Went to fremont optometry on saturday great service!
was very friendly and took the time to answer all my questions! Staff was very friendly too! Exam went great and my glasses where done in one hour! Will definitely go again! Highly recommend! Thanks!

Dr Ly and Charles are the most helpful and friendliest!!! I have been coming to see Dr Ly for almost 10 years and my husband has also switched to Dr. Ly. Though I live about 50 miles from his office now, but I still come to see him. I wouldn’t want to change optometrist. Dr. Ly is very knowledgeable, caring, and patient. He takes time to answer any questions or concerns we have and never felt rushed. He believes in building a strong relationship with his customers. In addition, his pricing is very affordable as well. I highly recommend this place!

Dr. Ly is one of the best optometrist I’ve visited.
I had to go Friday evening, for the first time for an emergency eye problem. We called at 5pm, 30 minutes before they closed and they agreed to wait for us to help us. Once I got there Dr. Ly quickly helped us. He asked many questions to figure out what was wrong with me. I appreciated his honesty and advice when figuring out how to solve my problem. Since my insurance didn’t cover the prescription I needed he recommended an over the counter product that would still help me but the issue wouldn’t get better as fast as the prescription medicine.
He was so nice and professional that my husband decided to make an appointment with him to get his vision checked. Oh yeah he even gave us his personal cell number in case we needed anything.
I ended up getting the prescription he gave me, I had to travel up north for the weekend and with all the craziness that traveling involves, I lost the medicine! My eye got bad again and Sunday morning I called the office to ask for anther prescription. Dr. Ly wasn’t in that day but the assistant called him and he was able to send in the prescription to Sacramento. I really appreciate how wonderful they are. They just made new customers for our future eye problems!

Sooo happy I found this place! Dr. Ly is a very kind and intelligent optometrist who is also extremely adventurous. I can converse with him for hours– He has tons of interesting stories! We have a lot in common and I had such a wonderful experience both with him and his staff, including Charles. I felt taken care of and will definitely be coming back when the time comes.

I would highly recommend, I had a great experience. Dr. Ly is thorough when it comes to getting it right! This will be the only optometrist I will be going to. He really cares about his patients!

You know what this place is pretty legit, Michael Ly was very helpful and precise with his eye exam and gave me the right advice. In regards to their staff they were very helpful and informative on what helped and although I had many questions about all their products Charles was quite helpful in regards to what each product offered.
I will definitely come back to them with my future business and refer my future friends.
You can tell that Michael was genuine as well as very sincere in his attentiveness with his work.
He’s been doing this for 16 years 6 years at this location alone.

Came in to see if they accepted my type of insurance, I was helped by this elder Lady but I couldn’t understand anything she was saying all I understood was no. I left very confused, there was another employee there and they didn’t offer help translate or anything. So I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

My family has been going to this optometry for years now. And every time we come in, the doctors (Dr. Ly and Dr. Cho) are always super kind and helpful. The staff is also very kind and helpful. I came in today with my mother and brother. Dr. Ly examined all of us with great precision, and made it his priority to ensure that we understood the conditions of our eyes, what we needed to do, and how we could improve (or prevent our eyes from getting worse). The atmosphere is home-​y and welcoming, not cold and uncomfortable like some other medical places. The staff who helped us today, both Judy and Charles, were awesome! My mother tends to be difficult to please, but they remained patient and continued to cater to our needs. My mother took ages to pick a new set of frames for her glasses, but Judy continued to bring her options to make sure my mother was satisfied. I also took ages to pick a new set of frames, but Charles remained super patient with me, and brought forth all the frames he thought I would like based on my preferences. With his help, I was able to find a perfect match, and now I am completely loving them! Judy and Charles made sure we did not leave until we were happy with everything. I would definitely recommend this place. Professional, kind, welcoming, and super efficient!

I went in to get sunglasses and I was greeted by Judy. She was very helpful and patient throughout the whole process. I got what I was looking for and will definitely be back in the future.

It was my first time here today and the experience was great. There was a capable doctor and his staff were kind. I came in with a pair of broken glasses and the offered to repair it for free.

