Just bought a GLK 350 from here from Wesley, really great services. Sales people really know what they are doing, they are knowledgeable, responsible and very friendly. 100% recommend

They asked for a credit application to test drive a car that was less than $ 10,000. Unreal. My salesman also looked like he was high.

Worst car purchase I’ve ever made. I bought a BMW from them back in April and I’ve had NOTHING but problems with this car since day one. When I first brought it back (less than 8 weeks after purchasing) for it’s first repairs I spoke with my sales rep and manager about Lemon Laws. They guaranteed me they’d cover any costs associated with repairs and provide me a warranty. I’ve brought it back to them for repairs at least six times since– the last being something that (of course) isn’t covered by the warranty. Complete nightmare– I wish I never stepped foot on this lot.

I am actually pretty surprised by the reviews left for these guys so far. I’ve read through them, and sadly most of them are related to the person (likely) not having good credit (not the dealer’s fault), or buying a 3 – 5 year old make of a car that is notorious for having mechanical issues and is out of warranty. Both of those issues are not the dealer’s fault, and that should not be considered grounds for a poor review. In any case, I’ve bought 10+ high-​end cars in my life, and I had an amazing experience with these guys. I purchased a 2015 G63 — sight unseen — from them in October 2015. I needed the car delivered to Chicago by the following week and they delivered! The transaction closed on Saturday, and they had the car delivered to my doorstep by Wednesday at noon… incredible. The car itself is immaculate… it still even has the factory tags on the steering wheel and seats, plastic covering the floor mats, etc. I will definitely be calling them again to purchase another ride in the future. Found a car we wanted to purchase but wanted to take care of all the financing before we got there since it was quite far from us. Dealt with Wesley who I didn’t like right away, he kept trying to pressure us to put money down and said he couldn’t roll in the sales tax. He told us he would call right back we waited most of the day until they were almost closed and had to call them back to see what was going on. Next day my husband calls him & we try to negotiate a price & again he says he will call right back so 5 hours later we call him and he says sorry we sold the car 20 minutes ago. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with, we went to another car dealer bought the same vehicle at a better price with no money down and they rolled in the sales tax for us. They lost a sale from us, would never deal with them again.

I have to say I had the exact opposite experience as most people here. They have a really great selection of good used cars, especially high end ones. I did my research before going in, knew the value of the car I was interested in, and was thrilled by the price I was given without having to negotiate. Every dealership you go to will try and sell you extras, but BFM only offered the tire and wheel plan which I always get anyways and find crucial for Boston. Even that was presented as an option and they weren’t pushy about it at all. I took my sweet time filling out the paperwork and they didn’t seem to mind staying way past close (their hours are awesome btw). After everything was signed their guy Christian cleaned up the car real nice and it was ready for me within 48 hours. I think if you do your research and have credit that’s worthy of the car you want, you’ll have as positive of an experience as I’ve had.

Rudest staff I have ever met… very unprofessional and they need to smile more in this place of business. Not sure if it’s a family run business but it’s 2015 and show courtesy and smiles when customers walk through the door.
I have seen some of the salesman in local businesses in the area as well and they seem miserable. Don’t have your nose up in the air around me because it won’t sit well. Be proud to be in America if not go back to the old country. Never will do business there again. The American car salesman are cool it’s the foreign ones that need to go.

DO NOT GO HERE.
In the beginning of September I bought a Mini Cooper from this place. It had 70k miles on it and appeared to be in pretty good shape. Lies.
Lets back up. They ‘open’ at 9 but no sales people showed up until after 10. So call ahead.
Then, every car they showed me I asked for the carfax report. Every car they showed me was a lemon (from CA too, not that that matters). One of the reports for one of the lemons didn’t even list a reason for it being a lemon, so that was sketchy as all hell.
Anyways, bought a mini. Two days last the engine light comes on. Bring it back to them, they clear the light and tell me it was nothing. A ‘false alarm’ blah blah. It comes back on the next day (shocking.) I have my guys look at the car and they point out a coolant leak to me (the car had no coolant left either) and I have the code read at autozone. It was a fuel sensor issue tripping the engine light.
Also, the small light cover for the blinker on the side of the car was missing when I bought it. They said they’d order me another. Every time I asked about this they said it hadn’t come in yet. After weeks went by, they said they got it but they were sent the wrong color (a yellow one vs a clear one). It’s a small piece of plastic that goes over the blinker on the side of the car. When I asked the Mini dealership (Mini of Boston) how long it would take to get this part they told me it would be 1 day.
Anyways, Boston Foreign Motors — legally required to fix the car within 30 days of purchase — kept pushing me off and wouldn’t return phone calls, etc. Finally I called Mini of Boston and scheduled my own service appointment, and told them the bill was going to Boston Foreign Motors. There were no loaner cars available so I told them to get me a rental. Once this was scheduled I left a message with Foreign Motors to let them know I was sick of their run around and that I had an appointment. They called back within an hour saying they got me a different appointment at the Mini Dealership with a loaner car. Cool.
Show up for this appointment at Mini of Boston and they have no record of said appointment and no available loaners. Shocking. I still drop off my car and get a rental and the bill goes to Foreign Motors.
My car gets fixed, no more engine light, and Mini of Boston replaces the missing plastic piece for me.
Fast forward 3 months. The timing belt in my car breaks, which then messes up other parts of the engine. I get a quote for $ 6,000 to fix the car. 7,200 miles on the car. That’s ridiculous. I traded it in for the little I could get on the car and bought a new one from a REAL dealership. If I could have had it towed to Boston Foreign Motors, dropped it in their lot, and lit it on fire without getting arrested I would have.
Besides the huge aggravation of actually buying the car, and then dealing with them to fix the car initially, I WILL NEVER step foot in this establishment again. They were absolutely trying to delay fixing my engine light until the 30-​day lemon law period was up so they didn’t have to.

