My neighbor recommended this place because I only needed one tire. From the time I pulled in until the time I pulled out of the lot it took 15 minutes. It was cheap and the employees are so friendly and know what they are doing. Great experience!

If you need tires or tire repair I can heartily recommend Tire Zoo in Anoka! I had a slow leak and took the granny-​mobile in for a patch. I was prepared to just replace the tires because of some seemingly unsolvable vibration. (I’ve taken them in to Sears a couple of times for re-​balancing and there was still a bit of shimmy.) Tire Zoo was fast, honest, and affordable. They talked me out of replacing the tires and offered an alternate solution for the vibration since the tread is still in great shape. They did not charge me for re-​mounting a second tire, AND their patch was $ 5 less than what Sears charged me for one on a different tire this winter. A+, Tire Zoo!

In response to Charles’ review about poor customer service, I think I met the two men he is referring to when I was there today. No, they are not polished, smooth-​talking, tidily uniformed service providers. The man in the beanie is the one who did the work on my car’s tires while a third gentleman, Jeremy, checked all four tires’ tread and talked to me about how to handle the shimmy I feel at and above 65 mph. Jeremy made great eye contact and was very nice about explaining his suggested solution. He could have EASILY sold me on two new tires. He didn’t. He was honest and told me that despite some cupping (my fault for letting a needed shock repair go) the tread was in great shape and did not yet need to be replaced.
I think the shop guys are good at what they do despite not having very good social skills. From my perspective, it seemed like the shop intentionally has the guys who are good at getting the work done, just do the work while the guy who enjoys customer interaction, Jeremy, acted as mediator between myself and the shop staff. Maybe the guy in the beanie WAS having a hard day when Charles was there. Maybe he felt like Charles was being rude and he got defensive. Maybe he’s hard of hearing, autistic, or is just intensely shy. It doesn’t really matter why he is so bristly. He works hard in a seasonally hot/​cold, dirty, noisy shop and and he does a good job. I won’t let his admittedly off-​putting manners prevent me from using them instead of Sears for my tires and tire repairs into the future.

They are quick and to the point when it comes to getting things done. I have my winter/​summer tires swapped here and I’m always in and out in brief time. The price is reasonable as well!

I’ve been coming to tire zoo to get good cheap used tires and tire repair since I was in highschool; my dad has been going here even longer. I have never had a bad experience, they always go above and beyond to make sure you get out of there safe and in a timely manner. Every time they tell me 15 – 20 minutes, I only end up waiting about 8 or 10.
A whole back they noticed a few wrong sized lug nuts were on my tire, so they replaced them free of charge.
Once again I cannot stress how easy they are to work with and fast.
