I Love Debra the owner she has been styling my hair for YEARS! Her whole staff is very knowledgable about any kind of hair or color so please give her a call! Debra is the BOMB with my locs and color!

Went to see Giovanni for a consultation. My hair is natural, so i needed someone that can cut and style natural hair. I let her know that I’d just grown out the previous bad cut as well as showed her a picture of the bad cut. I also let her know that I would like to have my current color retouched.
I felt comfortable with her, so i told her she could go ahead with the services. Well first was the cut which she seemed to have a little trouble with. Then the color. The end result was a color that was darker than the previously colored section. When I mentioned it to her, she became incredibly defensive (!) and said that I asked for that color. Who asks to have their hair colored so that it looks like the original color has grown out? I noticed how defensive she’d become and did not continue with the chemical services. I also noticed my haircut was not as I’d asked, but I wanted to give her the chance to style it to see if there was something she had in mind.
She deep conditioned my hair and attempted to style it. Unbelievably it was nearly identical to the style i showed to her that I’d just grown out. The only difference was that it was a more masculine version of it, so the first bad cut was actually better! I went home to see if i could work with it, found that the cut was as awful as i’d thought and it was not even, so i needed someone to even it up.
The next evening I sent her a text message letting her know that I was unhappy with my hair and would like her to call me when she had a moment. I was hoping that she would be a professional and attempt to rectify the situation with additional suggestions or an offer to fix things (silly me). Here is the direct quote from the reply she texted me:
«Excuse me. I consulted, colored n cut ur hair exactly how u asked me too. U need to be more clear nxt with whomever does ur hair.»
Professional with great customer service to the end. I love it when my hair stylists are perfect, so any issue that crops up is the fault of the client. I guess pictures aren’t worth so much these days.
I will say that she was good at time management, attentive while my color was on and while i was under the dryer. That is worthy of one star. Her washing and conditioning skills are great, everything else was lacking.

Paris does a wonderful job with my hair, my friends’ hair and I’ve seen him work miracles on thinning old ladies too. light on product, so your hair keeps it’s bounce and shine. Nice looking smallish salon — everyone is friendly. The shampoo girl is a bit too vigorous on those shampoos though. If you’re tender headed, you will have to tell her ease up. Prices are reasonable as far as I’ve experienced. Free parking. edited to add: After learning my way around a ceramic flat iron, I had forgotten about that overwhelming pressing comb smell, so I had to remove a star.
