History
Established in 2014.
The Bayberry Inn is a beautiful Craftsman Style Home that has been running as a B&B for over 30 years.
It was originally called Myrtle Wood Manor, as the front part of the building was closed off and used as a store and the basement was a myrtle wood work shop. The owners would create their own crafts using local myrtle wood and sell it in the store. Since becoming a B&B in the 1960’s, however, the front shop has been removed and the space opened up to allow for the gorgeous front veranda.
The Bayberry Inn is a large stately home with 6 bedrooms, 3 upstairs and 3 on the ground floor and because of the layout, lends itself well to hosting large parties and events. The layout also provides space between guest rooms, allowing for privacy.
There is a beautiful landscaped garden in the back, which is perfect for a marquis to host small intimate weddings and events. The grand living room is ideal for guests to gather and enjoy their morning coffee or evening sherry.
