I usually stop here for sushi on my walk home, which usually includes tuna sashimi/nigiri and eel nigiri. Both always appear fresh and taste great. Tonight with the cold weather I ordered delivery which included wonton soup, spring rolls, tuna sashimi, and Kung Pao Shrimp with steamed rice. I love the Kung Pao Shrimp! I live nearby so delivery was between 30−40min. I’d expect 45−60min if I lived further. The delivery guy through grub hub is always friendly.

Worse customer service ever. Attempted to call in an order for my office and the guy who answered the phone was extremely rude. The prices on their website are incorrect and he told me they WOULDNOT honor those prices because people just go to the website to look at the menu. This made absolutely no sense to me. I asked for a manager and he stated to me that he was the manager. After finding this out, I asked who the owner was because oftentimes one bad apple causes a small business’ reputation to sink. This same guy told me that was non of my business. I could not find any company information on the secretary of state’s website, but I will be contacting the BBB and filing a formal complaint under false advertising. If I could rate this restaurant a zero for service, I would. The sad part is that we having been ordering from them for quite some time, but this time we will not return.

Wanted to grab a bite to eat and found this restaurant close to the Hilton. This place a complete miss. First they don’t serve Sake(as the table next to us was setting theirs on fire) and second their service was awful. When my date asked for an extra lemon for his water the waitress’s reaction was as if we asked her for her first born child. She had a brief side discussion with her husband(inaudible to us) in front of us but finally rolled her eyes and proceeded to get the one slice of lemon he requested. The food was mediocre(we ordered spider roll/& various Nigri). Our waitress(owner of the restaurant. its family owned) paid no attention to us for the remainder of the night & we were one of two tables in the entire place(she was too busy serving the table with the flaming sake). At the end of the night she messed up our check but when my date wanted to help her figure out the confusion she snapped at him(there’s definitely a language barrier). Oh & side note I got a glimpse into the kitchen and second guessed our decision to eat here.

So far my adventure in Atlanta is average food and weird homeless ppl, not dangerous, just weird. This Asian restaurant is just below average. I asked for flying fish roe and was told that they don’t have it, only to have a sushi roll covered in it. I asked for jasmine tea and was served oolong tea. Goodbye Atlanta. I’m glad I don’t have to be here that often!

My favorite thing to order here is the Volcano Roll. It has octopus chopped up on top and it’s marinated in spicy mayo and roe. It’s so spicy and unique. This place kind of feels like a hole in the wall, but if you look beyond that, their food is fresh and delicious!

The food was really a disappointment, even for non– Buford Highway Chinese food. We had sushi, Penang curry, and eggplant and broccoli. The rice was terrible and dry, not soft and sticky. The chicken in the curry was really flabby and«cheap» tasting. I’ll be going elsewhere next time.

I only order delivery from here, but I have never been disappointed. In my experience they have the best sushi and sashimi in town, and all the other dishes I’ve ordered have been good too. Special shout-out to my regular delivery guy Paul — he’s the best!

I made a delivery order from Aloha that had missing items. Along with my incorrect order, pieces of my General Tso’s chicken was undercooked making it inedible and in my vegetable lo mein I was horrified to find an acrylic nail. After calling and letting the restaurant know of what I found they only sent me more food I didn’t want. I am completely disgusted and will never be ordering from them again.

Decided on Friday, June 5th that I was gonna stay in the office instead of going out to lunch. Now keep in mind that because I just started a new job I am not familiar with which restaurants are good and bad near my office. Went on grubhub to find one that will deliver was in the mood for Chinese food so decided to give Aloha a try: Time of order: 11:40 am Time order delivered to my office: 1:10 pm… keep in mind that Aloha is a 5 minute drive from my office! Items ordered: Mongolian beef(lunch special), shrimp toast and the lunch special comes with 1 crab rangoon and an egg roll. Total with tax and delivery charge: $ 16.58 Another thing I should mention is that I am from NYC and used to eating really authentic Chinese food in NYC’s Chinatown. Have eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants since moving to the south from South Carolina to Georgia… most were just okay! Out of all of the places I have eaten Aloha has the WORSTFRIEDRICE I HAVEEVEREATEN… this is the laziest fried rice I have ever seen. How does Aloha make a fried rice with nothing in it… no onion, no scallions, no bean sprouts, no nothing. Just plain brown rice(see picture) with absolutely nothing in it! The other thing that I just don’t understand is why it takes Aloha 1 ½ hours to cook and deliver the food to an office that is 5 minutes away? Oh and keep in mind I decided to try this place based on Unilocal reviews… makes me wonder where those of you that gave this place a good review have been eating. Wow!

