Pop-​A-​Lock was started in 1994 by two police officers that observed a need for automotive unlocking as emergency responders performed these services less and less due to increased complexity and potential for damage.

Today Pop-​A-​Lock is an international full service locksmith serving over 4500 cities for all of you Automotive, Residential and Business locksmith needs.

What an absolutely professional and top notch service with Pop-​A-​Lock, out of Ann Arbor! Was hitting dead ends with every call that I made to try and find a locksmith to come to the rescue with my daughter’s car ignition, and NO one could come out and fix the problem… That is until I found Pop-​A-​Lock in Ann Arbor on my internet search… No more than a few seconds after I placed the call for help, Steve promptly returned my call and put me at ease immediately, saying that he can respond and fix the issue… We set up a time to meet at the disabled car, and he called ahead of time to let me know that he was enroute… My daughter’s ignition is now fixed and I was shocked at how inexpensive it was! Thanks Pop-​A-​Lock and Steve!!! Will refer anyone and everyone your way without hesitation!!!

Our wireless garage entry keypad failed and we were locked out after taking a walk! Pop-​a-​lock was out to us quickly and had us inside the house in no time. I hope I never have to use their service again, but certainly wouldn’t hesitate to call them again should I need to.

Took a chance and used a business with no reviews. This guy was great! Maybe he’s new and doesn’t have reviews yet, but I can guarantee he’s going to have a lot of 5 star reviews soon enough. He was super polite, showed up in like 20min, was extremely well priced, and totally professional, and emailed me my receipt before he left the house! It was a pleasure doing business with you!

You won’t find anyone nicer or more professional than these guys. I bought a 3rd party car key and took it to my dealership. The dealer could cut the key, but not program the buttons. The 3rd party gave me a hard time about having the dealer handle it instead of a ‘professional’ auto locksmith. Enter Pop-​A-​Lock. They came to me and determined that the key was indeed defective. Since they could not program the key, they did not charge for the call — not fair for them, but great for me. I decided to have them obtain a new key for me — which they did to perfection — first time — no hassle. And their rates are excellent. They more than just auto keys — I would not hesitate to use them for any of my lock requirements.
