Description

Specialties

Our practice areas are Family Law, Estate Planning, and Probate and Trust Administration.

Our estate planning practice includes the drafting of living trusts and wills, along with all the other documents that are necessary for an effective estate plan. This kind of planning will cover your needs when you die, or when you become incapacitated, which is an event that most people don’t prepare for. After death, we administer probate and trust estates, and deal with litigation as necessary.

A large part of our practice since we opened in 1997 is Family Law (contested and uncontested divorce, mediation, child custody, child and spousal support).

In the 18 years our office has been open, we have helped our clients with ongoing custody and support issues, and have seen clients transition from helping them go through a bankruptcy, to forming an estate plan after they get back on their feet. We enjoy being there for our clients as their lives evolve.

History

Established in 1997.

We have been located in the same building since we opened in 1997.

Our training, education and experience have served us well as lawyers. However, there is more to our law firm — we take great pride in our commitment to individualized personal service for all of our clients. We offer free initial consultations, and house calls for meetings with our less mobile clients. We are also able to handle clients who speak Mandarin or Taiwanese.

We want to make it as convenient as possible for you to speak with us about matters that are so important to you. We hope our client-centered approach to family law and estate planning makes you feel comfortable about contacting us again if you or someone you care about is in need of legal representation.

Business Owner

The lawyers and staff who make up Morris & Morris are not that different from the people we represent. We encounter the same highs and lows and we share the same desire for happy and healthy families.

Since the founding of our San Gabriel Valley law firm in 1997, those common interests have only served to reinforce our belief in what we do. We have children of our own and we can identify with both the difficulties and the benefits of raising a family in Southern California. We can help you ensure that your children are provided for whether it involves child support considerations in a divorce or estate planning that is tailored to your needs and desires.

On the weekends my law partner, who is also my wife, and I regularly ride on local streets and trails to train for an 8 day long bicycle tour of 525 miles down the California coast. We have been supporting the Arthritis Foundation for the past two years raising funds and awareness for this California Coast Classic bicycle tour.
