It’s Braums and it’s local. When I’m in the mood for Ice Cream, Braums is a quick solution with great variety. My kids love Braums. Braums also has hambergers and fries, breakfast as well as a grocery store. The burgers and fries at Braums are OK and will do in a pinch, but nothing more. I haven’t found myself in too many situations where I need to buy groceries at Braums, but there have been a few times when I picked up a few things just because I was there. It’s interesting to categorize Braums; it’s one of those places that you don’t really think much about, but you are glad it’s there. With young kids, it’s very convenient to have a drive through for Ice Cream that’s open later than 9PM. You’d be surprised how often the wife(not pregnant) has Ice Cream cravings and wants a Sundae. The staff at Braums is pretty unique in that they are not your fast food typical stereotype. What I will say is that I always get good service and they produce thier product fast enough that kids don’t have time to complain 75 more times how hungry they are. I’m glad we have a Braums in my area, I visit more often than I think about.

We can’t get enough of their ice cream. Both the ice cream and frozen yogurt are delicious and taste so fresh. The prices are great and despite always being busy in the evenings, the staff are efficient and super friendly. My only complaint is that the frozen yogurt machine seems to be out or not working on a much too regular basis.(But not enough to deter us from still going back and trying!)

Very good ice cream collection and friendly staff. I would not prefer food here but for ice creams definitely yes.

I’m amazed! Even with a lot of people, food came through quickly. Chili was yummy. Staff was very polite. French fries! Crinkle Cut Need I say more? Fresh coffee. Chili. Mmm. Staff was constantly cleaning the tables and the common areas. Can’t believe they get four stars.

Arrived around 10:15AM on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning. Ordered a regular breakfast burrito combo with OJ. The clerk was nice and friendly. Paid and found the perfect booth to use my laptop. Within a couple of minutes, my order was ready. A bit too greasy, but I guess that’s what you get with deep fried«hash browns». I use quotes because these technically aren’t has browns. More like fries in puck form. The burrito was very nicely and neatly wrapped and filled. This is great spot to chill while your car is being worked on at Goodyear just down the street. Also, the tunes they play over the intercom are easy rock/pop, like Chicago, Maroon 5, and Neil Sedaka, at least on a Saturday morning.

I love their ice cream and holiday flavors! The price of their double dip ice cream cones is very reasonable and they have so many flavors to try. I like the traditional strawberry and rocky road as well. The place is a bit old looking inside though.

The ice cream is good, there’s no denying that. The issue that I have with this place is the smell of wet dog that smacks you in the face the second you walk in, the floors are filthy, the ice cream counter doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned, ever, and the same goes for the booths. If you want to lose your appetite, eat here. If you’d rather blissfully ignore the disgusting interior, order your ice cream through the drive-thru!

I’m not a big fan of the food here, but the ice cream is where it’s at! the lines are always kind of long to get your frozen treats, but that’s because it’s cheap and delicious. The serving sizes are very generous and the pricing is great. We usually spend about $ 6 for the 3 of us. We usually get brownie sundae’s and waffle cones. Yums! They are always so busy and they move quickly so they don’t really have time to be friendly, lol. They’ve got plenty of flavors to choose from. My fave place for ice cream for sure!

This is close to my home. and I absolutely love it! Also, the different specials on the sign by the road helps me in making my decision:)) Glad you’re on my way to the house!

Again, tried this place, not wanting to give up I presume. No! Never again, I was in line so long I called into the store and they indicated they were understaffed. I waited 22 minutes before I got to the speaker, once I pulled up I was told to hold. Hold more.Took my order got to the window, guess what. pull up and wait; we waited thirty one minutes for four simple orders. Disgusted, then the food was not even hot. Alarming to look in Window and see food all over kitchen floor while paying, how are they are still in business? No customer service, no attention to detail and on top of that when the order was finally brought out several things were missing.

Ice Cream treats are pretty solid but they do not know how to make an ice cream soda. The food is inconsistent at best. Went their last night and got a dried up shriveled burger that look like it came out of an elephant’s behind. I took it back and the cook rushed out to make sure it was thrown out before the lady manager saw it. Dhe has me what was wrong and I said, «did you look at it?» She said no. I said, well you just have to «look at it». I just wanted her to look at it. Well she gave me my stupid money back and we went to the DQ! It was very good. Skip the food!!!

I think I’ve written a review for this place before. It gets a 1. It’s terrible. I live nearby and the last 4 times I’ve attempted to give them money, the ice cream machine was broken. I guess they must just not ever clean it or maintain it in order for it to be down all the time. In either case, probably not safe for eating.

I have lived in the area for 7 years and use to live right down the street from this location… I think I have only gone once and didn’t have a problem with my order. No matter when I go, the service is extremely slow and there are always teens behind the counter goofing off. My food is always sloppy, and room temp and the kitchen always looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while! Needless to say, I haven’t been back. Now I have just trekked it to the Frisco location off of Main. Much better!

This Braum’s is literally about a half mile from my home, but we don’t visit often. Nothing against the place; my wife and I are the only ones in the home and we don’t do a lot of sweet treats. However, this location is usually good for some«ripe NOW» bananas, which is what we usually go there for. We also get butter and other dairy products for cooking on occasion. For the most part, if you’ve seen one Braum’s, you’ve seen them all, but this one is usually quite clean and has a well stocked grocery aisle.

Braum’s is a southern treasure and this location is no exception. The people are friendly always with a smile, damn good burgers, ice cream treats far better than Sonic, Wendy’s, and Dairy Queen at low prices. It is a fun, clean, friendly place to take my family and little kids. They’re Chocolate Banana Mix is awesome with chunks of fresh bananas and chocolate chunks. Their sorbet freezes are significantly better than any kind of freeze across the street at Sonic. And the banana split is pure southern indulgence. Having been a Texan who lived in Seattle 6 yrs made me realize just how good we have it here in Texas with great places like this Braum’s. It’s a privileged to support regional small chains like this. (update) ok, not always as clean as ideal, but the place has been around for awhile. still a big family favorite, we walked here from our home in the Twin Creeks neighborhood, looking forward to doing that for years to come

Talking about ice cream makes me want a shake. After having dinner at Angry Dog(and having a convo about ice cream), my sole purpose in life was to get some ice cream. I didn’t know when they closed, so I powered on over and they were still open.(This was around 10pm, they actually close at 10.30). So I went through the drive thru, but they didn’t list their ice cream options. And I didn’t want to be a pain and have them recite them all(especially since they would be making my shake… I shudder to think what fun they could have with it.) So in I went. Peanut butter cup shake it was…(though there were many good options of ice cream, I am a sucker for peanut butter goodness.) While she was making my shake, I went into the area where they have all the milk(yes, it really is a dairy store, they had all sorts of grocery items in there), and found that they had their own brand of cola. I grabbed one of those as well.(Drinking it as I type, not as sweet as a regular cola — perfect for float making.) So yeah, the shake was great. And now I know where to go for those ice cream cravings when I am in Allen.
