Prolase Medispa

I bought a Groupon six months ago for full face laser treatments at a great deal. I just finished my 6^th treatment and I have to say I see amazing results. I still have a couple left to do, but the laser they have is very effective (better than what I have experienced before). Kira and her entire staff are friendly, attentive, caring and courteous. I will definitely continue going to Prolase Medispa and recommend others to go there as well!

I completed 6 sessions of laser hair removal and for sideburns and 5 for my chin. Both did not work. There has been very little to no change.
Nice place, nice ladies, but the treatment didn’t work.

This place is a nightmare!!! Total waste of money! I got a 6 sessions deal from these guys and it was a total waste! Unprofessional and rude people who just blame everything on your skin type. They have a messed up scheduling process which they want to blame that on you as well. You always have to wait at least 15 minutes to get in! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I found Prolase through groupon and I’m glad I did. I had a very effective and relaxing microdermabrasion/​facial by Venera. I definitely plan on going back. The location couldn’t be more convenient!

Kira made me feel comfortable immediately and the technicians are very sweet as well. The treatments are painless too!

I really enjoyed everything about this place!
That was my first experience ever receiving microdermabrasion treatment. My problem was the acne on my face. My wife finally made me go there, and get it done. Thanks to her too!
Briefly speaking, the results were immediate!!! Right after I was finished, I looked at the mirror and was surprised how clean my face was. It felt like I had a baby face, felt so fresh and clean! My face was literally breathing, that was a nice feeling.
It’s been about 10 days since my treatment, and I am still loving my face in the mirror. Seems like the way you look is really important, especially when communicating with other people. Where ever I go, I feel confident and handsome! ;)
The person, who was taking care of my face, was Venera (ask for her!). She was very professional, and I felt so much comfortable while we were discussing my skin problems and the solutions for my particular needs. It is 100% she is passionate about what she does, and that matters a lot!

I been here once. My friends suggest me to go here. That was my first experience to remove hair. I decide to start with underarms.
It’s really good they have weekends appointments and late week days, because most of the places work 9 – 6, they are really professional with appointments, see me on time
I got there, the office manager, really nice lady, explained me everything, since it been my first time I really worry how it goes, I nerved a little
She explained me all the procedure and answer all my questions.
After I got to the treatment room, nice and clean place, the equipment are brand new and high quality.
I did not feel any pain or burning. They gave me some freezing tube to make sure I’m comfortable and don’t feel any burns, I haven’t use it, the procedure took maybe like 5 min and I’m done))
I was so surprised as I expected long and painful procedure .

I had been struggling for too long with my unwanted hair matter. Shaving was so irritating and leaving red bumps. I found temporary solution in waxing, but soon I started suffering from ingrown hair. I’ve heard about laser hair removal, but I always thought it was very expensive and painful… So it’s not!:) My friend advised Prolase Medispa. As she said it was absolutely painless for an affordable price. Now I am their client and I recommend it to everyone I know! Fast, painless and effective treatments! So satisfied!!!

A few things. I had to reschedule my appt and they never made record of it so I left work early to get there and I had to reschedule (although I do like that they are open on wknds). Then, I got a microderm and they scratched my face up– like visible abrasions around my eyes! They also will likely tell you that you need a bunch of services and products for best results. Totally up to each individual I guess on how you feel about that. However, they were very responsive to my concern to try to remedy the situation.

I bought a Groupon for 6 sessions for Brazilian. This was my first time ever getting a laser treatment. The treatment is completely painless, I will give them that. You feel a little burning, but you can hold cool air on it to counteract that.
I just finished my 6^th, and last, session this week. I have not seen any difference in hair growth or thickness at all. This was a complete waste of money. They try to blame it on your hair or skin type, but I know a couple of other people who have gone here as well that are completely different hair/​skin types than I am, and it didn’t work for them either.
Kira also tends to nickel and dime you — charging a $ 35 «rescheduling fee» if you call to reschedule less than 48 hours in advance. Who knows what their no-​show fee would be…
Even by the 3^rd session, I informed them that I wasn’t seeing results. They did nothing to improve or change the process. After my last session, they tried to sell me more because «maybe I’m the type who needs more than 6.»
Save your money and go somewhere legitimate.

Today was my fourth laser appointment with Prolase. The personnel are very professional and friendly (specially Kira). The laser is completely pain free (I could not believe it based on my past experiences not until I tried my first laser appt at prolase). My hair growth has reduced significantly. I am looking forward to get my Pixel here as well, and use their special end of the year discounted hair removal offer for the other part of my body. I am so happy with this place.

