There are a lot of reviews from Landlords, but not many from tenants here — so I thought I’d chime in from a tenant perspective. We lived in a home managed by APG for nearly 3 years. Shane and Phil were always amazing to us! Quick with maintenance requests, related any messages/​requests to owners quickly, and even helped us find a new place and get the most of our security deposit back after our owners sold the home and we had to move. Phil and Shane care about their renters too, and always took care of us. I HIGHLY recommend going through this property management company as a renter — paying rent is easy online, maintenance requests are done online and answered that day/​next day. Thanks for everything APG!

As a renter, having a good and reliable property management company is important. APG Properties has been consistently professional, friendly and quick to respond to any problems that may arise. I have dealt with these guys for one year and they have not been disappointing. I am happy to renew my lease knowing that that I will continue to have these guys manage the property.

I’d like to give a huge shout out to Phil at APG Properties! I was looking to lease a 2 bedroom condo for my daughter and myself and came upon an open house for a property I was interested in viewing. Phil hosted the open house and was very friendly and accommodating. I ended up loving the place and wanted to apply. APG Properties makes the process very easy for you to complete the application process online. Phil was always available for any questions/​concerns I had along the way. I was extremely happy when I was selected to lease the condo. Upon meeting Phil to sign the lease documents, he makes the experience pleasant and fun! He is a straight shooter about everything you need to know and has a great sense of humor.
We have lived in our condo for 4 months now and love it! Phil and APG have been great to have as Property Managers, always responding promptly to inquires and taking care of anything that needs to be done.
I hope to live here for awhile and if in the future we need to move, I would definitely use the service of APG Properties again. Thank you Phil and APG!

worst company Ive ever delt with. I spoke with a homeowner directly and they agreed to lease his property to me and He had me call these clowns to get everything finalized. they don’t answer the phone EVER I left 5 voicemails over 7 days and have received no call back. If your a homeowner, they dont deserve your business.

I’ve been renting through APG Properties for many years now and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service that they have provided me with the home that I’m renting through them. The staff has always been very courteous and quick to respond to any of my concerns with the home. I really like the fact that when repairs have been needed for the home, they have always sent out very professional and qualified contractors to perform the repairs that were needed. I’ve rented through other management companies in the past and I’ve had my share of messy and rude repair men coming over and doing a terrible job. I truly believe that APG really cares about the quality of living for their tenants. I would highly recommend APG Properties to any tenants or owners that are looking for a management company!

APG has managed our rental home in Fullerton for almost 2 years. Phil did great work to secure excellent tenants for us, and at a very competitive rent. The best thing I can say about their service is that I almost never have to think about the state of our property, and if I have any question they are always responsive and courteous. Assuming we continue to hold on to the house as an investment, I am 100% serious when I say I plan to be in business with them for the rest of my life.

I have been with APG for ~4 years and the service has been great! Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a property mgmt company. They manage my condo and take care of everything from the tenants, items that need to be fixed and comps in the area for rent increases. These guys do a fantastic job and I have ZERO complaints.

My experience with APG was A+. Shane and Phil were great in our rental experience. Always great with communication and the rental we had was a great home. Only reason we are not still with APG is that we decided to buy a house. When I decide to rent out my own home I will surely have them manage it for me.

Horrible company to deal with as a renter. Here’s a few issues:
1. They don’t pick up their phone 95% of the time.
2. They advertise an open house and decide not to show up on the day and time of. (There were also 3 other couples that were there due to their scheduling).
3. They said it was because it was rented out. However, I spoke with a worker there yesterday (Thursday) and they said a decision hasn’t been made yet and to come on down. If a decision was made 24 hrs earlier, the ad on their PERSONAL WEBSITE should have been changed to match their decision.
We planned our whole week around this «open house» only to find out they do business like this. What a joke.

My wife and I started our search for a new home because we needed a bigger place with more rooms. We searched several listings and called the contact on the ones that seemed to fit with us. A lot of property owners had agents who would find tenants for their properties. Most of the agents we spoke to were very curt, rude, and not very helpful at all. The agents we spoke to seemed as if we were bothering them and spoke very condescending to us.
Then we met Shane at APG Properties. He was not like any of the other agents we had to deal with. He was nice to us, talked to us like we were people and answered all of our questions. Shane was very personable and we had to commend him on the manner in which he spoke with us and the way he treated us. Throughout the process of applying for the property we also spoke to Phil at APG Properties. He too was very nice and helpful and had good customer service. Both Shane and Phil were very responsive to us and seemed to understand that it is important to have a good relationship with the people you are going to have to do business with for a long period of time.
We did get a call from a property owner for a place that we were not expecting to be able to move into so we didn’t end up using APG Properties after all. We called Phil and told him and he was very congratulatory and happy for us. Even though we didn’t end up having a business relationship with them Phil thanked us and wished us well. If I ever need to use a property management company or if I or anyone I know are ever looking for a place I will always look to and recommend Shane and Phil at APG Property Management.

Turning over the care and management of my family home takes a special person and company. We first purchased the house in 1964 brand spanking new. After years and years of memories, the ownership shifted to me. I live in San Diego so I needed someone who could be hands on locally.
Phil is so professional– he ensured that the house is rented by a family who really cares for it and is taking good care of it! Whenever there is an issue– it has already been researched and several options are presented.
The financial part is seemless ! I’m very happy to recommend this management company and would really like to acknowledge Phil!

We have used them for a 4plex and a house rental and I can say this team is very good. They have never disappointed and I can highly recommend Phil and Shane.

It is great to find a professional service with personal attention. APG Properties has been just that. I hired them to manage our family property and have not been disappointed. This is a great property management organization. Very professional with that hometown spirit. In particular Phil yates is an awesome manager and I would recommend him and APG to anyone looking to rent.

If I could give them a 10 star I would. Phil and APG have been managing my wife’s condo since she moved in with me and her old roommate moved out. We thought about listing in and doing it on our own, what a mistake that would have been! They are extremely affordable and they take care of everything. We went on our honeymoon over the Xmas — New Years holiday when they had just started listing the place, they got it rented before we got back. The renters have been amazing, they do a great job screening!
Anything that goes wrong they have a reliable handyman that comes and fixes things under a set price and it just gets deducted from the rent they send you every month. Rent transfers into our account are always on time!
We couldn’t be happier, and we would refer them to anyone even considering renting a place!

awesome management! I rented an Apt in OC that was a great price and they still handled the few problems I had very quickly. Phil is very professional and personable at the same time. Favorite property management EVER! We were very happy at the move out as well. They didn’t rape us for every little nick in the paint as most of the places have in our past. Very fair on the charges and prorated rent. Highly recommended!

So far… so good! We’re renting out our parents house in Anaheim. Phil showed up on time… had all his facts in a row. Was very helpful scheduling some of the work that needed to be done. So… unless something happens between now and tomorrow… we’ll probably sign the contract to handle the house.
I’ll update if things change. but…in this business saying what you’re going to do… and …doing what you say you will… goes a long way!

They are the managers for my apartment and they are great. We had an overnight water emergency and they had someone out ASAP to get it fixed. Every time we have any questions they are quick to respond with a solution not just more questions. I can’t say enough about them, they are the best.