At first glance due to how small the place looks, I would have never thought to stop here. Decided to give it chance which I’m glad I did. Sales person (Won) that I worked with on the purchasing my 2012 Audi A4 was very friendly and not pushy like other sales persons I’ve came in counter with at other dealerships. Everything was shown during the process of purchase, carfax, service records that they had when they got the car down to the final checkup/​maintenance performed from the Audi dealership itself which was a great peace of mind. It was a pleasure doing business and plan on revisiting in the future when looking for another vehicle.

I bought a 2011 bmw last year and I been trying not leave any review about it for 2 reasons I know some of the guys who work there and I was blaming myself for not taking enough time looking at it but after having so much problem in car and taking it to the shop every month I decided to write this. The car was looking clean and shiny when saw it but when I took it home i noticed how much work they done to hide the damage on/​in the car they used cheap paint to hide scratches (big scratches), they used glue to keep pieces together till u take it home and start falling apart. in one case they glued the cover on the steering wheel (air bag cover) cost me 1000 $. The paint start peeling off in some parts and different colors in others I also had problem in the engine, tires, oil leaks, water leaks, AC and still needs a lot of work. today I sent the car to the body shop after I start having (water/​foggy headlights) the guy told me u need new headlights those were broken and someone glued it.

Buyers beware! This dealership has descent prices, but wait! Car fax says, all good, but wrong!!! I had the car checked at a dealer to find out the car had lots of damage to it. They buy cars at auctions for a reason. Stay away and go straight to a authorized new car dealer! Oh, parts will be missing from the car, and cough up another $ 300 for a second set. They have a sign on the wall saying that all cars come with one set of keys. Please be very careful, and stay away. You will be glad you did.

TL;DR; Stereotypical used car lying deceiving dealer sleazebags. Will never deal with them again.

My experience started nicely with sales guy, Sean, showing us he car, which we liked.
During the negotiations we agreed on complimentary all weather winter mats, which Sean even went to show us how he would order it from CarId and how they would fit perfectly. The total package for floor mats was going to be ~$ 300.
All good. Signed papers, signed promissory notes.
Week later picking up the car. The matts aren’t there no big deal, I am all excited. Getting the paperwork from the dealer.
— 2 week later I calling, asking for weather matts. The reply is «Sorry, I though my mechanic ordered them. Will do it and call in a week».l.
— 4 weeks later, no call. I am calling them. — The reply is, sorry have been too busy. Will do it now.
— 6 weeks later. Sorry, they are too expensive on CarId, com, I am shopping on Ebay.
— 8 weeks later. No call. Calling the owner. Owner asked, if I have any paper-​work to proove it, I said, yeah sure, I signed the promissory note where you were promising inspection, and this. The owner goes, ok, I’ll talk to Sean. Sean calls me back saying he will do it.
— 9 weeks later. Nothing, I checked the package of documents they gave me (thank god it has title, but of course there is no note of promisorry note)
At this point I am saying f. k them, (mental note, a bunch of 5 stars on google reviews mean nothing) and the reviews are probably written by the employees. Would never recommend dealing with them and or if you please write down every single thing their promise have them sign it and be ready to fight for it.
I would never have my foot near that place again.

