I have been working with the Door and Window Companies through out California for sometime.
And have to say in the Central Coast
Atascadero Glass is the Best Company I have ever worked with.
The People are Great and the Best part is the Installation work they do is by far the Beat I have ever seen.
Jesse one of their key Installers not only does a clean job, but is a very pleasant person to work with and answers any questions you have.
Mike and Paige in the Office is very nice to work with.
I today’s World you get what you pay for
and even if I have to pay more it is well worth it, using a Company like Atascadero Glass.

So far great experience with this company. i read the negative reviews and had a little concern. Bill, Jesse, Felipe, Paige, Scott & Craig have been a pleasure to work. They sent guys to measure on a Friday afternoon to accommodate my schedule. I add a sliding glass door to the project and they had a an there the day i needed to measure. everything has been great. doing 2 more jobs with them

I would love to be the person to review about how amazing my windows look, but fir that I would need a quote and the salesman would have showed up, but that was not the case. Last year we got a quote to replace a few windows and sliding doors, we were told about the financing and were ready to go until we found out the financing was not so easy to get. We then made a plan to save money and get the project going and so we made an appointment to have Dave come to the house to give us a new quote and answer a few questions we have, I left work early to be home. Eager to get the project going. Dave never showed up, I called the company 20 minutes after scheduled time and Dave himself told me he had made sales that day and he would not be coming to my house. I was pretty annoyed but we went ahead and re scheduled the visit for a week later since my husband and I work full time we schedule for the convenient time Dave proposed, Friday at 4.
I then contacted Paige (who’s always super nice) and asked that she makes sure we are on the books for Friday at 4. She was going to double check. I did not hear back.
Friday came and I made sure to be home at 3:30 just in case Dave should up early. At 4:15 I get a call from Dave letting me know he wants to leave work early and will not make to the appointment, he then tried to check the quote from last year and said he needed to come in to give us a new one. DAH! And he also wanted to re schedule the appointment… Seriously! Needless to say, the poor customer service and lack of professionalism I personally received from Dave is enough to make me go elsewhere. This is the absolute worst service I have ever received and let me tell you, I have lived in different states and countries. Very disappointing.

I just completed a remodel and used Atascadero glass for all my windows and doors. Jim Stevens handled all the details and it was a great experience from start to finish. Customer service was excellent!

UPDATE: The manager Bil called me to see if there was anything he could do to make it right. He recently came out to the house and offered further explanation on their original decision to shy away from what I had asked for. He really understands the business but also sees my concerns and is looking into another solution. I can’t rate them based on their work (yet) as I haven’t yet had anything installed yet but based on the followup and effort to make it right, I give Bil an A+.

Thank you Paige, Craig and the whole team. Great product and wonderful service. You delivered everything as promised and more! We love our new tub /​shower enclosure, installed just in time for holiday guests. Jeff and Sally in AG.

Needed a custom shelf made for my entertainment center, went to another shop and was quoted nearly double what I was expecting. Courtney at Atascadero Glass got me setup for a reasonable price and was a pleasure to work with. I’ll be using Atascadero Glass in the future!

Poor customer service. They were unable to provide a sample of the windows that I wanted to order for my new house. They did not have a sample in their showroom and were unable to provide a customer’s name where I could look at the windows. Who would buy windows for a new house without seeing a physical example. No the pamphlet does not count.

I love these guys! They did a great job on the window I brought in and then wrapped it all up in cardboard for me so it wouldnt break. The girls are all efficient and very friendly. Page is a veteran, even, and I’m very thankful for her service to our country.

Don’t make the mistake of using Atascadero Glass. This is my second bad experience with these guys and there will NOT be a third! Both my reviews are listed on Google and I’m not going to fully explain their incompetence again… other than to say, they will Not call you back, they will NOT keep you informed, they WILL misinform you as much as possible and they are WAY more expensive than other places. I asked if they would match Paso glass’ price and they did, but they were higher to start with. They said a few days for my material and its turning into a few weeks. Don’t use these guys! Look at other reviews! I’m not the only one who has issues with Atascadero Glass.

A few years ago we hired this expensive company for replacement of two sliding glass doors, a large bay window and 4 others. At first glance I noticed the final product did not appear to be finished. They tore out the entire frames and replaced with cheap plywood. Large nail heads were visible with «indoor» caulking (on exterior) slathered over wide gaps. Now, after time the plywood framing is bowed and warped, nails have popped out and caulking completely disintegrated. In addition any insulation that originally existed is gone so moisture enters via exterior wide seams they created. As others have stated I would give no stars if possible.

Order two shower door replacements. Great price. Best in north county. When the pieces arrived we were called promptly. I pick up myself. Staff was very helpful in loading and answering some final install questions.

Pay attention to the other reviews! I ordered shower glass from them. When the glass was installed it has scratches and pits in it. When they came out to see the issues I was told I had bought construction grade glass and the imperfections were to be expected. I will not do business with this company again. My hard earned dollars paid for glass that would be sold in a second hand shop! Stay away from this company.

We contacted Atascadero Glass about doing replacement window in our Atascadero home. We visited their showroom to view the different styles and colors on display, and made arrangements to have a representative come to the house to take the measurements. The rep arrived on time and was prepared with samples for us to view in our home setting. After selecting the style and color, the rep said he would get us a quote right away, which he did by email the next morning. After accepting the quote, arrangements where made to have the final measurements taken by their installers. The installation team arrived on time, took all the necessary measurements, and confirmed exactly what we wanted, both style and color. After our order was built, we were contacted with an installation date and time. The installers arrived on time, were neat in appearance and looked professional. The work was estimated to take 1 ½ days. It took 1 ½ days and it looks great. Their cleanup and final walk-​through inspection with us was outstanding. We are very pleased to recommend Atascadero Glass as a first rate company

Atascadero Glass is a company you want to steer far clear of.
First off, we called them up and asked a representative to come out and give us an estimate on how much it would cost to replace a couple of windows and service two windows that open with a crank. When the man they sent out finally came, he took the crank part with him and said he needed it to research the part which we would have to order.
Secondly, Atascadero Glass never called us back with a quote. We had to call their office multiple times to get the estimate. One would think they have too much business? The price quote came in at almost $ 200 more than other businesses in the area that we called.
Thirdly, the man who took our part never returned it. We’ve called their office and the woman who answered claimed to know nothing about it. Whether they are holding the part hostage to try and get business or if they were just being sloppy and misplaced it and hope we’d forget, either way it is highly unprofessional.
Lastly, we’ve come to find out that Atascadero Glass puts a highly misandrist commercial out over the radio. In the ad, the wife locks the husband in the closet until he agrees to get the windows replaced by Atascadero Glass. Would it be funny if we locked women, children or dogs in the closet? Why are men subject to such «funny» abuse for the sake of selling a product or service.
Add it all up and I’d give Atascadero Glass less than one star if I could. Nearly a week after our attempts to get our part back, we still don’t have it in hand. We’re going to have to march down to their office or file a report with the Atascadero Police if they don’t start taking us seriously. Avoid them like the plague.

We’ve dealt with this business for several years and were happy with the service. Lately, something has changed. Phone calls are not returned and service is slow or doesn’t exist at all. We’ll have to take our business elsewhere.
