History
Established in 2013.
The owner, Joyce Plath, has lived in this Victorian home for over thirty years, She reared her children here, maintained a design office in the front room, and created an environment that welcomed the community for years. She furnished the house with local art, hand blown glass lamps, and wonderful furniture, fabrics, masks, and books purchased with fair trade from all over the world.

Joyce P.
Business Owner
Ms. Plath holds masters degrees in Architecture and Art. She has studied, traveled and taught in SE Asia, India, South America and most recently Southern Africa. She is committed to a three part bottom line… social justice, environmental justice, and a profit that is shared transparently with all those who work at The Redwood Lily. With the opening of her home at a guesthouse she has created a place that is both worldly and welcoming.
