Lido Property Management

If you want a property management company who is unorganized and unprofessional, then this is the one. One of their employees Rose made a huge scene in the office with me and my girlfriend while she called her a liar. We were approved on the place and were told to come in on a Monday, then when we got there she told us she gave it to the next applicant because we never brought the money to the on-​site manager over the weekend. When we called the on-​site manager, over speaker phone in the office, she said we were never supposed to bring the money to her and that we were supposed to handle everything with the office. which is exactly what we thought we were doing. Rose was extremely rude and unprofessional to us, walked in the back and couldnt even look us in the face and explain anything. Then when we call today to try and have credit reports fowarded she hangs up on us over and over and over until finally someone else answers.
Worst employee of the year award goes to Rose from Lido Property Management! yay!

Rose is the most unprofessional & immature employee I’ve ever met! When I tried to get ahold of someone today at Lido to send my credit reports to a new, more respectful & professional property management company, she kept hanging up on me. Over and over and over. I literally had to call about six times before someone else finally answered the phones. Who hired this woman? Honestly that’s the most childish thing I’ve ever seen a grown woman do, and she’s supposed to be a professional.
Only reason I got anything handled was because of the sweet girl Jennifer in the front who tried her best to make things right. THAT is real customer service.

Leonel was the leasing agent for the property I have recently leased. Not only was he extremely helpful but was very professional. He answered all my calls and responded

For a couple months my fiancé and I have been looking for a new apartment and I had taken a personal interest in lido management because of their professionalism and to the dot management ! I had the pleasure of working with Leonel he always answered my calls and any questions I had and always had a very welcoming Demeanor. Not to mention the management service itself is very quick we submitted our applications with the lowest application fees I’ve seen on a Monday and got approved the next day.
Both The representatives at the office and the field agent Leonel were very courteous and helpful answering any questions and addressing any concerns through the whole process.
Can’t be any more happy with our new home !

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS AGENCY. I applied for an apartment in the Lakewood area by the country club. The property manager there Donna took my application and my money. The next day she calls and informed us that someone else had applied before us. how is that possible the ad was not even online? she said the person took it directly to LIDO to process the credit. i was not happy about this. well she gave me my money back and we keep looking. 2 weeks latter I noticed the sigh was still up and decided to pay her a call. come to find out the apartment is still for rent, she said the previous applicant backed off. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt on this one. Well i said i wanted the apartment and you turned down my application. That i know of agencies not only take one applicant right? well it seem fishy from there, but I like the apartments and I decided to apply one more time. Now let me tell you I had never seen this unit I just like the other units i had seen but she said the one I was going to rent was not ready I still decided to apply again. once again she took my money. gave her our check stubs on a Friday, she said no later than Wednesday i’ll have an answer. Everything went south from there… Wednesday arrived. during the day I called she said they have not called me yet i will inform you as soon as possible. Friday arrived still no word from Donna. I called her again no answer, so left a message the day went by and she never returned my call. my mother in law which also has been helping me tru all my process of finding an apartment also called her, Donna had no problem answering her. Well long story short this lady never answer me or return any of my calls but she will answer my Mother in law, I was so livid and this points its already Monday and we had no idea about the credit application and no answer from Donna. One week went by and still nothing. I was so mad and so was my husband. We decided to just cancel the process we would not like to deal with a property manager who acts that way and its so irresponsible. I called her and of course she never answer. on a Monday 2 weeks later she finally picked up my called and i informed her of my decision and told her I ended my money back. she said its not my problem call LIDO… And that’s another sad pathetic story of poor customer service and poor service offered by this agency. I spoke to Rose, she seemed nice and all at first, she said i will be getting back to you when my manager sees and approves this. well few days came by and called Rose, she did not know nothing. NOW its about a month since I contacted them and I still have not hear from Mike which i left several messages for and no answer this is suppose to be a supervisor? WOW I spoke with Isabel and rose once again and I had to explain her my issue AGAIN for the 100^th time to Rose. what is this company doing? This is not the way you do business, The same exact thing is happening to my cousin who did not listen to me and applied for the same apartment building… 3 weeks later they do not get back to you about the credit. you will never find out if you were approve or not. We placed complaints with the BBB and will follow up with that bc this is a scam.

It’s a clean building and reachable.
Staff are helpful, friendly and willing to listen.

Leonel seemed very friendly but he’s very dishonest. He took our application and money then dropped off the face of the earth. If I can find out how I will be reporting him. How many people is he doing this to?
If anyone knows how to report rental scammers please let me know!

Well I would like to strongly disagree with Mr. Eric S. I have been living here for about 12 years and Let me just say that whatever is said here can always be verified just by going and visiting the apartments yourselves. I guarantee you will be greeted with the upmost respect. The manager Maria is very friendly and is willing to help anyone who is also willing to help themselves. And the money that is being charged to the tenant is not charged by the manager but by the company because of the damages we make. And speaking of beautification Mr. Eric how could the apartments look nicer if your unsupervised daughters would be running around pulling the grass and ripping the plants, or going from neighbor to neighbor asking for food and we’re always dirty and unattended. Mmmmmm to me that spells neglect and child endangerment and most of us neighbors can testify to it. and as a fellow security officer we should have just a little bit of higher morals so why are you spreading lies and rumors about a women who only helped you, and doing «harm or revenge» behind a computer screen? But with that being said the company is always attentive to the problems we need fixing, maintanence is usually always there to fix it the next day. Most of the people living there I know stay for years and years and no apartments are vacant right now so ask yourself this; if the manager was so awful and th company is so bad why is it always full and with people who’ve been there for 10 years +?