I came here recently to get my routine eye exam and I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Ly’s service. He was very thorough and he was quite funny to talk to during the exam. The staff was great and was very helpful in picking out very stylish frames. The lenses were made in 30 minutes which I was very happy about. I would definitely come back for another routine exam.

I’ve had an issue with eye sensitivity throughout the years. I felt my previous optometrists cared little about my condition… as they simply said, «go buy eyedrops. Your eyes are just sensitive.» However, when I went to Dr. Cho, she actually told me that I had keratitis and that I should take x and y steps. She was super helpful and I was extremely grateful for her caring attitudes.
Afterwards, when I went back for a check-​up, I met Dr. Ly. Dy. Ly was caring as well! He looked at my records and told me how much my eyes had improved (I guess Dr. Cho had left some detailed notes). He was very friendly and gave me more suggestions to prevent another irritation.
Overall, I am very pleased with the service at Fremont Optometry. The staff is extremely nice and professional. They seem to work well as a team!

I’ve come here for several years now and Dr. Ly’s staff have been very helpful and friendly. Dr. Ly is thorough and takes his time to examine his patient’s eye condition and makes helpful recommendations. He is concerned about his patients and is diligent with his work. He’s very pleasant, professional, and funny. I have never experienced such a caring and compassionate optometrist. Kudos Dr. Ly!

I went there today for an eye exam and for some new glasses. I was greeted warmly when I went inside and the wait was not too long. I probably waited 5 minutes before getting my eye exam. Dr. Ly was very nice and helpful. He told me facts about my eyes that most optometrists failed to tell me. They were also very patient with me even though I spent almost an hour trying to decide what kind of glasses I wanted. They even gave me their opinion on what looked nice on me. Definitely would come back for glasses when I need them again :)

Dr. Ly is the best, & on top of being a good optometrist, they offer 1hr service for your glasses, FOR FREE my old optometrist at the Montebello Mall charges like $ 100 just to get your glasses in an hr: s so to come here and find out I’m getting my much needed glasses the same day and free of cost, made my day

I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 6 and I have seen many optometrists throughout my life and i must say, I’ve had the best experience with Dr. Ly and his staff in all my years of trying out different optometry places.
First off, Dr. Ly is very professional and detailed about his eye exams. I came in on a Saturday without an appointment and was called in about 5 minuets after I arrived. The exam only took about 30 minuets and after the exam, Dr. Ly took the time to explain some possible reasons why i have crazy high astigmatism and also warned me about some possible risk factors about my eyes that might lead to glaucoma in the future. After almost 20 years of eye exams this is the first time I’ve heard about this. It’s unbelievable how my old optometrists have simply missed or brushed off these warning signs about my eyes.
The second thing that really impressed me was how knowledgeable and friendly the staff were. They were able to find frames with the correct fit for my big head while recommending high index lenses and titanium frames to cut down on weight due to my high prescription. They also gave me an idea of how thick my lenses will be with diagrams and explained what the advantages of anti-​reflective coating and transition are. All in all the price of the frame plus lens was very reasonable and they were able to make my glasses in record time of 45 minutes. I will definitely be coming back next year along with my parents.

Dr. Ly was very professional and patient. I brought my little niece there and he was very good with kids. Dr. Ly was very detailed with his exam. Dr. Ly is also my own optometrist. After his exam I can definitely say I feel like he really cares about his patients. His exam was the most thorough exam I’ve ever had. So much better than my previous one (which I am not going to name… but they are pretty well known in the 626 area, and expensive). The staff was very nice and spent a lot of time helping us pick out perfect frame. Not to mention the glasses were done in less than a hour. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family

Dr. Ly is awesome at what he does. Very personable and welcoming. Walked in without an appt. and had my exam and new glasses in about 1.5 hours. To be honest, I’m not sure whether or not they are the best priced but they are definitely the fastest. I called a few places before deciding to come here only because my glasses broke and I can’t see, much less drivewithout them and they had anywhere from next day to a week turnaround time. I needed them like now!

Dr. Ly addressed the my earlier complain completely and professionally.
He helped me with the rebate that are for in-​store purchase only. I got my contact lenses with complimentary wears and 4 boxes of solutions.
