Today is the 3rd time I have been here, 1st was good, 2nd time was alright and today was bad. The girls doing my hand and feet act as if they didn’t want to do them. I have giving chances after chance they act as if my feet are bad and they are not. I’m done I will go back to my old place.

This is my first time at the new location on lake and Washington and it felt like old times. I haven’t been to N&J nails in years and I’m happy I came back. I love my nails. Anna is the best. They are no longer in Altadena on lake and calaveras. They’ve moved to lake and Washington next to the liquor store.

Not a fancy place, but if you want a cheap no frills mani/pedi it works. It was only $ 20 for manicure and a pedicure…

I’ve come here for a total of 4 times today was my fifth time and I am so mad and disappointed. I only asked for a regular set square tip… the normal set. I showed the guy on the sokor and his I wanted my nails painted… and the guy did the total opposite the nails where glued sideways which makes my nauks look crooked. Also he did like a V shape kinda like this /\ that is how My nails look and some where filed more on one side the are all unevenly looking my hands an nails look deformed and they did not even paint them how I showed them… they only did what they wanted… and had to pay$ 42.00. I did not yell at them or anything but I did let her know that I am mad and very VERYUNHAPPY! Rgae lady just said come back next time we fix… how am I going to come back after this… after she looks at it and smirks like wanting to laugh at my anger… never again. Still 1star is adding way too many stars on this review

Although its not the nicest fanciest looking place, the staff is nice the designs are good(depending in the person who does your nails) and the prices are great. Anna also does a good eyebrow wax.

DONOTCOMEHERE. I was in the neighborhood to get a haircut and decided to stop in for a quick manicure. BIGMISTAKE. Not only am I going to have to get my nails done again, I absolutely question the cleanliness of this place. The guy who filed my nails had a horrible rash on his arms and the girl who painted my nails picked her nose in front of me before starting! The place was generally dirty and the employees burp and eat their lunch with their shoes off where the clients are being worked on. When I walked in I asked for a regular manicure with a gel top coat to seal the color and the owner expressed concern. I’ve done this at other places, including a spot in Amsterdam a few weeks ago, and here she is telling me it CAN’T be done. Turns out their products aren’t good and they don’t have the appropriate staff to do a proper job. I was unhappy and just wanted to pay so I could leave. My nails weren’t dry so the owner says«the girl» can just go into my bag to get the money. Before I can even respond, I have this chick’s hand in my bag! This was not OK with me so I pulled out some cash and immediately walked out. One of the men in the shop yelled that I should never come back. No need to worry, I won’t be back there and so please see this as a warning: JUSTSTAYAWAY!

Always nice and courteous. Sometimes you have to wait a little to be seen if you don’t have an appointment. Also, they do really cool nail art and acrylics if you’re into that and the waxing is super cheap and thorough.

I came here randomly to get my the gel off my nails removed and a pedi… they’re pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Everything seems clean. Close to my house. Will come again.

They have great prices and are super nice, but quality varies based on who is doing the nails. I generally get gel polish these days, and Tony doesn’t usually paint close enough to the nail bed. Leaving me with perfect newly painted nails, that look like they’ve been growing out for a week. I also don’t like the soak off process there. They literally soak your nails in a basin full of acetone for about 15 minutes. I’ve had gels done at many places and no one has done it with this method. Everyone else has soaked a cotton ball and wrapped in foil for about 1 minute with great results. They have massage chairs, and use removable basins with disposable plastic bag inserts for pedicures, although, they don’t use new nail files for each customer. It’s hard to beat their prices($ 35 for pedicure and gel manicure), and they do amazing design work. Can get super crowded! I was in there on a friday morning, when they opened and within a half hour there were 9 other people there.
