Decent prices on alcohol. Plenty of pool tables and dart boards. I like the way it has separate sections. Lively side with live music or traditional pub setting on the other side.

Monday night it was literally EMPTY. But… we did have good time. They have large pool tables room, nice selection of draft beers and friendly staff. Good times

We fought Rangers traffic to get over here on a home game Saturday night. It was fairly early, so the entire pub had maybe four occupied tables. First visit & not sure what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. They have a decent beer selection and a really long happy hour — which we caught. We started with an appetizer sampler. I was pleased to see the items came out in even and logical numbers. My Shepard’s pie was good, but too«stiff.» It came out piping hot(nice), but literally the gravy was all absorbed & the mashed potato crust was not browned. The cheeseburger for my companion was exponentially better. We did not do desert. There is a lot of parking since it is in a shopping center. The place is huge as well. There were some rowdy hockey hooligans on the patio — all in good fun. If I have a suggestion for a major improvement, they televisions inside need better placement… I mean if you are going for the sports bar thing… Overall a good experience. Worth a return engagement.

Good place to go to watch the game and have a few beers. Nice local selection on tap. Good food. Mac and cheese bites were great and the burger was good also. Will definitely come here again.

With a nice smoke-free environment inside and waitresses that actually engage the customer provide drink recommendations, know the menu, the food, the regulars, and future regulars; this place has definitely stepped it up. Whether you’re enjoying some drinks after work or a piping hot meal you’re in good stead with fair pricing and fast quality of service. If you’re looking for a quick dessert for date night this will provide you a wonderful selection of different choices to pair with a good drink. Additionally, the staff including the management, bouncers, bartenders and waitstaff ensure that people are treated respectfully, so that everyone can enjoy a nice evening out.

The only way Sherlock’s could be any better is if they had a good crime or mystery that needed my solving problem skills. Quality filled 99 cents mimosas, and OMG very nice purple felt pool tables, lots & lots of pool tables! I’ll be there every Sat. & Sun. Having mimosas & playing pool on purple felt!

I always have a great time when I go here. I could do without all the smoke that’s the only downfall. Always a mixed crowd. The food is decent and drinks are good. I’ve never experienced any problems with service or anything else here. The bathrooms need a little attention but other than that great place to go.

It was a Tuesday night. The place was lightly filled with regulars fighting over chicken strips and what drink to have next. Bartender Bryan accommodated every request, even from a wild suggest. Robin kept me under control only to order for me the three sample. I’ll tip my new hat to her as the beer be-4. If your gonna go, go with a smile and plan to stay awhile. Go Robin!!! I’ll be back for your beauty, charisma, and counseling. Lol

One of the best places for live music in the Metroplex… never a door fee. They have an awesome happy hour every day till nine o’clock and all day Sunday.

Good spot off the interstate is you are going to AT&T stadium. I had the fish and ships. Above average and the portion was decent. Bloody Mary was good.

Female hispanic blonde waitress was awesome! Female white bus girl married to chef was awesome! Male, white dude with bad haircut was extremely rude. Thanks to the female staff for a great night!

Went here to grab a quick bite before the Rangers game on Sunday. The food was pretty good for bar food. Zucchini fries were great. Wings were a bit bland and the bleu cheese that came with it was clearly a powder mix– it was very watery with no actual bleu cheese. The service was not good. Our drinks and food took a really long time. When the appetizers came out we had to get up and get our own silverware and plates. We understood they were running a bit behind so once our appetizer arrived we asked for our check… yet we were still sitting there with our payment ready well after we were finished eating and ready to leave. We had to go find our waitress to run our cards. She was taking care of a big party but she should have had someone watching her section while she was occupied. Our waitress was polite and the food was alright, they just seemed horribly understaffed.

BARTENDERNAMED: RYAN 2nd time here at this bar, great bar. But when I came back«Ryan» was completely rude to the customers in front of us waiting to order drinks. Put fingers to his head and act like to shoot himself because he forgot to give someone a beer in front of us. And was completely rude to customers ahead. I’ve been in the service industry for YEARS and seams like he couldn’t handle the pressure of bartender like I and others can. He refused to server us after I had my brother use a tone to order because he couldn’t hear us. Closed us out after one drink(we haven’t even been drinking before that) and said«you need to get a waitress» awful bartender I’ll make sure I won’t be back and tell others. I work at many clubs in Dallas. After that. No respect. I would love to come back, but not if he serves like that all the time. Sorry not sorry.