OK: good things first. The price was good, the sales pitch was low-​pressure, and they gave me a good price on my trade in, which was, frankly, a rolling junk-​heap.
That’s the end of the good news. I would say Sean has never returned a phone call in a timely manner, but I believe he has never actually returned a phone call, period. My mechanic pointed out that the car would need four new tires to pass inspection, and there was some other minor work to do. It took a week of calling and leaving messages before they got around to getting the tires, and I basically had to go park the car in the middle of their lot and say «Hey, I’m leaving my car here until you replace the tires. Can you get on that, please?» Bear in mind that replacing any tires that wouldn’t pass inspection was part of the agreement.
I also paid extra for them to order a roof-​rack and tow hitch. I bought the car November 15. I finally managed to get them to admit, today, December 9, that they didn’t actually have the parts yet. It’s unclear to me why not — it sounds like they ordered the wrong part and didn’t realize it until it arrive — but they certainly didn’t call me to let me know what was going on, and they wouldn’t tell me on the phone until I basically threatened to go somewhere else and have the bill sent to them.
Despite their claims of having ordered, they’re totally unable to tell me what the price of the parts were, and I’m now waiting on a callback to find out. I honestly don’t expect to get one.
Used car dealers are always a little shady. These guys are not only shady, they’re incompetent, and they don’t seem to understand the concept of customer service. I actually find myself wishing the car had turned out to be a lemon, so I could just return it and be done with them forever.
UPDATE: After calling repeatedly and making a nuisance of myself, I finally spoke to a manager. He’s agreed to refund the money I had given them for the extra parts, and to cover the repair of a missing part that Sean had apparently forgotten about. I still wouldn’t go back, and I wish I hadn’t gone to them in the first place, but at least someone there was trying to get me less pissed off.
UPDATE 2: April 2, 2014. I got a flat tire this morning; not the dealers fault, obviously, I hit a pothole. However… I noticed when I bought the car that there were locking lugnuts on the wheels. I was aware that could be a problem, so I made certain that the key was in the car. It was. I then brought it back so they could replace the tires and do some other work they’d promised to do (the tires are the only part of it they actually did), and guess what? I learned this morning that I don’t have the key anymore. Not in the glove box. Not in the well with the spare tire. Not under the seats. Not in any of the compartments. I’ve sent them email, but I’ve also told my mechanic to go ahead and break off the locking nuts… the originals ARE still in the wheel well, in the package that used to have the key in it.

Big fat one star for this place. Terrible dealership. Admittedly they have some good cars for good prices However my whole financing experience was terrible. Not only are they constantly pressuring for more and more money, but they kept on saying one thing and then changing it. Constant lies and stretched truths. Horrible customer service. And they keep you waiting. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

I buy a new car every 2 or 3 years — so I have plenty of experience and know what to expect. I brought my beloved G35 coupe here to trade it in for a newer Acura — after moving to MA I thought it was time to ditch the rear wheel drive sports car for a more gas/​snow friendly car. The only reason I came here was because they had the color/​make/​model Acura I was looking for. My sales guy Kyle was nice enough and played the whole price game with me for a few hours until we finally settled on the price I wanted. They had to fix a few things on the car like tires/​Nav CD and some paint spots. They did all this — except the paint spots which are now rusting. One star off for this. We tried to get in touch with them to work out a deal about the rust and were unsuccessful — I will end up having to pay out of pocket to fix it. The whole buying process seemed shady and the extended warranty I got is not factory — so it will be a pain in the ass to deal with when I actually have a claim — another star off. The last star off comes from the lack of customer service that you don’t get when you buy a car from a dealer.
I love my Acura — but the whole buying process left me feeling like I just bought a stolen car from a warehouse in Queens and would never be able to get in touch with the seller again.

BEWARE!!! This place sold me a car with four tires flipped inside out to make them appear new when they were all bald! Also day after purchase engine had issues and they refused to pay for full repairs even know I was under warranty. Their mechanic is also extremely incompetent (he’s Chinese) and his apprentice is 19 years old… long story short I had to pay out of pOcket for repairs that were under warranty. They also damaged my motor by putting too much oil I’n it which is very serious. Do not buy from this place! Especially Alvin or milad. They sit there and make you feel like your getting a great deal and then once you’ve paid they could care less about you or the car you bought from them. This place is a dirty scam bottom line

