Amazing! Traveling here for work and Unilocaled a few sushi options. The reviews for this place looked good so I decided to check it out and I’m VERY glad I did. I ordered the bento box to go and it was huge! I thought the sushi was delicious and the other items in the order were great! To top it off it was so cheap and the people inside were so nice! I’d come back next time I’m in the area :)

I visited this place at the beginning of this year, the food was very decent back then, so this time when I visit they changed the ownership I believe because the server and sushi chef were speaking in Korean. Anyway, no one welcomed us at the door, we waited our waitress for 5 minutes after we sat ourselves. Unilocal was offering free gyoza with one entrée purchase, so we got some pot stickers for free. We order teriyaki salmon and one bento box with beef teriyaki, calamari and California rolls as sides. The food was okay and we were the only customers there, in not sure about there lunch hour, we were there around 2:30, they didn’t offer us the lunch price. Our bill was ended like 30 dollars. Pretty pricy!

If you’re looking for a good sushi spot, Yuka is place to go! The taste of the sushi does not compare to any other sushi bar. They also have the best ginger salad ever! The staff is always courteous and gets your order in fast! I highly recommend you to try Yuka

Very simple looking sushi place, has lots of sushi roll selections, but lack other Japanese dishes. Sushi rolls were pretty good, bit more on the sweet side. Sashimi were fresh and service was good. Not too busy for a Saturday night. Good place to go for some good simple dishes and some rolls when your in the area. I wouldn’t drive here just for their food thou.

Horrible Service. My friend arrived 10 mins before I did. The sever came up to her and expected her to order, she explained she was waiting for one person and he yelled at her, «all orders need to be in by 920.» I arrived and the sever just kept walking past and ignoring us. 920 arrived no one had come to the table. A few mins later a Asian couple walks in. They immediately get red carpet service, oh how can we help you. Yes we are open. They have a seat. First and foremost your customers should come first and you shouldn’t treat people like trash. Will never order from this place again.

Unfortunately this sushi bar’s décor is more impressive than the food. The server took 15 minutes to take our drink orders. The sushi showed poor craftsmanship & consistently fell apart. The food was bland & I will not be back. The calamari was good but that’s about it. Beware!

I went here yesterday with a friend who is not a big sushi fan. We ordered: –Miso Soup –California Tempura(I requested to have cream cheese in it as well) –The Volcano Roll –Chicken Fried rice(for my friend who isn’t a fan of sushi) –Green tea This place is incredible, and I can definitely testify to that because my friend now LOVES sushi(as long as we get it from here!) The soup to start off with was simple but yummy! The sushi was very flavorful; I definitely recommend both of the sushi that we ordered, and try adding cream cheese to your California Tempura! It’s delicious! The fried rice was pretty good too, but I wouldn’t get it again. I’d rather just get more sushi! Haha. Oh get the green tea when you come here! Trust me. I added about 3 sugars, which was the perfect sweetness for me. The tea tastes very earthy, and goes very well with the sushi. The service was awesome. Our water was refilled regularly, and the server was attentive without hovering. This is definitely a perfect place to go with your friends or significant other for a casual lunch or dinner. The prices are cheaper than most sushi places, but not the cheapest(definitely worth every penny though). If your on the edge about coming here, I say stop reading reviews and check this place out now. You won’t regret it!

I really liked it here. The service was VERY quick. They utilize a team method so there’s always someone around to help. I loved the fried rice and that the hibachi shrimp came out on a sizzling skillet. My husband also loved his sushi. Only four stars for caned sodas so no refills. Definitely a hidden gem.

This is a decent place to go for a sushi fix. It seems a smidge better than Ru San’s which is across the street. I’d probably come back if I’m in the area and have a hankering for a quick fix. I’m a bit distrustful since they offer phở, a vietnamese noodle soup. But I guess they have to market to the Buckhead lunch crowd.

1st time here for sushi! The staff is super nice and polite. While I was checking in on Unilocal a coupon popped up, so I asked the waitress what it is and if I can use it and within minutes the appetizer was on the table! Wow nice service. Sushi is great and the shrimp stream dumplings were awesome too! Definitely coming back for sushi!!!

Health Grade 79 C. I noticed the health inspection AFTER eating at this restaurant. Picture menus are just plain cheesy but I didn’t feel safety was an issue. The restaurant has a history of failing or doing poorly on inspections. A few days later there was a follow up inspection where the score improved but this seems to be a pattern.

Stopped in while in the area for dinner. Ordered the sashimi regular which came with a nice assortment of fish, miso soup and salad. Also ordered the toro and ikura. The salad was fine but had too much dressing and the miso tasted too much of tofu and not enough of daashi. The tuna tasted pre-frozen and was grainy. The toro was not very good while the other fish and ikura was decent. Only reason this is not 2 stars is the service was very sweet.

