This is a top notch auto repair shop. I rarely write reviews, but I was so impressed with the level of service I received from Harry and all of his staff. I had received quotes from other places and went to Golden Gate on a recommendation. Harry immediately and thoroughly evaluated my car, explained everything clearly and quoted a fair price. What impressed me most was the extraordinarily high level of communication and service. They went above and beyond what was covered, and added several touches that made such a difference. If you need auto body repair, this is the place to go! Can’t recommend them enough!

Great service by Harry and team. Worked well with my insurance team as well. Made the experience of fixing my car after I got rear ended almost painless. Would def recommend this shop if you need any kind of body work.

Came here to fix up my front bumper and driver quarter panel. These guys were amazing! I had to go through someone else’s insurance, and harry told me to just drop off my car and he’d deal with everything. Came back about 10 days later and my car has never looked better. They even helped me install a speaker into my driver door at no cost. These guys are a class act, and though I’m hoping I won’t have to go back, I’d go back in a heart beat. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

A couple of weeks ago my car got rear-​ended and there was damage to the bumper and the air bag went off as well so I needed that replaced. Of course, I turned to Unilocal to look for a good, reliable place to get my car fixed and came across Golden Gate Collision.
I did compare and call a few places before coming across Golden Gate Collision but most were pretty rude on the phone or didn’t have time for making an estimate any time in the near future. However, here they were very accommodating and willing to have me drop in that very day.
The estimate process consisted of going over the damages and taking pictures but the entire time they simplified things and explained in a way that I could fully understand. I was overall very impressed by their knowledge and customer service and thus, decided to go ahead with the repair here.
I just got my car back a couple of days ago and I can truly say that I am 100% satisfied with the quality of work that was done to my vehicle. They paid very close attention to detail and my car looks as good as new! They even went above and beyond and printed out a list of parts of my vehicle that were recalled so that I could have those replaced! They also fixed a poor, sloppy spot paint job that the dealer had done after damaging my car while doing a routine service. Did I mention that they also had my car washed when I went to pick it up?
Overall, my experience at Golden Gate Collision proved that they deserve more than just 5 stars. They provide excellecent customer service, quality service, and they definitely go above and beyond what was expected. I highly recommend this establishment for any of your repair needs.

This is hands down the best body shop around. Harry will take care of you. I am one who gets emotionally tied to a truck. So back in September when someone hit my Tacoma causing front end damage I took it to him to get assessed.
Well when the at fault drivers insurance wanted to total my truck. He worked with my insurance so they could repair it and not have to lose my beloved truck!
He understands some people get emotionally tied to a car. Which he then prevented a nightmare from occurring.
Repairs took about 10 days which was fine by me. When they did the spraying of paint he asked how I wanted it, Since my hood was black color. He offered to paint it Matte black! Which made my Tacoma look 1,000% better
I highly recommend this shop. I left there after the repair looking the best it has ever been! They do amazing work. Thanks again guys. Thanks to you my truck is still pounding the streets !

D & M rock! Francisco is a rock star. I came in for fender issues with my Honda Fit, and the situation that Francisco came up with was both efficient, practical, and reasonable. I came in today to get my headlights restored, and they did an awesome job! My headlights turned out great (looks like brand new) and I was in & out in less than 20 minutes. It was a little difficult finding parking, but I was helped right away and he told me where to park. They were very professional and I would definitely recommend this place!

Recommended for repairs on my Ford by Albany Ford (also great) after being hit in a parking lot (I was not in the car at the time thank goodness). Harry was very responsive, proactive in communicating with me, and managed all the communication with the insurance directly to get everything done. Quality of work is excellent and just a pleasure to do business with and made the process totally painless. Additionally, they helped me take care of some other damage at very minor cost and buffed out some scratches on my husbands’ car when we were just asking for an estimate. HIghly recommend!

D & M managed the repair on my car beautifully from beginning to end. I was driving on the 80 when a semi truck ran over a 2 by 4 and shot it straight into the front grill of my car. I took it to the Subaru service to have them take a look and assess parts damage. They suggested D & M for the body work. What made it more complicated was that I was heading out of the country for business and communication wasn’t easy. My insurance (AAA) didn’t make things any easier. Through it all D & M managed things with the utmost professionalism. Just picked the car up tonight and they did a terrific job. So thankful that I found my way to them.

Harry took over from the previous owners who were great, and like anyone with changes I was a little skeptical. But these guys have painted two cars for me and did a clean up job after some jerk threw some oily crap on my new car. We had a misunderstanding about this last job and I got a little sore and had to come back to pick it up, but Harry was kind and accommodating to even an irritable customer. He and his crew are good people, they’re into cars and do great work. I can’t recommend them enough.

Totally satisfied! My Lexus got hit and the passenger side doors were messed up pretty badly and needed to be replaced. I heard about D&M through a colleague and decided to give them a try rather than going through the auto shops that were authorized through my insurance company. Harry took care of everything which saves me a lot of headaches. More importantly, he stayed in constant communication with you. When the work was completed, couldn’t even tell I was in an accident and it was completed a few days ahead of what was promised which is always a good sign of a great company… under promise and over deliver! Highly recommend this business!

The best body shop ever. I had them work on my truck it looks brand new again. Work was done timely staff is great. Most of all they don’t try to ripp you off.

I felt compelled to write a review because quality customer service deserves recognition. Harry runs the shop and is very communicative and honest. I had a bad scrape on my car due to a hit and run at a Trader Joe’s. I asked Harry for a quote as I wasn’t sure I was going to use insurance. He gave me a very fair price. Ultimately due to the accident not being my fault and Harry pointing out the Unilocal check-​in $ 100 deductible discount, I used my insurance instead.
I did check out a couple of auto body shops before D&M but I immediately felt comfortable talking to Harry as I could tell he ran a professional business and he was sympathetic to my cause. I had no doubt his team would repair my car perfectly! He never forgot to remind me about the Unilocal deal and went above and beyond to include services not covered by my insurance. D&M is the best! These guys were absolutely great! I came in with a simple upgrade for my Subaru, some fog lamps. They were able to turn the car around same day, dropped off and picked me up at my house. Not only that, a curtesy wash on my car made it looking extra slick after the upgrade! Next time i need some work on the car, I will definitely be coming back.

I am a repeat customer at D&M Auto Body since 2010. The previous owners were excellent. I came back to this shop a few weeks ago unaware of the change in ownership. Harry and crew are outstanding! The workmanship, the customer service, the attention to detail — what a great experience. No need to shop around for estimates if you wanna save time, money, and frustration!
