We are a small store with a big heart located in the heart of Arlington on Broadway Plaza.

Our mission is to support local artist by providing an exciting venue to display and sell their work. At the Artful Heart Gallery artists and buyers come together in a vibrant and welcoming environment. By hosting artist talks and special events The Artful Heart Gallery encourages the wider community to see and share the beauty of locally made crafts.

Carla Dorato, owner of the Artful Heart Gallery and a jewelry artist herself, had hoped that someday she would open her own gallery. When she learned that Erica Manalang, the former owner of Divinity’s Splendor Glow was too ill to continue with the shop, she saw the opportunity to fulfill her dream, save a valuable institution and help a fellow artist in need. Aided by friends and family, Carla was able to take over the lease and open as the Artful Heart Gallery in late November of 2012. There are over 100 local artists represented,

from potter to painters. Please come take a look!

This is a cozy little place where you can find a wealth of items made by local artists. The owner and staff are very nice, and always pleasant to interact with. Whether you’re looking for jewelry, unique items for the home, or a gift, It’s definitely worth a visit. Maybe two!

This little place is so very wonderful! It features all manner of things made my local artisans. Jewelry, decorative glass items, pottery, cards, scarves. Then there are other little things you notice at the last minute that are great gift items. (Whimsical refrigerator magnets handmade in RI, for example.) I see that a couple reviewers called things «pricey,» but considering the quality and the fact that most of these things are handmade, I don’t find it pricey. I just got a stunning pair of earrings for only $ 28. Great place for gifts, or for when you want to treat yourself.
Furthermore, unlike trendy boutiques that impersonally sell their stock, the owner — Carla Dorato — is one of the artisans herself. This store is clearly her passion, and she cares about the customers and the artisans whose work she sells.

This is such an adorable store with tons of hand-​made items. We came here to get some Christmas presents for the MIL, and she loved the soft scarf and beautiful earrings she got. Actually, I liked them so much I wanted to keep it for myself =P.
It is a bit pricy, but everything is handmade, unique, and beautiful! Plus the staff are super friendly and packed the presents in nice little boxes for us.

Cute items in this store, but a little pricey for my taste. This is a great place to stop when looking for a unique, handmade gift, but expect to spend at least $ 50.
