Best laser hair removal in the DMV. They are always on time and seem very knowledgeable and professional with your satisfaction in mind. Cindy has always been upfront and honest about what I need to get optimal results at a reasonable price. I plan to get all of my touch-​ups through her on an as-​need basis.
Also tried the VI Peel, it took years off my face in a matter of a few days. Never even knew it existed before going here.

Not exactly easy to admit you are a hairy chick, but it’s incredibly easy to say how great my experience has been at Renew Laser & Skin. I’m already noticing results, which is beyond amazing. This is not just another laser center– equipment is state of the art and the service is exceptional. Nalini is a wonderful provider. She’s kind, thoughtful and very respectful especially when you are feeling embarassed. She also seems very experienced as she knew exactly the proper setting for my skin and hair type to ensure effective results but in the safest manner possible. I will definitely return to cont my treatments!

If you’re thinking of getting your armpit hair lasered off, this is the place to go. I bought a Groupon for 6 sessions on a medium area, and after the 2^nd treatment, I already began to notice results. However, I still have 3 more sessions left so it’s not quite done yet.
Make sure you shave the night before your appointment and don’t wear deodorant. If you wait until the day of to shave, it hurts a lot more because the skin is so raw.
The staff is very professional and extremely flexible with scheduling. I like that I can call after 6pm and still speak with the technician. They even respond to text messaging!
Finally, if you’re like me and take the bus to get everywhere, the 3A stops dead in front of the office. Look for a sign in the town house window that says Renew Laser and Skin.

Wow this is the best laser facial I’ve had in … Ever. The technician was extremely friendly and professional from application to suggesting aftercare. And the results were amazing! I visited the Columbia location which was small and professional; much preferred to commercial medi-​spas. I highly recommend!

I was a little fearful after Sapna left as I had to start treatment with a whole new person and wasn’t sure if they would be able to laser properly or make me feel as comfortable. THANKFULLY, all those fears were in my head because Nalini (the new Sheriff in town) came to the rescue. It only took one session for me to get comfortable and to see what a great job she does. I was impressed with how easily she transitioned to this new position and was updated on her client’s charts.
I love that Nalini always sends a reminder text/​call before my appointment. She is very accommodating to my schedule and always has a big smile on her face, no matter how hectic of a day she had. She always walks you through the process and goes above and beyond to properly care for you. I don’t know about other people but I’m not a glutton for punishment so the quicker my laser sessions goes, the better! I have and will continue to recommend her to all my friends. You will not be sorry. She is worth the time and money.
This place is clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly. I can’t imagine going to any other place. I have been coming here for years and you will not find a better spot with such great prices and deals.

SO HAPPY! Don’t wince at the price, because you really do get what you pay for. I’m currently going through underarms, upper lip and chin. After ONE session, it is noticeably different! (I have thick, black coarse hair). Just a heads up, the laser here does sting a lot more than other places, but the results are better as well. I’m trying to be brave and add a full brazilian to the mix. The technician is so nice and talks you through everything.

As usual, I’m so glad I consulted Unilocal for my very first experience with laser hair removal. Sapna was out of town so Nalini did the procedure. She was so friendly and put me at ease. I was terrified and almost about to back out. She was honest about Brazilian being the most painful of all laser hair removal areas but it wasn’t that bad. And she was fast in the best way possible. Also told me when she was halfway done and ¾ of the way done which was nice. In any case, I was at ease, felt like it was a medical procedure and thoroughly satisfied.

Absolutely would recommend Sapna! I think she is very knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and gives quality service. I had 6 sessions and they were all so fast and easy. I am so happy I visited her she had made my life so much easier and had no side effects. My hair is almost completely gone! Sapna is awesome: she is friendly, professional and honest. This was my first time with laser hair removal and she explained and shared every detail with me, including pros and cons for my particular situation. I was planning a pregnancy back then and she was very clear about the nice results related to my skin type but also the eventuality to stop the treatment in case I got pregnant and the possibility for the hair to come back because of the hormones swings. Well, I had 5 treatments (legs and bikini), then I got pregnant and she recommended to stop: my hair has completely gone, just stubborn in the bikini area. I’m breastfeeding now, so my hormones might still be not regular, but the outcome was exactly how she had told me. She was very careful during the treatments. I am very satisfied with the professional outcome but I also want to say that she is a nice and kind person. You can reach her on her phone via mail or text and she always answers when you have doubts or questions. Prices are honest and better than in other places I had checked out before finding her. Definitely 5 stars!

I’ve just completed my first three sessions at Renew and I am extremely satisfied. Sapna is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. As an African American, I’ve heard scary stories about the damaging effects of laser hair removal on brown skin but I have had nothing but positive results since becoming a customer. After only three sessions, the hair is almost completely gone and I’ve experienced ZERO negative side effects. The prices are Renew are also A LOT more reasonable than other places. I have a friend paying $ 175 PER SESSION for the same area. I paid less than that for THREE! Just be warned, laser hair removal HURTS… but being hair free is definitely worth it.

The results are amazing! I’m 5 sessions in and I’ve seen a tremendous reduction in hair growth if there’s still any hair growth at all. I’ve been to many laser hair removal places but this is by far the best results I’ve seen. Appointments are easy to schedule. I like that she can be reached via text. Flexible with packages. Sapna is very friendly. I love the cooling air with the laser, makes a difference.

I was initially apprehensive about starting my underarm laser hair removal sessions after hearing so many negative and painful experiences from friends (at other locations) but from my very first meeting with Sapna she quickly put me at ease and I have never had anything but a 5 star appointment with her.

okay, on to my results. I am happy to say that after a few visits I am hair free! I got the laser treatment done on my legs, under arms, upper lip, and brazilian. I’ve been going to Renew for laser hair removal. Like the previous reviewer said, Sapna is very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. She works one weekend every month, which is a big help since I can’t make it during the week because of work.
I’m only a few sessions in, but am loving the results so far. Give it a try!

I bought a groupon or livingsocial for this place for laser hair removal. The owner, Sapna, was very friendly, easy going and honest. She’s very knowledgeable as well, I believe her background is a Physicians Assistant. I wanted to do a spot treatment for a red spot on my face, and instead of trying to do it herself, she referred me to someone she knew was capable of doing so. This is a cute, small spot and I can definitely recommend it for laser hair removal. I know they do skin treatments and spray tans as well.
