History

Established in 2011.

Located in what was the original commisary to the landmark Kaufman Astoria Studios, the Astor Room is bringing a bit of old-school Hollywood glamour back to Astoria, where it all began. The studio was built in 1920 and The Astor Room has some incredibly well-preserved elements from this time, including the beutifully ornate tiled walls and grand marble staircase. The Astor Room opened it’s doors to the public on February 10, 2011.
