History

Established in 2009.

East Main Tire & Auto has a long history in downtown Anoka. Originally opened as a corporate Goodyear location in 1970, the store has gone through many changes. The most recent change occurred in June of 2009 when two employees purchased the location to achieve their dreams of becoming the premier repair facility in the Anoka area. Brad Fulwider and Mike Gieseke Jr. are committed to customer service, value and repairing vehicles correctly with integrity. This may sound far fetched in this day and age, but they would not do it any other way. No matter what your vehicle needs are, East Main Auto & Tire can handle it. Need a ride home or to work, we can take care of it within a five mile radius. All service is backed by a 12-month /12,000 mile warranty with some parts backed by a 50,000 mile warranty. Call today to ask questions or schedule an appointment, you won’t be disappointed.

Meet the Business Owner

Mike G. and Brad F.

Business Owner

Mike Gieseke Jr. and Brad Fulwider purchased the full automotive service center and independent Goodyear dealership from Gieseke’s father, Mike Gieseke Sr. in June 2009.

Gieseke Jr. worked for the past 18 years at the Arden Hills shop currently owned by his father. He started cleaning the shop and eventually became a Certified Master Technician. There he met Fulwider, who comes from a small town in Wisconsin, and the two worked together for 10 years. In January 2009, Fulwider had moved to East Main Auto and Tire to manage the shop for Gieseke Sr. Despite the challenge of opening a new business in a tough economy, both Gieseke and Fulwider are loving being self-employed.

«We do everything from bumper to bumper,» he said. «Our goal is to be the best, not the biggest, but ‘the shop’ in the area. It’s not business as usual, it’s a whole new old approach.»