I went to Boston Foreign Motor (BFM) to look at a vehicle listed on their website. It was listed wrong on their website as it said the vehicle had a Sequential Manual Gearbox (SMG), a $ 1,500 option, and it did not. Other than that the vehicle was in decent shape besides a more than average amount of grease under the hood, a cracked shifter knob, and a light out in the glove compartment.
When I offered $ 2,900 dollars below their listed price, they explained to me that the price online these days are pretty much fixed. They insisted that the listed the lowest they could sell it for and no dealers who list their cars online are negotiable. It was so fixed that I managed to get $ 1,300 off the price.
When we agreed on the price we talked about financing, they promised to get the same rate I could get on my own. I started filling out the application and before I even handed him the application or agreed to a credit check, Peter, the finance manager, had ran it without my consent! The rate was not even close to what I could get and they stated that this is what they could offer, and I stopped filling out the application.
I explained to them that I could not pay that high interest rate and I needed some time to make this decision. Milad told me that this was only the rate for tonight, and pressured me to buy then since it was already passed closing time. I told him that I really need to think about it and I will be back first thing in the morning if I decided to buy it. On the way out Milad had remarked «come back when you have some more confidence!» This statement had made my decision not to purchase an easy one. Sure enough I got a call the morning from Peter to purchase the car.
I called Peter today to ask him to remove his credit inquiry as CREDCO, their credit reporting agency, had recommended. Peter said that he had three witnesses to me verbally agreeing to run a credit report; his alleged witnesses are the high pressure salesmen who were standing around. I never consented to this. He also told me that he had my signature authorizing this. I have not signed any documentation for him to run my credit. I wish I had taken the reviews and Better Business Bureau complaint more seriously before I went to Boston Foreign Motors. They do have competitive prices but are less willing to negotiate than most dealers so I would be cautious of everything they try to tell you and be sure to shop around before resorting to Boston Foreign Motors.

Preemptive Moral of My Story:
Buying a car is scary. And these guys sold me a really, really good car at a decent price. Nothing matters in this business more than that. My shiny new 2007 Toyota Corolla is sitting contentedly in my driveway as Cinderella’s birds chirp overhead, insured and inspected, its Indigo Ink Pearl coat gleaming, giving me nary a care in the world.
That said, I’m actually looking forward to the day my Lemon Law contract expires and I’ll never have reason to deal with them again.
Used car salesmen are businessmen. It’s what they do. A-​always B-​be C-​closing. And as such, like a good engine, a fair amount of oiliness is to be expected. These guys were polite on the phone and friendly in person, but didn’t have a whole lot of patience for a girl looking to buy her first car all by her lonesome. This lack of patience manifested itself in different ways – annoyance by some; amped-​up charm by others. Like, drippy oily charm that made it difficult to discern what was standard and what was «cute-girl-how-far-can-we-take-her-let’s-pretend-this-is-a… discount», if you catch my drift. They let me haggle within reason, I suppose, but it was a little irksome to have them fight me for the last $ 50 and then, as we’re killing time waiting for the car to arrive, regale me with how many BMWs they each personally owned.
They were completely willing to let me bring to car to my mechanic (Newton Automotive Services, holla!), who took it for a test drive and declared the patient in excellent health. Again, this is the true test, and BFM passed.
Still, though, there is no question that, post-​financial transaction, they gave way less of a shit about me. A few little niggly details of the car needed work (a broken hinge on a dashboard compartment, minor but annoying etc.), and they flat out didn’t take the time to order the part, and kept telling me to come back another time, to CALL THEM to see if the part had arrived. Eff that, boys. I just wrote you HUGE CHECK, and you can’t even be bothered to call me when the part arrives? Oh yes, silly me. The check cleared. I’ll try not to let the car door hit me on the ass on the way out.
I love my new car. It’s a good, solid car, and even the sullen RMV lady told me I got a good deal. But the process left something to be desired.

I would give it no stars if I could. The car I scheduled to see was dirty inside and out. The sale man told me because he didn’t know I was coming, but I made an appointment.
They would not budge even a dollar, and expected me to pay the exact sticker price. OK, I was still almost able to live with the bad service. Then they didn’t want to work with my outside financing from Bank of America. I mean, I was just going to hand them a bank check for the exact amount, but they want to handle the financing to get more kick backs and the sale man started talking down to me for reaching out to Bank of America.
No thanks. Buy here at your own risk, especially if you like to be talk down to. I bought car from another dealer the next day.

Let’s be honest… used car dealers usually aren’t fun or trustworthy or easy to deal with, so a lot of the negative things I have to say are normal car dealer behavior.
My boyfriend got a used car from here, and while the process was a bit bumpy, they tried hard to make up for places where they fell short.
THE GOOD — They had the wrong price posted online ($ 1k less than what they really wanted)…but they honored it when he decided to buy it. They gave him a reasonable trade-​in amount. When the car failed inspection & needed a new tire plus other work that took over a week to fix, but my boyfriend wanted 4 new tires, they sold him the other 3 at-​cost & put them on the car.
THE BAD — The car failed inspection. They basically forced my boyfriend into using their financing. They kept his car way too long while repairing it because it wasn’t a priority for them.
THE UGLY — Once the inspection repairs were done, they removed the FAILED sticker, but didn’t get a PASSED sticker. So the car was technically illegally on the road until my boyfriend could get back to the shop to get a new one.
Still, they were nice enough & tried to make up for mistakes that they made. I don’t know if I’d want to buy a car from them, but they definitely didn’t leave a sour taste in my mouth.
