Cadny Computer Repair

My Mac was slowly getting ill and then finally would not start up. I took it to Ed at CADNY and within seconds of merely listening to my computer he knew exactly what was wrong. He quoted me a very fare price (much better than other places in town) and within a week it was up and running. He was very friendly, professional, and delivered everything and more. I had a couple of questions afterwards and he was quick to respond with exactly what I needed. For computer repairs, I will never go anywhere else.

We have several desktop computers and laptops and have tried all the big names inn town and have been very disappointed. Ed was the last one left to us so we decided to give him a try and when one of our desktops needed attention. Ed took our desktop, did some trouble shooting and thought we had taken care of the problem. We paid a reasonable price for the repairs. Unfortunately the problem that we experienced returned. Ed took it back, rediagnosed the problem and sold us the necessary parts at his cost. With no extra labor. This was extremely fair. the problem seems to be taken care of and we think we have found our honest and competent repair guy from here on out. thank you Ed

I had an old Macbook I was considering revitalizing and wanted some advice on whether it would be worth spending money on. I looked around online for a good place to go and found two places in town. CADNY had great reviews on here as well as google so I decided to go with them.
Ed is the owner and met with me despite the short notice (he usually only does appointments). I found him to be friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me a free estimate on what it would cost to fix up my Mac. He told me my Mac was useable if I replaced the battery and pointed out it would run slow due to it’s age (something I had noticed). The computer would need replacing after a year or two though because the OS would become unsupported by Apple. He quoted me $ 75 – 100 for a new battery and power cord (my power cord had died long ago). Great price IMO!
His advice was straight forward and his dogs he had in his office were super sweet. Overall, I really liked his service and would recommend anyone go to him. He’s honest, nice, and fair.

Works on PC and Mac. You won’t find a more knowledgeable guy than Ed. He’s helpful, and promptly returns calls. I wouldn’t go anywhere else as long as I can call CADNY. Even the name is good: Computer are Dumb, Not You!

Ed knows what he’s talking about. He’s helpful, friendly, and an all around good guy. He fixed my laptop for a good fee and gave me info about how to keep my lappy healthy and running.

BEST COMPUTER REPAIR IN ARCATA. Ed will save your old computer if it’s savable. He just replaced the monitor on my laptop. I was really afraid that I would have to buy a new computer. He ordered a new LCD screen and installed it. The charge was only $ 200 certainly cheaper than replacing the laptop. He has done work on my desk top as well. He will come to your house if need be.
