This is gonna be a long one…
TERRIBLE (!) service since the dealership was sold. I would give it zero stars if I could. Disclaimer– this is mainly due to management and new ownership’s absolute lack of organization. I feel bad for the employees (Gabriel, Abraham/​Al (?), Antonio) who are clearly stretched thin and have to deal with angry customer’s like me.
I bought a Versa here in 2007 and had all service done at Alhambra Nissan.
The service personal was courteous and knowledgeable (Greg comes to mind). Something happened, and the service department has turned over completely about 5 times in the last few years, with no employee remaining from the previous staff. I’ve been told a number of times that the new owner constantly transfers employees from other dealership locations with no one remaining for any length of time.
The service department is WOEFULLY understaffed! A previous poster is absolutely correct, that the wait time is about an hour on average to be checked in, with a line of cars snaking out of the service bay and out into the street, waiting. Yesterday, there were only 2 people working the service desk while about 9 cars awaited check-​in.
A number of the problems that I’ve encountered since the dealership was sold:
I bought a (second) extended warranty contract in January 2015 for close to 3 grand. I didn’t get any paperwork until April; and that was after badgering them weekly for a copy. I also requested a brochure of all items that my contract covered (like a brochure I had for my previous warranty). It took six months (!) — I received it in July… and that was after calling once or twice a week for months– being promised each time that it was on its way, walking in to the dealership about 5 times, getting the dealership manager (Jason– who’s also not there anymore) to call Nissan Corporate Headquarters while I was sitting in his office, e-​mailing back and forth for a month with Corporate. All for a simple brochure outlining coverage that they should have at the dealership!
I brought my car in for service a few weeks ago and was given a rental car per my warranty coverage. What I hadn’t noticed, and the dealership employee also failed to check, was that there was broken glass in the rear cabin. When my 2 year old daughter climbed into the car in her sandals, she cut both her feet. When I brought this to the attention of the service manager he half-​heartedly apologized and seemed more concerned that the previous renter had broken and replaced the window without telling them. I also told them that they left the paperwork for a number of previous renters in the glove compartment complete with their addresses and credit card info.
Last Friday, I returned the car for the same problems, in addition to fixing the automatic window motors. I left the car to be looked at on Saturday morning. I called several times on Saturday to find out the status and was told that the car was being looked at. As I had to plan for work and dropping my daughter at school on Monday I was concerned about having my car for the week. After calling again and waiting on hold for 20 minutes to speak to service, my wife drove me down there while I was on hold. I was still on hold while I was standing in the service department. Fed up, I walked into the showroom and asked to speak with the dealership manager. Antonio, the salesperson who helped me, said that he wasn’t available, but he would help me. He told me that the extended warranty department that approves warranty repairs was closed and that I would have to wait until Monday (what I was trying to avoid by bringing my car in on Friday). I was told that if I brought my car back on Monday, they would have a rental car waiting for me. Frustrated, I took my car home, though now, the driver side window would no longer close and was rolled down.
I returned yesterday (Monday) around 2:45 pm to drop off my car. I was told that the part (s) I needed wouldn’t be available until Tuesday or Wednesday, and to return my car then. I told them that I could not drive a car with a window that won’t close, exposing the contents and my car itself to theft. They stated that since my repair wasn’t classified as a safety issue (though they are fixing the suspension), that I didn’t qualify for a rental car under my extended warranty contract. I admittedly, get really angry and told then that I would not leave without a rental car that they would pay for, not me. I was finally given a rental at 4:20 pm/​
While I am extremely dissatisfied (pissed) with the dealership, I am grateful to employees like Gabriel, Antonio, Abraham/​Al (?), Christian (mechanic) and Jason (former manager), who have gone out of their way to help, while being subject to our ire.
Management needs to be replaced, the owner needs to be proactive and involved, and the employees need to be given adequate resources to do their jobs.

