This «law office» is terrible. They take advantage of people who haven’t had any need for a lawyer before. They will charge you a flat fee which sounds like it’s good until you realize how little work your assigned lawyer does. We got Shannon. He seemed very inexperienced, and had too many cases he was dealing with at the same time. He gave our urgent case so little attention it made the situation worse. We needed immediate legal action to help protect us, but nothing was done for over 2 months!!! Unacceptable!
When action was finally taken we had to meet him at the court house 10 min before we were scheduled for our court appearance to «go over our case». We only met met two times in the 2 months it had taken. Once at the office when we first went and paid, and then again at the court house. This is NOT okay. We had been trying to meet with him several times as this case was very time sensitive and need to be handled with extreme urgency, but he was always too busy to meet with us or take out phone call.
Make sure you don’t sign anything or give them any money until you get in writing how long they will take, how often you can meet them, get your assigned lawyers personal phone number, and MAKE SURE you don’t meet with some undereducated legal aide who tries desperately to make it seem like she’s a lawyer.
We had two cases against one person, a civil and a criminal case, but the civil case was going to take entirely too long and this office was unequipped to handle such a case. It took MONTHS and constant pestering and multiple visits after the fact to get a refund. These people just want your money and won’t help you.
Don’t not use this place if you want a terrible experience in a time of crisis.

I was represented by Sherwin Amazan and we won our case. I met with Sherwin after speaking with Lateel, the case manager, whom I might add is excellent when it comes to servicing all your needs and addressing any concerns, any time of day… my first encounter with the team was a great experience. My case is a bit complex and I had some concerns on the criminal side of things and both gentleman called in additional team members to ensure all my questions were answered and I was getting the proper «legal» advise/​feedback. I was comfortable with Sherwin and Lateel right away. Sherwin is always in court and I guess I would say that’s the probably the kind of lawyer you would want to retain. :) Lateel was always happy to answer all my questions in his absence. Overall great team, great people! I’m excited to have my kids back. Thank you!!!

I find it very disconcerting that some give this office excellent reviews when this office LOST EVERY hearing against the respondent who had NO lawyer. 4 generations of our family has been emotionally, physically & financially DESTROYED by this LOSER firm!

Mr davis is a great man and he is highly skilled he has had my case for 4 mouths and I have had meeting on how to get this though this Mr davis is very insuring that he doing everything I have had progress and I because I was patient I am sure that mr. Davis will win my case and so I give him 5 I trust him full

Mr. Davis represented me and he did an excellent job. He is very good at what he does, and I would highly recommend him. In court, he is very very good; and what I really like about Mr. Davis is that he is so responsive to my calls and texts (yes, all his clients have his personal mobile number and he would answer my texts when I had emergencies after hours and on weekends.) I HIGHLY recommend him in legal matters when you have to go to court.

This is a little late coming because I’ve been putting this part off as I normally don’t write reviews. However, I feel the need to warn the individuals out there who like me aren’t use to dealing with a law office. I say «law office» because at no point did I actually interact with a lawyer.
I contacted them after googling for tax lawyers for my father. I found this office close to my area, called and spoke to John. He was a complete salesman and I fell for every word because i was completely ignorant about the issue. I sent my dad up to their office he signed the retainer and that was us saying bye bye to $ 3,500. We were assigned an «audit expert», not a lawyer, but I went with the flow. I figured this stuff takes time, so I waited, my father less patient, would call and ask for a status update. Every phone call would cost him a fraction of a fee, I assume lawyer’s fee, but if someone at the office wants to correct me they can; even though we never spoke to a lawyer. I eventually had to call and get some clarification. They explained to me what was going on and what they had done and what was needed, and the last correspondence was that we were waiting for a response from the IRS auditor. At this point nothing has happened and many more thousands have been collected…
Eventually my father grew tired of paying them for no status update or result and cancelled the service. And eventually, I had to go with him to the IRS office where the auditor told me they had NOT received anything from the law office. And eventually, we were able to deliver to the auditor what she had requested.
In a perfect world, I would hope they would return some of that money we paid them for not doing anything, but we don’t…so I wanted to share my experience; felt robbed.

Vincent Davis might be a great attorney, but I never got the opportunity find out. I never got past the front office or the retainer paperwork. My husband spoke with Gio (legal assistant) in their office and ostensibly had a great conversation — when I called back two days later and left a message, Gio called me back. I asked about my case, he was annoyed that he had to talk to me, after already explaining the particulars of the case to my husband. The reason I knew he was annoyed was b/​c he repeated it to me, FIVE TIMES. «Like I said, I already told your husband this the other day, did he not mention the conversation?» «Do the two of you talk? You live under the same roof right?» I replied, «Yes, he mentioned it, but I would like to talk about the details too». I still sort of wonder why he made such a big deal about that, who knows — and honestly when you’re in need of legal services, you have bigger worries on your mind.
After the fifth time he told me that he already explained this to my husband, and insisting that he emailed us the retainer (which he didn’t) I told him he had a lousy bedside manner (wrong profession I know — but he might take a look at the hippocratic oath and take a note.) and ended the call.
Ten minutes later, realizing that he screwed up, he called back, admitting their office didn’t send the retainer paper work over, «but let’s get past that and get to the solution» funny since when it was insinuated that I had made an error, and I said let’s just get past it, he decided to rake me over the coals about it FIVE TIMES. Does this sound like an office you want to work with?
But hold on, I’m not done. I eventually received the retainer paperwork, and the fee was almost double what was discussed on the phone. I ended up emailing the front office back and writing them outright what the actual discussed fee was (discreet right?), so they could change the paperwork since communicating with Gio wasn’t getting it done. The revised paperwork however, didn’t entail what precisely the fee included labor-​wise on the attorney’s end, and THAT was the major red flag to me. Signing a contract for an attorney’s service should give a breakdown of what said attorney will be doing for their client, not what they «would do, or what it MIGHT include». Too vague. Bottom line, the language in the retainer wasn’t transparent in the flat fee model I received.
I decided to drop the matter, and not get locked into another debate with Gio. Then he started calling me. Over and over. Then? HE LOOKED UP MY MOTHER’S PHONE NUMBER, AND CALLED HER AT NIGHT AT HOME ASKING HER FOR THE MONEY. Unilocalers beware, if you mention someone as a possible guarantor, they will find them and start asking them for the money.

Just finished a case with Vincent Davis representing in a legal case. He is an excellent attorney. He is skilled, forthright and honest. I will be forever grateful and fortunate that we were able to hire him for representation. Highly recommend Vincent Davis and his law office.

Mr. Davis was great. I had a CPS case and he got kids back go my home. He was awesome in court, he stood up to the social worker’s attorney and persuased the judge to give me back the kids. He and his office always, kept in touch with me. I highly recommend him and his office
