History

Established in 1975.

On a cold day in the winter of 1975, Wright Tire Service opened its doors in Anoka at a gas station that was unable to survive in the tough economy at the time. Tom Wright, the owner, was in charge of the tire department (and everything else), we hired a top tech to work on alignments, tune-​ups and deal with other mechanical issues. The first few months were difficult. But we were blessed and survived the first year. The business grew and we added four more bays with doors large enough to service motorhomes and other large vehicles and add a larger showroom. We added a few more employees, made it through a few crises (a couple big recalls, etc.) we were able to survive them all thanks to the Lord and by taking good care of our customers which to us means selling them the parts and products they need for a safe and better performing car and nothing more. We also added an outside salesman who helped us increase our sales to utility companies, national accounts and farmers.
