I came in on a Sunday in need of an allergy shot. I was also having trouble breathing, a very scary situation. I came in, filled out paperwork, and was called back within 10 minutes of waiting. I do not remember the name of the nurse, but she was very prompt and informative. I then saw Dr. Lloyd Walton, who was one of the kindest and most gentle doctors I have ever been to. I am usually very nervous and scared being in a doctors office and he made me feel right at home. Thank you CareNow Allen and Dr. Walton.

Fast and easy, took care of my problem. They take all insurance and will be you if needed.

After calling ahead to get an appointment we had over an hour wait once we got to the room. The waiting room wait was quick and only 2 other patients. It really did not seem to be very busy for such a long wait. If there was good reason to keep us so long it would have been nice for someone to at least have the respect for our time to let us know that they were running so far behind.

We received excellent care from Ashley and Dr. Lovell. My son had an allergic reaction to nuts and they got us in immediately, helped him to breathe better, eased our fears, and got us home quickly. We have gone to this Carenow for many years and have always received great care and service.

These folks were great! Got my wife in quickly for severe pain, evaluated her and determined she needed to go to the hospital. He contacted the hospital and advised them that we were in route, they were waiting for us upon arrival. She was admitted on Saturday and is still in today being treated for her illness. Great call by ANDREW LOVELL, DO. She’ll be released tomorrow.

This place is focused on money making, not patient health. I gave them insurance cards inmediately upon arrival. After spending over 30 munutes filling out forms, they informed me that insurance wouldn’t cover the visit. The kids I brought in have insurance that is supposed to pay at 100 percent. Plus a secondary insurance. They still insisted on me paying the amount for both kids in full. Places like this should be shut down and replaced by British system clinics.

Great service! All the staff were professional & courteous & called the next day to follow up! Highly recommend!

Generally I have had good experiences with the nurses and doctors at this location and the wait time has never been bad here. I did have one occurrence of a rude call back from a nurse and one occasion of a doctor over prescribing a medication dosage (nothing serious or unsafe about the dosage — it just was unnecessarily high and a followup with my physician said the dosage could have been cut in half). Overall there is a good staff here at this location and I trust them.

Am surprised at all the great reviews this place has got. Guess with an urgent care everyday is different, so I’ll write this with a pinch of salt. Let me start with the pros
1. Easy and convenient to do an online check in
2. Once you’ve checked in, you just sit and wait at the convenience of your home to get called in
3. Once I got in, I had some paper work to fill out and submit my license and insurance card which took about 5 mins, and then the wait was no more than 5 – 6 mins before I got called in.
4. Nurse was quick and did his part before leaving to get the doctor.
Thats how far I got before deciding to write this review. I’ve been waiting for 40 mins now and have stepped out twice reminding them am around, but no one has come in yet. So let me get to the cons
1. Even if you check in online, 2 – 3 hrs is still a long wait, but I’ll give them that, cus if its an emergency, then thats where I should be headed
2. Once you’ve waited 2 hrs to get called in, and if you have to wait another hr to see a doctor I don’t see the point. A short waiting time at the receptionist doesn’t mean you should be prepared for an unbearably long wait inside.
3. I definitely needed an xray based on the injury I had, even I can tell that, so the nurse practitioner could have taken the call in my opinion and suggested an x-​ray while I waited for the doctor.
After the second time I went out and suggested if we could at least get an xray based on what they’ve seen so far and then a technician came in and took me to the xray room. Really…
I will update my review again later today based on how the rest of my time here goes. I got in here at 4:40pm and it is now 5:50pm and I still haven’t seen the doctor even once. So far my experience has been a 2.5 mainly cus of the wait and me requesting the xray to reduce the wait. if that changes I will update my review
Update: Doctor did come in, told me he had a look at my xray and that it was just a strain, but it felt like more, I’ve had a sprain before and it doesn’t hurt this bad. I told him I wanted the radiologist report and he said it would come back only after two days (next day was off so it was ok). He then said I don’t need to wear anything and it would heal in 3 – 4 weeks. Then he left and the nurse came in to explain things. Just when I was about to leave the doctor came back in and told me that he looked the xray again and thought he saw a bone and it was very light and suggested I get a post op boot for 3 – 4 weeks and come back in 10 – 14 days for a follow up. I couldn’t understand, cus he didn’t mention a fracture or anything so I asked him to draw it out. Looked like a hairline fracture, but he didn’t really give me proper details. Dissapointed over all, young and inexperienced physicians and wouldn’t go back there for the follow up. Rather go to a specialist orthopedic for my follow up…

I was amazed at the care I received from Care Now. I arrived at 9:50pm and was not expecting to be treated with that much respect, considering that the clinic would be closing in 10 minutes. Everyone that we met was kind, sincere, and patient. I didn’t feel judged or rushed at all. Able to see doctor within 15 minutes and Dr. Sherryl Shipes was the nicest doctor I’ve ever met –and I work in health care. She listened to my complaints and validated how I was feeling. Everything about her expressed a sincerity that you do not often find with doctors. I appreciated her thoughtfulness in explaining everything in an easy to understand way and also making sure I didn’t have any questions before leaving the room. She also involved my husband in the conversation and in showing him what was going on with me at the time. The nurse (can’t remember her name :() was also very compassionate. Overall, I’d give this Care Now a ¹⁰⁄₁₀. It was the perfect thing for someone feeling sick.

