I just ordered through their website, got a confirmation email and was told I would have my delivery in 30 minutes or less. An hour later, after not receiving my order, I called them. They said their website doesn’t work and no other explanation was given. For overpriced diner food, you’re better off going somewhere else.

Thanks so much guys you made her day and her club sandwich was exactly how she likes it and fresh, My muffin was delish How I wished I could have stayed for the cheesecake. Class!!!

I’ve been visiting NYC for the past week and have hit up this diner twice. If you’re ever looking for a late night or early morning meal, this spot is tight. Food is cooked on the spot and good portion size. The Michael’s burger was delicious!

There food is really good, I like the décor and the waiter Jose was very efficient. I had a chicken wrap cooked well and ff were just right. The service was great and he definetly earned his tip. I will be back. One of the better places in astoria.

Michael’s Restaurant is excellent for brunch. The food is delicious, and there is a fantastic $ 15 prix fixe deal with two brunch cocktails and an entrée. I’ve never had trouble getting a table or a booth – even at prime brunch hours, and the service is quick and friendly. Pleasant décor. I recommend the pancakes, which are very light and fluffy; as well as the turkey bacon omelette. But honestly nothing I’ve ever ordered here has been less than delicious. I am often overwhelmed by the number of enticing options on the menu. Michael’s Restaurant is a quality/value option for Astorian brunch-goers.

A great diner in Astoria for breakfast. Huge portions and good prices and the wait isn’t ridiculous as in some places. I ususally always get one of the omelets because they are huge.

A very nice place to eat. Enjoyed the décor! I ordered a turkey club and the turkey is a bit dry.(Mayo helped) French fries were nicely cooked.

This place has been around for a long time. Long, diner– style menu. got the mozzarella sticks which were really good and of course had to accompany those with an order of chicken tenders with honey mustard. I was not disappointed. open 24 hours!

OMG to all you newbees that have moved in — eat here. The food is wonderful, the portions are big and the service is always great. Its an old business has been here for many many years. Its by far better than the other places on broadway for traditional foods. Its not what one would expect from a diner. Its great traditional american food for breakfast lunch and dinner and anything else in between. You’ll also enjoy the old photos on the wall of old Astoria. Some of us have families that were here then and generations down are still here(me included). Thanks Michael’s for all the great foods and service!!!

I’ve been coming here for years and this place is great. Local spot that is open 24 hours. The mozzarella sticks are the best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had. Had their BBQ burger and it was decent. Their brunch is also really good. Their Michael’s omelette is massive. They serve breakfast all day. Attentive staff

Have tried many things here & enjoyed them all. Recently had the ravioli in a tomato cream sauce w/melted mozzarella that was good and very impressed with chicken francese last time I had it here. I’m not a seafood person and I even enjoyed the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms. They have specials where you get soup/salad, bread, choice of entrée, coffee/tea and choice of dessert for $ 16-$ 19. Some of these even include steak and high-end seafood choices. The cheesecake is really good for the dessert option. In addition they have specials from 5−8pm where u can get wine for $ 4 and other specials on alcohol. We had Maria as our server and she was so pleasant and very attentive, I never had to wait for a water refill or extra napkins or anything, she was on top of it — great service. Recommended!

Recommend going here for breakfast or brunch(as long as you’re ordering breakfast food, the best kind there is.) They know how to do a girl’s turkey bacon riiigghhttt… extra crispy but not burnt. Side note: their delivery service has been a bit horrid.

First off, the food at Michael’s is consistently really good. Like any diner, they have a wide variety of choices, but Michael’s in particular has TONS of options(it’s almost overwhelming). We have tried many of their dishes and everything is always good(their omelettes and grilled chicken wraps are my favorites). It’s always pretty busy but we’ve never had to wait too long for a table. I one hundred percent agree with the reviews that say the food is delicious, but the delivery is SO inconsistent. They routinely forget the extra sauce you requested, include onions when you didn’t want them or give you fries when you requested a salad. It was actually enough to make me decide not to order from them anymore. I am torn as far as how many stars to give, because while their food is always delicious, they are overpriced and the delivery could use a lot of improvement. I am between a 2&3. If they lowered prices and improved delivery, it would be a solid 3.