Mike doesn’t call you back. ever! Francine was so very rude to me today! I really want this apartment but can’t get a straight answer.

The owner replied saying I was dishonest and it was a Facebook photo from 2008 I had posted that i was trying to pass off as my own. so here ya go Unilocal world proof in a screenshot of the time the photo was taken with orig photo right behind it 3am before work waking up disgusted. They can keep my deposit but renters beware! Good riddance to this place!

My boyfriend and I lived in an apartment owned by Lido in Orange, Ca for about 2 years. Our first manager was not good and luckily we got new managers shortly after. We cannot say enough good things about our managers Doug and Jennifer. They are friendly, attentive, and genuinely want to help you and make sure your living situation is the best it can be. Our first experience with them was when our garbage disposal broke, and the next morning Doug was there putting in a new one and tied a Seahawks balloon to it (which made my bf very happy) They always take an extra step to make their tenants happy. We really enjoyed our experience and we were sad to leave. Citrus Cove apartments in Orange, Ca is a great place to live and highly recommend it!

Terrible management company. The apartments are so old you can hear every noise, feel every draft and windows shake whenever someone walks up the stairs. You can hear neighbors kids running around due to underground passage — which skunks have been stuck under and sprayed numerous times in the summer. The club across reopened and since then no sleep for anyone. All you hear is thumping club music and constant noise from the workers and bands and though the manager on site does what she can — the management company doesn’t do anything about it. Plus is they don’t raise rent so if noise and 10 people living in an apt next to or above you doesn’t matter — it’s a bargain!

I found a property through zilliow and left a voice message schedule a viewing. The agent told us the house is on the market for 10 days and no one apply so we thought it might be a chance to bet on it then we submitted our application the next day and dropped it off in their office and the reception told us will pass to their agent.
After all, they never contact us tell us if he receive our applications. We been waiting and even past on other properties just for this house. The way their handle tenant application is very unprofessional and fishy, we submitted a lot of personal information and application fees of $ 50 (their only take money order!). We called the agent to asked about the result but he didn’t pick up the phone or call us back (We even left him a voice message). And then we saw he reposted the ad on Craigslist to try attract more tenant twice for about 2 weeks long! They shouldn’t ignore us and not returning call, at least tell us if they are processing our application before trying to attract more applicants!
I had a hard credit inquiry pull from my report and I don’t receive any instruction or follow up! If your application to rent a place to live is turned down due to information in a credit report, the landlord who rejected you as a tenant must provide you with a notice that describes your rights and gives you instructions for requesting a free copy of the credit report accessed in the decision.
The whole experience is just awful, wasting my time and others!

Leonel was the leasing agent for the property we are in now and he was very professional. More importantly, he handled all the details very delicately and in a prompt manner. I could not be more happy with my experience thus far. –current resident at a LIDO managed property.

Last review was inexplicably deleted, anyhow the management company has done of poor job of repairing known issues in my apartment. They even illegally entered my apartment recently to fix an «emergency» in which they had a whole week to address. My wife walked into our apartment and boom, bunch of plumbers had already destroyed my living room and bathroom essentially leaving us homeless. Overall they do well fixing minor issues but really fumble during the major repairs. They have been more receptive lately to my concerns and hopefully that continues, sometimes these companies forget who they are here to serve.

Lido property managers on site are so kind and helpful. They keep the building at tip top shape! Nothing like having a clean and beautiful environment to live around. My only issue is the staff at Lido Property office! They seriously have no desire in working there! They are rude, and unfriendly with the residents. I had a problem with submitting my maintenance claim, so I address the problems in person and through the phone. They still told me that I had to submit my maintenance form online, after I had already gone all the way to their office. My call got directed to three different persons, and to top it off they told me I had to address my manager about the problem!!! So then what’s the point in having people working at the office? If they aren’t going to help you out at all!!! So hopefully they take care of the job.

We are very happy with Lido, they take great care of us and our neighbors. They also have a superb maintenance team who have added many improvements to our property over the last few years. The office staff, our property manager and the maintenance workers have always been very polite, considerate and professional.

Whoa i cant believe they took down my comment… what are guys scared of people, other people reading it… so beware people of the apartment complex sunset palms the manager maria is horrible and tells residents to ask other residents for money to fix stuff at the apartment. I for some reason thought that was what the deposit was for, hmmm i guess not, and if you toilet gets clogged they charge you 60 dollars, i wonder where money is going towards because its not to bueatify the apartments.

I’ve been living at a property for a few years now that Lido manages and have nothing but praise for the staff and management team. Although some maintenance request don’t get attended to immediately on the weekends, they are at my unit first thing Monday. The girls who answer the phone always help me out with any issues I have. She’s very courteous.
The main reason I’m writing this is because when I first moved in, I had bad credit and was getting turned down by all other management companies and apartments. Lido worked with me anyway. I offered to pay two months in advance and we made an agreement that if I missed any rent payments that I would have to move. I’m glad they took a chance on me because I always pay my bills on time and was very grateful to them for giving me a shot. 2 and half years later, I’m still loving my apartment and want to thank Lido for helping me out when no one else would.