I love this place for the drinks and the live music. It’s great for large groups who enjoy dancing and drinking. The food isn’t the greatest BUT drink enough booze and it won’t matter!

This Sherlocks is bigger than most, with a pool room that’s fairly large and a good sized seating area. But Sherlocks is essentially an overpriced dive-bar and a real meat market. If you’re a lady here on any given night, expect to be inundated by offer and offer of «free» drinks — it gets a bit ridiculous, especially since the quality of guys here tends to be douchebags or rednecks. I imagine that the affliction shirts have died down a bit recently, but the last time I was there, I still spotted a few. Sherlocks is good for dinner– decent pub food with a faux-English twist and it’s good for some of the live bands, but overall, if I want to go to a dive bar, that’s where I’ll go but if I want to go somewhere with a crowd that’s crawling with desperate divorcees and creepy young guys looking for anything(anything) to «smash»…this place is first in my list.

This was pretty standard for a Sherlock’s. It is heavy on the saloon-like wooden paneling, and there was a cover band playing too loudly :) The place smelled like a mix of fresh beer from the tap, beer on the floor, cigarettes. It was a Wednesday night… and it really wasn’t very crowded. That being said, those intoxicated people who dance on support beams like they’re stripper poles were there. The pickle spears were tasty, but I wish there had been more!

I just loved it… Will definitely go back again n again. The ambience … The live band … The dance performances … The food … The drinks … The people … I call it a perfect FRIDAYNIGHT … The only disappointing issue was their service. I think they very few servers and so the service was damn slow … The appearance of the food raised our expectations on the taste and not to forget to mention the taste was also equally good as it appeared to look. The quantity was reasonable … Tasted Cheese quesadilla 4⁄5 Chicken quesadilla 4⁄5 Seasoned fries 5⁄5 Chicken drumsticks 3.5÷5 Loaded and baked potato 4⁄5 Chips and spinach dip 5⁄5 Stuffed nachos 4.5÷5 Lemonade 3.5÷5 Overall Food 4.5÷5 Ambience 4.5÷5 Service 1.5÷5 Quantity 4⁄5

came here after work for happy hour. holy crap this place is huge! since it was 2 no one was there so that made it great haha. the menu is pretty extensive i was only expecting some simple bar food. but it was come gourmet stuff! i def need to have lunch here. i had the siracha burger with an egg. i was going to do the english burger because of the egg but i love siracha so i went with that and loved that i could make additions to my burger. the patty was very well seasoned and the burger itself was plenty big i wasnt full but satisfied and i had chips instead of fries. the service here was was and its a little dark but its a bar so oh well. prices were fine standard had an okay selection of drafts and local beers so that was good.

I have been here a few times now and overall the atmosphere is great and the food was also very tasty. The service on the other hand is seriously lacking. I sat at a table with my husband and waited 10 minutes without a single acknowledgment. 6 servers walked by that looked right at us and kept walking. I finally got beer at the beer tub. The girl was very friendly so apparently the only employee who seemed to care. Never had a server come to our table so we went to the bar. The bartenders were ok. Don’t ask for a Guiness because you will be shocked by the terrible pour. Ive never been served a guiness that was poured like a bud lt where the glass gets tilt and beer is wasted and served with no head. Also you supposedly cant get a beer in a glass that isn’t chilled. Too bad they can’t find good employees because this bar could easily be five stars.

I lived in Arlington ages ago so I rarely visit unless Pat Baby wants to hang out there for some reason. This Sherlock’s makes me like Arlington even less and less. It’s not the fact that this place is smokey just like the Addison location, or that all of the clientele probably left their children at home to get boozed up at 4pm on a Saturday. No, it wasn’t even the food which was like any typical«Irish» bar that all probably came from the same distributor. Perhaps the staff that lacked any personality whatsoever did the trick. Let me give you the address to Oz so you can wish for a brain. Maybe, just maybe it was because the finest creatures of all of Arlington like to congregate here and infest a perfectly fine location near the stadiums and amusement parks. No, it’s because this, out of all things, is probably the best pub that Arlington has to offer. What a shame.