New day, it is Wednesday and my car is being held hostage by the dealer. I still have not received any calls and talked to Alicia the customer service lady more than I needed to. I have spoke to a manager in sales which gave me no help. Yes he took my number again and promise to call in ten minutes but now it is over a half an hour. Why does not anyone tell me about my car? This is the worse service in history. I need my car for work, does anyone care, is my car that hard to figure out for a recall and they offered to do the air filter and wheel alignment. Imagine it would be there six months. OMG! seriously where is my car? No one answers
They suck! This is the second time I went there and there service department is horrible. I figured I would give them a second chance but no way, never again. The only person who is top customer service is a sales person NEMO. He’s awesome and always takes time to greet me. However, I had an appointment at 10:15am today for my recall on Nissan Rogue. I went at 9:35 am only to stand in line an hour. there was two people working the customer service department and about half an hour later someone else came. it was horrible and already hot. They asked if I needed a shuttle but I would have to wait maybe more than an hour because the shuttle was out with clients and they were taking groups. What! I waited in a line now I have to work and there were others with appointments too and late to work. Now it is 5:52pm and I have not heard from them. I called at 5 and then 5:30pm only to leave messages but they close at 6pm. BYE BYE Alhambra Nissan never again

Terrible experience. Unprofessional impression right off the bat. Sales people outside smoking and cussing. Went in to look at a used vehicle and had to wait around forever to see the vehicle.

Worst service ever!!! Came in for an oil change and carwash, waited 20 minutes in line and 3 ½ hours for the service!!! The worst part is their was only a young female in front of me and she seemed to be getting all the attention!!! Will never come here again!!!

Did not buy a car but saw something disturbing today. Saw two brand new Sentra’s with the window stickers still on honking at other drivers and going way faster than the speed limit on main street in traffic.
1. I feel sorry for whoever ends up buying that car because it’s being hot rodded before engines even broken in by two Nissan employees.
2. They are being very disrespectful to other drivers on the road.

This place should seriously consider closing down. It should be NO stars but too bad Unilocal makes me too nice
I accompany my boyfriend whenever he needs some servicing for his car and we end up staying for the entirety of the day. Seriously to even just check in a fucking car here it takes about an hour. The workers just don’t know what the hell they’re doing and everything here is just chaotic.
My boyfriend had also purchased a car here a couple years ago only to find that they changed the coverage date and proceeded to threaten him that he would lose his car. You can literally see the guy crossing off the previous date he had told him.
I honestly don’t know how the hell this place is still in business. Apparently they are under «new management», but nothing seems to have changed. Still same old wait and same old workers not having a fucking clue of what they’re talking about.
Don’t waste your time here!!!

DEPLORABLE! TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY. MY Aunt purchased a new car on a limited income 6 months ago, she went in for a Oil change, she was upsold another car got her in a lease and her payment went up $ 150 not including insurance. THESE GUYS ARE SCUM BAGS!

if u buy a car here double check ur contract the finance guy sneaked maintenance plan after i said no.
And they will try to give u only one key when ur supposed to get two.
I was in a rush i didnt double check the contract and he got me.
Its been a while so i cant do anything now about it…
They where pretty nice n good service but i got taken.

Service was great! Bobby was very helpful and educated with advice and service. He did key reprogramming as well as performing transmission diagnostic and repairs. Car now works and drives like new. Done in adequate time and all with friendly professional attitude. Will come again for future service and repairs!

Slow working process? Or even worse than slow! I don’t want to give a star if I have a choice to leave comment with no star. They need to retrain their employees in service department. What a mess!!!

After checking for new cars on TrueCar, Alhambra Nissan were the first to contact us. They jump on it immediately! After speaking with Samantha (who was quite helpful) we decided to purchase the car from them. Samantha who was very helpful on taking us on a road test and showing us all the vehicle features unfortunately, had to turn it over to Henry V. the self titled sales manager. Henry then presented numbers and it was then we noticed an additional $ 1400.00 added to total of car. We inquired about the additional «ACCESSORIES» charges, they stated those are mandatory charges for services that’ll be provided. WTF!!! What charges? When questioning the hidden «ACCESSORIES» fees, we were told we had to pay set fees as they were non– negotiable. What a bunch of bullshit!!! They were trying to stick it to us for getting a discounted rate and them not making any money. We contest it, and soon thereafter they admitted they were trying to make money off of us. After feeling betrayed and lied to our face, they offered to discount half of the fees as they needed to show the «ACCESSORIES» fee on the sale invoice. It’s ridiculous to think they can deceive the consumer by simply renaming add-​ons which are nothing more than hidden charges to make up for discounts. At this point we realized the unprofessionalism, lack of transparent selling techniques and poor customer service they offered, so we high tailed it outta this scam infested dealership and purchase our car from Ryan DiMaria at Stadium Nissan. We highly recommend Ryan at Stadium Nissan for your future vehicle purchases.