The food was excellent. I got the spicy salad roll, buckhead roll, and crazy maki roll. All were very fresh and delicious. The crazy maki roll was a little big(the type that needs 2 bites). It gets 3 stars because of the service. I had no problem with mine but others around me did and I had to ask multiple times for water. Also had to chase the waitress down for a check. Maybe it was a bad night. But the food was great!

I have been here about three times now and am a huge fan of their sushi! My boyfriend and I like our sushi dressed up(topped with sauce/spicy mayo/crunch/etc.) and they have a lot of that here. The first time we came here, we made a togo order, so we did not get to have the full experience, but we loved it so much we came back twice and brought our friends along the third time. What I love about their menu is that they have pictures of EVERYTHING. I have a hard time deciding what kind of sushi I want, and it’s nice to see how it’s going to turn out and if it’s something I would like. The second time I came here we tried out the Rolls Royce roll– I have tried a similar roll elsewhere(also called a Rolls Royce) and this seemed to have similar ingredients, so we ordered it. It was great! not too spicy despite having a little jalepeno in it– but the third time we came, they put a LOT of jalepeno in it. I don’t know why, but I can’t eat too much spicy food, so I just took it out and ate it without. I’ve also tried their beef phở– it was pretty good. The fatty meat in there looked a little bit weird. so I steered clear from it, but other than that, the phở had great flavor even without any of the fresh veggies or brown sauce/soy sauce. I ordered a small and that was VERY large– great quantity! The pricing is a little off for the sushi, I think. Rolls range from $ 4-$ 17. I guess I might feel that way because they are located in a strip connected to Kroger– you would think it would be a bang for your buck, but then again, it is in Buckhead. I recommend: Georgia Crunch Roll, Dragon Roll, TNT Roll, and Rolls Royce(ask to put less jalepeno!).

Terrific restaurant tucked away in a Kroger shopping center. They have delicious sushi, soups, and salads, friendly and fast customer service, fresh fish, and reasonable prices. I also love that I can eat sushi in peace, without listening to loud and obnoxious music. Will continue dining here!

This is my go-to sushi stop. Eons above RuSans, slightly more casual than Tomo and infinitely more affordable than UMI. All in all, I find myself here the most! All of the fish is extremely fresh and you can taste the difference. And I’m talking sashimi and nigiri – not fried fish that needs sauces and tempura flakes to mask the quality. They have great sushi chefs that will cut thick or thin to your liking which is a welcomed rarity. I love that most people who walk in know people by name and are obviously regulars. The red slipper roll is the only roll I’ve tried here but it’s delicious! I find that I’m not a huge rice eater so I tend to stick to sashimi. The Don is a cool way to get best of both worlds-assorted sashimi over a small bowl of sticky rice. So you can dictate how much rice you’re consuming. My favorites here are red snapper, white tuna, salmon(the best! No idea why but here it just tastes better) and tuna. Sometimes I’ll go the yellowtail route but I’m not always in the mood for it. P.S. It’s located to the left if you’re facing the Disco Kroger and I usually take the cut-through off Peachtree by Gordon Biersch and LA Fitness to avoid traffic on Piedmont. That Starbucks makes the intersection Hell!

Very good sushi! I probably ordered too much, but I enjoyed it till the last piece. Nice ambiente, even if located in a mal area. Professional service, not oppressive but very careful. I really recommend a stop by if in the area

I’ve been here many times and I have to say, this is by the far, the worse experience ever. I don’t plan on coming back because I’ve seen this on many occasions but never mind it until now… No matter how great your food is, your bad service is poison. I ordered Beef Phở with extra meat and their meat is pretty scanty — $ 1.50 for extra. My original waitress is fine, but her partner is gawd awful. She’s just damn rude. She threw my bowl of Phở in front of me without saying a word and went off. I called her over to ask for an order that never came, it was cucumber rolls — they didn’t have filet anything. It’s cucumber, rice and seaweed, but all the food came out except that. She came over, didn’t even want to make eye contact with me or show any concern about my dining experience so far… went off and never came back to let me know about the order. So I went towards the back and I saw my cucumber roll there, but I ask the original waitress where my rolls at? She said she didn’t’ think I wanted it, well I did say I wanted it… but wait, she didn’t charge me for it. WTF? Is that doing me a favor? I’m not a favorable person when people eff up my orders. It’s lunch time, there’s a total of 4 customers by the way… Later on she brought that same roll that I saw on the counter to me and said that her partner never told her about the order so she didn’t know. The whole time, that ding dong did not bother to tell the original waitress about it. In fact, she saw me talking to the original waitress but never came to address the issue. Ok, I understand people make mistakes but I can’t deal with the rudeness. If you don’t like your job, quit. If you don’t like serving people or people in general, go be by yourself. I’m DONE.