After four years of knowing my bestie, this is the first time actually eating at his family’s restaurant. We usually order out when we get food from Aloha, so this was a new experience. Chinese takeout is my guilty pleasure. So why not enjoy some Chinese after boozy brunch. My friend brought out our favorites: Crab Rangoon Shrimp egg rolls Pork egg rolls Walnut shrimp Fried chicken wings All that fried, greasy goodness was beautiful on the plate and in my belly. Delish!

I’ve ordered in from Aloha a few times now and I’m always so delighted! Good American Asian cuisine in Atlanta seems to be really hard to come by, but Aloha is by far my favorite Chinese delivery option :) What I love… I mean absolutely love about Aloha, is that they have fresh veggies galore!!! The veggies aren’t frozen or canned or some other non sense. All fresh! And you can taste it! Crisp yet tender broccoli, juicy mushrooms, slightly crunchy carrots and asparagus… My God! YUM! My husband likes to get the sushi. And we usually order Veggie Lo Mein and some other type of protein for our son. And i usually am craving spicy meat and veggies. I LOVE their General Tso’s! I feel like Aloha really satisfies everyone’s cravings. I always order through Grub Hub and it takes about an hour or so… So, not super fast delivery, but the wait is well worth it! And the prices are reasonable, but I wouldn’t categorize it as cheap. I recommend you giving Aloha a try when you have a hankering for any type of American Asian deliciousness :)

It was my day off work, and I was in the mood for some Chinese. So, I decided to give them a try. I got the chicken lo mein lunch special. It’s a pretty good deal with lo mein, fried rice, and one piece of crab ragoon and egg roll. The lo mein was pretty good. I’ve had lo mein at other places which is pretty dry, but that was not the case here. The fried rice was, well, fried rice. There were only like 1 or 2 small pieces of egg in it, and I wish there was more. The egg roll was good, but the crab rangoon had very little filling. I also got the crunch roll, which was disappointing. I’m not sure what happened, but it was very soggy. No «crunch» at all.

I was chillin at the house and I saw this menu on the counter so I said fvck it let me give this place a try since I don’t feel like goin anywhere. I ordered the house special fried rice no pork. The dude on the phone said it would take 30 minutes and guess what… It took 30 minutes. It arrived hot enough to eat so I smashed it cuz I was hungry. They were not stingy with the shrimp and the chicken was decent. All in all the food was alright. I would order from them again.

We’ve been going here on an off for about 3 years. The dine-in customer experience is bearable, but based on customer service alone they would receive 1 star. Right when we entered the man who greeted us immediately said, «you here for take out?»…confused we said no. We were the only ones in the very small dining room. We asked if they were open and he seated us. Not friendly just did his job. When ordering tea he described the tea as «regular hot tea». I asked what that means and he told me «it’s brown». Okay… so don’t ask too many questions. The lack of friendliness and the fact that they currently use their sushi bar area as an extra shelf(phone books and old boxes stored around it) tells anyone that their main focus is take-out orders. If you have the patience to get over this — the sushi is actually very good. We always get the sushi and have never had complaints. They have a good selection of fusion rolls that come with about 6 – 8 pieces. This time we got the North Beach Roll which is a California roll topped with baked salmon & spicy mayo. It was very good and I liked that they didn’t smother it with spicy mayo. Aloha is a good place to go is you want sushi that isn’t all dressed up with condiments and crazy extras. The rolls are good quality and contain a good amount of fish. Don’t go for the atmosphere or the customer experience. They do a great job of making it clear that you should get your food and be on your way.

It completely blows my mind when I read the bad reviews of Aloha. This is my favorite place to get sushi that is not ridiculously expensive. Soooo far above Ru Sans or crappy supermarket sushi but not much higher in price. I order from here about once a week — the driver is always early(about 30 minutes) and since I order from there so often he knows me by name and is always extremely friendly. I have also eaten at the restaurant. Although the building is small, the quality of the food is amazing and everyone has been nothing but nice to me there. I usually order the sushi, but have also gotten the lo mein, egg fo yung, and plenty of other non-sushi dishes. No other Chinese/Japanese takeout place in Midtown is better in my opinion. I use Grubhub to order delivery from them and they never forget an item and are always on time or early. I encourage you to try it!!!