We had a really bad experience at this location with the mechanics. It took them forever to just drop off the car — LIKE 2 HOURS! Yes, to drop off. Very rude and acted like they were victims because of being short handed!
I get a call a few weeks later asking how was my service and told them I will NOT go back after 6 years unless they change something or make it to where I would want to go back. She tells me someone will call me.
It’s been over 3 months and no one has called me. Alhambra Nissan lost not only my Nissan but our ENTIRE Nissan family! Their Loss!

As far as rating goes they should be 0. I bought a brand new 2016 Nissan two weeks ago from them and already I’m having problems. the navigation needs to be updated and they want to charge me $ 120.00. The car is two weeks old.
They are refusing to do the update for free. I guess they rather save $ 120.00 than to keep the customer happy.
this dealership needs to be closed down for good. These guy are the worst I seen. Please get the word out to other people. I left a message for their sales manager by the name of Alex Chin but so far nothing.
Alex (the sales manager) was supposed to call me back since 4÷23÷2016 in order to resolve this issue. So far I have not heard back from him yet.
I’m calling the Nissan consumer affair to have them reported.

This is my experience. First time bringing this car here, I had a problem with my transmission. I had brought in my car 3 times because the first two, they told me they had fixed the problem, obviously not. So, I guess the 3^rd time the charm. Got a rental car for a week, that worked out fine. But 3 times? Got it fixed finally.
Today, I have brought my car in for a reinstallment of my radio system because it doesn’t work. took them a month to get the order in. literally and I had to call them if they had it. for some reason they got it the 3^rd week but didn’t notify me. I did make an appointment at 9am and took it in. Was told that it would take a couple of hrs… For something like this it would take no more than 2 – 3 hrs max… its now almost 5 hrs, this is becoming ridiculous. I’ve been patient, but this is just bad. Idk if I’ll be coming back. It’s just a waste of my time really.

My recommendation is to avoid this dealership if at all possible!!! Read all Unilocal reviews first, not just mine!!!
This after purchasing two vehicles from them December 2015!!! Boy, can a business relationship go south FAST! No use in purchasing warranties because this dealership will not provide you with a rental car until you have spent 2 – 3 hours in their waiting room (not including the 25 minutes minimum just getting to an advisor parked in the driveway or on the street!) allowing them to diagnose your vehicle!

4÷2÷16 @ 12:02 pm. I called and scheduled an appt. for today since my 4 month old new car is making a very bad sound when using AC. I arrived at 12:35 (12:40 on my car clock since I always have it 5 minutes fast). Approached desk 10 minutes after arrival asking was there a separate line for appointments? Was told someone would be right with me. At 12:04 approached by Al in service who stated «it’s a Saturday» when I stated I’d been waiting 24 minutes with an appt. Al stated my blower motor was the issue and even though my vehicle was under warranty, 4 months old and I had an extended warranty Nissan doesn’t approve rental vehicles for repairs when a vehicle is deemed «drivable». Wtf?! I purchased 2 (two) vehicles in one day. Purchased extended warranties and when my vehicle has an issue where they can’t repair it that day I don’t get a rental car? In what world is that acceptable? The last visits I’ve had here were not the best but were handled professionally when the manager was forced to get involved.
I have been sitting inside waiting for another manager to approve a rental car for an additional 10+ minutes now.
The NEW service manager Brian Barnes told us that they wanted to diagnose the car for 2 – 3 hours (possibly until close of business) and if it was deemed «un-​drivable» for 8 hours then a rental car would be appropriate.
My vehicle had been in the same spot at the end of the driveway for over 45+ min. And He wanted to move my vehicle prior to discussion and threatened to have it towed when I stated I wanted the issue resolved first. I spent over an hour attempting to get my vehicle repaired without success!!!
Apparently, our business isn’t important anymore.
Actually, pretty disgusted by this whole experience.
This new service manager is useless, unprofessional and I won’t be coming back. I CERTAINLY won’t be purchasing another Nissan ever again. Especially since Tesla just came out with another electric car that gets double the mileage for less than I paid for the Leaf!

My first review is for the sales dept. And my second (below) is for the service Dept.
I found the dealership online while looking for a Leaf. The dealership had them marked down by almost $ 8500! $ 10 000 off if we wanted to lease it.
They only get 4 stars because the financing took so long and I pre-​approved online.
Otherwise Adrian and Anthony were attentive and even sold me another car I wasn’t planning on buying.
The Finance guy Mr. Varela (sorry forgot his first name) was funny and did the best he could as fast as he could.
The management worked the second deal and paid our first payment. Thanks for that.
I’d recommend.
Now for the service dept…
At first, I was put off by the large line. However, Jennee and Warren helped me professionally and courteously. I was able to get what was promised to me at purchase, my car cleaned and delivered to me promptly.

