Inova Medical – Ballston

I came to this office around 4pm the other day. I figured that service might be a bit slow or delayed. Oh my, it did. The free water bottles were a nice touch but front desk was rude and terse. It took me about 30 minutes to see my doctor. Within 5 minutes they did my test and rushed me out the door. I didn’t even know what my diagnosis was! I had to find out what it was from my sheet. It seemed like the doctor was far more concerned with getting home at 5 rather than my health. My diagnosis was pretty serious and the doctor didn’t take any time for questions or explained what I even had. Was thoroughly unimpressed and I will not be seeing the doctors here again.

Come to this office for the blood test at 13:00 and the receptionist said we have to come back at 14:00 or can sit and wait till the lab technician come back after lunch :(what up with the office still open and not ready to serve? Not cool at all :(

There are few times in my life that I have needed to see a physician and not been able to wait… This office was rude when I arrived, made me sit in the office and allow others to go ahead of me even while my appointment time passed and then told me my appointment was cancelled after they had allowed others to go ahead of me. I had a rapidly spreading rash (no rash to all over my body) overnight and desperately needed to be seen. The «office manager» told me she had been directed by be nurse for Dr. Randi Kodroff to cancel my appointment as she would not be able to see me. It must be nice to be able to turn away patients because you’re so busy… Oh wait, isn’t there an oath or something you take for this?
I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend this practice to anyone unless you have all day to sit around and wait to be seen. It’s one thing to be 10 minutes behind, it’s another to make a patient wait 1:45 to then be turned away. The best part-​the office manager told me the Urgent Care Center on he first floor would be able to assist me. To the tune of $ 200 vs my $ 20 copay at the primary care offices.
Again, save yourself and DO NOT make this practice your primary care doctor.

This place needs 10 stars. The whole team is absolutely amazing, professional, friendly. I highly recommend my physician Dr Bao Vo, extremely knowledgeable, caring, detailed oriented. Working myself as a health professional I set my expectations really high and definitely he surpasses it.
I really appreciate also the lady on the call center who took time to fit me in their busy schedule when I was needed to be seen by a physician. Every other place I called make you wait for minimum 2 – 3 weeks to be seen as a new patients.

Dr. Vo is great! Friendly staff, very clean, modern, and organized. Great because they are part of the robust Inova system! Convenient street parking on N. Vermont, or underground, access in the back, via 11^th Street.
