History

Established in 1972.

One of the first vineyards planted in Oregon in 1972. Winery founded and still owned by Myron Redford in 1974. Oregon’s first Organic winery. One of the original LIVE and Oregon Certified Sustainable wineries. Made the first Gamay Noir in Oregon. A pioneer in both winemaking and viticulture practices.

Business Owner

Myron is the owner and original winemaker for Amity Vineyards. He started his career with Associated Vintners in Washington in 1968. Moved to Oregon in 1974 and founded Amity Vineyards. He has been given every honor available to an Oregon Winemaker, including the Life Time Achievement award from the Oregon Winegrowers Association.