Okay so Alhambra Nissan contacted me and have informed they found me a lender. They also lowered my monthly payment. And they did let me know the letter I posted previously is computer generated. So all in all they went to bat for me by getting me a lender, and by lowering my monthly payments. Thank you Alhambra Nissan for coming through. And thank you Hugo for your time and patience.

I am amazed at how shitty this dealership is and here is why.
On February 12, 2016, I scheduled a test drive for the Nissan 370Z Coupe over the phone because my BMW lease is expiring in May 23, 2016. I made it extremely clear that I am car shopping and not looking to be pressured into leasing/​purchasing a vehicle.
I wandered aimlessly in the dealership with my salesperson looking for an automatic 370Z Coupe to test drive. Turns out, the car was parked remotely two blocks away and no one was interested in retrieving it for someone not interested in leasing/​purchasing.
The manager, Ernie, came over, offered to reduce the car price by $ 6k, ONLY if I lease/​finance the car on the spot. I continued to ask for a test drive, only to be told:
1) This price is available only for today
2) 370Z is a high-​end, luxurious car and we do not let people test drive them unless they are committed to taking the car with them
3) We do not want unnecessary mileage added to the car in consideration to the next buyer
Seriously? This is NO way to treat a potential client. I am upset at how uncomfortable and neglected I felt at this dealership.
DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CAN.

Terrible from beginning to end.
My fiancé had an appointment at 7:45am this morning. The early scheduling of this is another story but let’s move on… We got there at 7:35am and there was a line out into the street. I figured maybe they weren’t open yet so I parked while he waited with his car in the line. 10 min, 20 min no I’m sorry– ONE HOUR later he emerges from this cesspool saying that there was only one person checking in cars because three employees called out sick. WHAT??? There were no back-​ups that could come and help out???
They said it would take 3 hours. At 12:45pm he called to check in and they kept him on hold for 35 minutes trying to find someone in the service department because they didn’t have any information about his car. They kept saying «no one is answering or calling us back» and «we don’t know where your car is». Are you joking me? How the heck does that happen? No one is answering the phone? No one knows where his car is? Is this a place of business?
We drove back down there and his car was just sitting there with the windows open. He pointed it out and the service guy asked the mechanic of it was done and he says «yeah it’s been done for a while». But this is the kicker– When my fiancé finally went to pay they told him that they weren’t going to charge him for the tire rotation to compensate him for his inconvenience. When he saw the write up it clearly said «Did not perform tire rotation». He pointed that out to the cashier and the only answer was «sorry». This place is pathetic. He’s considering getting another brand of car after this experience– it is that bad. Save yourself and go to any other Nissan dealer. It has to be better, it just has to.
P. S. don’t expect a car wash either. You won’t get one.

Awful service department with a clear lack of management and customer care.
The service advisor for my car did not follow up or update me regarding a major issue with servicing my car. I was unable to get a hold of anyone for a week. I was left in the dark.
Thankfully was covered by Nissan warranty. Meanwhile, for work, I obtained a rental car that I was told Nissan would only cover for 5 days. Well, the work on my car didn’t actually start until the 5^th day! So now I’m stuck paying for a rental car out of pocket until I get my car back.
This morning, I was given the runaround 4 times until I finally got a response from the temporary manager, «Al,» who basically explained that their service department is overwhelmed, my advisor quit unexpectedly, the official manager wasn’t there and they are lacking enough technicians to keep up with all the work.
It sounds like their service department is falling apart and its affecting other customers from the sound of the most recent Unilocal reviews.
I read a very recent Unilocal review that experienced something very similar to my situation.
This sounds like a recurring pattern of problems with this department that is in UTMOST need to attention.
To save money on towing service, my car was towed to get serviced here, but I will not ever willingly bring my car back here again.

Back again for third and final advantage care package. Came to pick it up and they gave me the inspection report: everything was green, yay! My husband said one of my rear brake light wasn’t working so When I picked up the car I mentioned it and we checked the light and it still wasn’t working. (So, false inspection report?) he then said they’ll change the bulb in a few minutes so that’s cool.