It’s a typical New York diner. You don’t come here for the frills, just for the good decently priced food at any time of the day. I’ve been here a handful of times already, and the service is friendly and quick. They serve alcohol and have a pretty good brunch menu if you don’t want to stand in line and spend $ 50 a person for brunch. In short, it’s unpretentious and does the trick.

Michael’s serves pretty standard diner dare, but they do a good job of it. The brunch specials are a pretty good deal. They include coffee or tea and two alcoholic beverages. The drinks might be small, but they’re very strong. Pro tip: Order Greek food.(I know, obvious, but lots of people don’t do it.) Their gyro meat is especially delicious; I usually get it over a Greek salad. If you’re unhappy with your food, try ordering something different next time — you’re probably doin’ it wrong.(Can’t speak to delivery, I’ve never tried it.)

I ate there so many times it was my second home… Most of the food is excellent and if I may recommend the cheese cake, it is sinful. The portion sizes are huge, and you do get a lot for your money. My reason for not giving 5 stars is the weekend and more specifically Sunday brunch. That place turns into a frantic zoo, with people standing everywhere, waiting for a table, the waiters can barely get to your table and of course the level of noise is out of this world. However, if you do get through all that, it is a great place to eat and service is good for a dinner.

The boy and I generally do brunch on weekends at the same places. I don’t normally mind since Astoria’s Lite Bites has fantastic food and really amazing service, but now ever since we did brunch at a nearby Mexican place, we’re striving to do brunches as a new place each weekend… we’ll see how this goes, lol. My boyfriend had suggested this place to me a few weeks ago because he always walks by it, has never been and had heard positive things. They’re a pleasant looking diner, kind of big with roomy padded booths. Oh what’s that? You have a $ 14 casual brunch with a variety of sweet and savory dishes and my pick of 3 cocktails which include more than like 4 – 5 different types of drinks AND a cup or tea or coffee?! SIGNMEUP. I ended up not engaging in their boozy brunch special because I had consumed copious amount of fancypants gin cocktails the night before(along with half a bottle of red wine with the boo and a random whipped cream pinnacle cocktail that he lovingly whipped up for me, lol) and decided that what I needed was cold water(for all intensive hydration purposes) and caffeine(iced coffee since for some reason I was feeling insanely drained out), Always a fan of yummy breakfast foods and trying to stay away from fries for dietary purposes, I went with a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a toasted roll with butter. My roll was tasty, novelty toasted/buttered and fresh and my cheese was perfectly gooey and melted in between two layers of perfectly prepared eggs and my sausages were thick, flavorful and generously sized. I was pleased. My boyfriend ordered a Sliced Turkey Club sandwich. It came with sliced turkey breast(obvi), bacon, lettuce and tomato and was served with cole slaw, pickle and french fries. The turkey was SUPER dry and kind of tasteless. I suggested he order a side of mayo and while it helped, it didn’t save it. The bacon looked crispy and okay — but the fries were pretty spectacular. I like a good«fried to potato» ratio when it comes to fries and they’re weren’t greasy which is also great. But the turkey was a fail. To be honest I want to give this place a solid 3.5 — upon entering we were confused as to whether or not we should seat ourselves when there’s a hostess by the register, we did just make ourselves at home I’m one of the larger booths and we were given menus immediately. But after we closed our menus we had to try to make eye contact with anyone who worked there I order to get someone to come over and take our orders. Regardless, the food made its way over to us pretty quickly, was presented nicely and to be fair, it was pretty packed and super busy today. I would come back when I feel up to doing a boozy, diner brunch — and I would just stay away from any dishes involving turkey — 4 stars :).
