History
Established in 2011.
Peddar Fitness is the première private fitness studio of Amherst Massachusetts. Founded by AFAA certified personal trainers Jeff Peddar and Mark Stavropulos in the spring of 2011. By getting out of the large gym scene and into our own space, we were able to carefully designed our studio to have state-of-the-art equipment specific for your needs. We offer the privacy of 1-on-1 training without the distractions of a large gym, so our clients can really focus on the workout and get the results they deserve.

Business Owner
Jeff Pedder is an ex-Marine and full-time fitness trainer who owns and operates his own fitness studio in Amherst MA. Jeff began working in fitness shortly before he joined the Marines in 2003. In the Marines he worked in a heavy equipment unit, did two tours of duty in Iraq, but more importantly served as the combat fitness instructor for his unit as well as many other Marines. This training included a variety of classes including boot camps, circuit and high intensity core training and intensive cardio training. These experiences in the marines and as a personal trainer led Jeff to open his own studio where he runs fitness classes and provides personal training for a diverse population of clients; from 15 year old basketball players to 90 year old grandmothers. To date Jeff has trained over 2500 clients, with at least 800 of them being members of the armed forces. This variety of experiences in the military and in fitness training led Jeff to the development of a patented core p