Like many other posters, I was impressed with the level of service and care I received. In particular, I was impressed with Ashley and Kimberly. They were pleasant, warm and attentive.
I was diagnosed quickly and was able to get medication quickly as well. I’m already feeling better!

Great staff! I wasn’t feeling well, and needed to see a doctor. I looked at several urgent care centers in the area, as I am new to Texas. I found this one, and it had lots of information on the website, including price. I was so pleased with the web check-​in. They called me about 10 minutes before the doctor was ready to see me. I drove over, and was immediately called back. I was in and out in less than an hour. I am feeling 100% now because of their care. Thanks!

I was very happy with the service that I received. The Nurse, Doctor and Staff was excellent, I would recommend them to anyone. I loved that I was able to Check-​in online because my wait time was pretty long and I was able to wait at home. If I was to go in the office I would of went crazy, but once I got there I didn’t have to wait to see the doctor and the staff was very efficient. Happy Customer :-)

Did web Check-​In on a Tuesday night around 8pm. I got a call back at 8:10 and they asked me more about my symptoms (throat/​chest pain) and they told me I could come right away. After filling out some papers I only had to wait 10 minutes. The lobby was pretty empty (yay!). The nurse asked some questions then the doc came in pretty quick to check me out. He asked throrough questions and ran some tests and then ended up referring me to a specialist. He prescribed some meds that helped me sleep through the night without pain or discomfort.
The staff here is very nice and helped me find a pharmacy that could fill my prescription at 9:15pm. Hopefully I won’t have to go back but I recommend it if you need to!

I love the web check in!!! I was called back within 5 minutes of checking in online and was told it was going to be an hour and a half wait. They called me back in 45 minutes telling me they had a room ready for me. When I got there I was put into a room within 5 minutes. Dr. Walton was very friendly and knowledgeable and the nurse that checked me in and out was very sweet and helpful. I was out of there in under an hour. I am already feeling better thanks to CareNow. I highly recommend this place!

I recently went to this Care Now location for a hand injury. I used the web check-​in to reduce the amount of time spent waiting there. After being called in, the appointment still took over three hours with most of this time alone in an exam room. After x-​rays I was told I had broken a bone in my hand and given a couple of prescriptions. I was made to feel like a criminal when the nurse gave me the prescriptions for pain medication. The doctor called that evening to check on me (which is nice). I let her know that I was still in a lot of pain and she said to call back the next day to get a stronger prescription.
When the medication was not working the next day, I called numerous times throughout the day to speak with the doctor. They were always too busy. I left several messages with the nurse for the doctor to call me back. I eventually gave up. Later that evening I received a call from the nurse. I was told the to double the dosage but to not expect a refill even though I would run out quickly. I was told to schedule another appointment for a new evaluation. I can only think that the doctors there are afraid to treat pain with anything stronger than ibuprofen or acetaminophen. I would not recommend this place for any injury requiring pain medication. Additionally, they tried to schedule two different follow up appointments to make sure the bone is healing right. While this place is cheaper than the emergency room, I guess you get what you pay for.

Loved the idea of this place that you can pre-​register online. Esp. during flu season when you don’t want to be sitting in a room with people who are sick. You just get your call and go right in. I was taken back within minutes of arriving. Barely had any wait in my room. The doctor, I wish I could remember his name was SO nice. Being that I don’t have an established primary doctor care now took care of what I needed for my sickness.
He was on point, quick, but still very personable. I was highly impressed. They have great hours for flu season as well. If I’m ever in a pinch again and in need of a quick doctors appointment I know where I’ll be going!

Love the ability to pre-​register and wait at home to be called! This is definitely much better than sitting at the CareNow, but even after I arrived when they called they had a surprisingly comfortable waiting room with movies playing on the TVs to entertain you. I didn’t even have time to get into the movie though before I was called back.
Really nice nursing staff, great doctor, and they correctly diagnosed me and got me all fixed up with very little expense! I will definitely be back if I ever need care quickly!

At first I thought this place was great if you needed medical attention if you did not have to go to the ER.
The web checkin is great however when they call you to come in you will wait an additional 20 to 30 minutes, so someone tell me the point of web checkin again?
Not much of care of concern, just about getting you in and out which is good, but they need to listen to what is wrong with you.
Also misdiagnoses seems to happen often not only with my wife but with me, I had the flu which is not a sinus infection.
There is a lack if care in care now.
The only thing positive is the nurses upfront handle so many things and try hard to help.

They were awesome!
They took my info, sent me home & called me when it was time to come back for my appointment. They got me right in, were friendly & conscientious of my time and discomfort level. I would highly recommend this over the hospital ER.
