The TDF Costume Collection houses over 80,000 professionally designed costumes for rental at affordable prices.

This huge inventory of all styles of costume, from Egyptian to Modern, is located in the Kaufman Astoria Film Studios and is available for rental nationwide to performing arts companies, educational institutions, and other charitable organizations, as well as television and film productions.

History

Established in 1974.

Since its inception in 1974, the Costume Collection has provided professionally designed costume rentals at affordable prices predominately to non-​profit performing arts companies, educational institutions and other charitable groups nationwide. In 2011-​12, the Costume Collection provided costumes for over 1000 productions in 28 states across the country.

The Costume Collection houses more than 80,000 pieces that have all been donated. As we cannot purchase items, our stock comes from Broadway and Off-​Broadway productions, opera companies and touring companies, film and TV, countless individuals, etc.