This place is wonderful! I started with a groupon for laser hair removal and have now been back to have other areas done as well :) Kira and her staff are great! I have been in contact with Kira for scheduling and my consultation and she is very sweet and informative. The two technicians that I have seen are Marian and Venera and they were both fabulous. Laser hair removal can be a somewhat intimidating experience but these ladies have made the process INCREDIBLY comfortable and easy. The laser is seriously pain free (I almost fell asleep having my legs done). I have already seen a decrease in hair growth in the first area I had done, and I am excited to see the rest over the next weeks and months. Prolase Medispa also has some great discounts and they seem to be very reasonable on price (after comparing with friends who had it done at other places). Hope this helps :)

I bought a Groupon for a package of 6 laser hair removal sessions on a medium area. I am using it on my armpits. I have had two sessions so far and a lot of the hair is already gone. The hair that has grown back it much lighter and less coarse. My armpits were always razor burned from shaving the thick hair, but now they look smooth and almost hairless. I will be coming back here to get other areas done. It was also completely painless. They put a clear gel on the treatment area before using the laser that keeps your skin cool and you cannot feel anything. Also, Kira explains the process very well and is helpful when talking about packages for other areas. I cannot remember the technicians name, but she is also very nice and does a thorough job.

This this that time of my treatment when I can say I’m finally hair free :) had my last treatment with Mariam. It’s was amazing. She was so friendly and we had our laughs :). I loved each experience I had with Kira’s Prolase Medispa. It’s not just a spa for me now, it’s a place where I come to a friend. Highly, highly recommend.

I am a 36 year old African American female who bought a Groupon for laser hair removal. I wanted to target the pesky hairs that keep popping up on my chin. I went for all 6 treatments and did not get good results. The ladies told me that the face has the most stubborn follicles, but I still had hope. However, 6 treatments later and I’m still tweezing.
Kira and her team are great! Pleasant and very professional. I will likely return for other treatments to see if I can have better luck on other areas. The office is clean and comfortable and they always took me back for my treatment quickly.
I only give it 3 stars because it didn’t work for me personally. However, they are very honest and forthcoming about the results. Unfortunately, they happen to be right about mine.

Treatment #5 tomorrow…
This is my first time trying laser hair removal so I have been VERY lenient with my expectations. I also know that it takes a full 6 treatment course before you are done. I have undergone 4 treatments thus far at Prolase (Brazilian) and have yet to see a difference. :(In reading other reviews people are seeing results after the first treatment — that was actually the only time I noticed any hair falling out. When Kira did my first treatment ALOT of hair was falling out. I was very excited to begin the process! However, treatments 2, 3, and 4 have fostered little to no results. I will be going back for my 5^th treatment tomorrow and some of my girlfriends (yes, we share things like this … lol) don’t even believe that I have started the process! :(:(During my last appointment I let Prolase know that I was not seeing any results and they assured me it would be ok and the hair would be gone by the 6^th treatment. I guess I am just comparing my results to others («four sessions at Prolase and I barely have any hair left!» — JEALOUS!). I will update my review after my final treatment.
Three stars for the staff — they are super nice and awesome. Given that you are allowing someone to touch on private areas of your body, you would want to be sure that you are comfortable. Kira and her staff are great. The technology they use is also painless.

This was my first time getting laser hair removal and I have completed four sessions at Prolase and I barely have any hair left! My hair is super coarse and dark so it took about three sessions before I saw a difference, but now its like I never had any hair. Kira and her team are great! Professional, clean and totally painless. I’m going to start another area this winter, I can’t wait!

I had my first of 6 sessions for my bikini line yesterday. While I can’t speak to the results yet, I can say that my experience was very positive. I got there promptly at my appointment time and there was no wait. Kira, the manager, greeted me immediately. We sat in her office for a few minutes where she explained the procedure incredibly thoroughly. She explained what I needed to do to care for the area before and after the procedure and she also took some time to explain the technology being used and the hair removal process so I know what to expect over the next several months. The procedure was very quick and entirely painless (much to my surprise). So needless to say I’m very excited to undergo the rest of the treatments and hopefully I’ll achieve the results that I’m looking for. I will re-​post once the treatment is complete to provide an update.

I have completed two sessions of laser hair removal thus far at this location. Already following the first procedure i noticed a significant reduction and looks like it’s even better after the second one. The laser that is used here is completely painless. Esthetician is very professional and gives detailed explanation of the procedure. Everything is done quickly. Overall I am very pleased with my first hair removal procedure and I give all the credit for my pleasant experience to this spa.

I could not be more satisfied with my experience at this place. The space is well-​located, pristine and inviting. Kira is so sweet, knowledgeable and accommodating. Your comfort during and after treatments is her top priority. NO PAIN!!! I have never left with anything less than a smile on my face and I can honestly say that I look forward to my treatments as they are always filled with great chats and personalized, top-​notch treatment. I will continue to recommend Prolase Medispa to my friends. Great place!!!
