Visited Pippa & Co for the wonderful workshop Maryanne Moodie had set up for her weaving classes and left quite charmed by this little shop. Spotted plenty of adorable party favors knick knacks and gifts and picked up a card for a friend’s birthday that was approaching. Conveniently just a bus ride way from BART. I believe it’s also a great venue to host birthday parties for young ones.

I ADORE this store! This is just what Alameda needed. Cute, hip, cool party items and ideas. SUPER FUN!

Adorable and absolutely fabulous. Years ago I only new of Pippa as an online presence. One day I ran across the boutique and couldn’t believe my eyes! This is a wonderful party themed gift boutique with functioning items you will use to stage the setting you desire. Totally cute nic-​nacs and over sized balloons. Tassles that can be made to order and tons of other cute items for gifting. They also have crafting classes. This place is just bursting at the seems with glitter, pastel, neon and Coachella-​chic. I love this place and if you could cut me open and see my soul this is what it would look like. If this makes me a creep, I’ll take it!

Just popped into Pippa & Co. for some party décor and was it was amazing! Beautifully set up with great products, Lisa was so sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back again and would love to bring some friends with me for one of the workshops!

This store is filled with wonderful, one of a kind, items for all of your parties! From baby showers to birthday parties, bridal showers to weddings, they’ve got you covered! The owner, Lisa, creates a visual journey through the store. Do yourself a favor and put a little extra change in your meter and take the time to peruse through all the tables and shelves to see all the décor, party ware and gifts for yourself and your loved ones!
I came in for balloons and they helped me create a wonderful arrangement at the «Balloon Bar.» It’s there that I got to choose balloons in different sizes and colors. I pre-​ordered them and they were ready for me the next morning. They were one of the highlights of our party and even lasted long after the party was over! One of their specialty balloons are the really large, round balloons that I’ve seen on Instagram and in bridal magazines. So glad that there’s a place on the island that carries them! I will definitely get one for my next party.
Pippa & Co. also hosts workshops. I’ve had the pleasure of taking the weaving class here and the instructor, Ama Wertz, did such an amazing job at teaching the class. She brought in all kinds of great materials to show us. I love that Lisa finds such passionate instructors who are also locals. I’m hoping that they post more dates for the modern calligraphy class!

I had read about this party store in The SF Chronicle and had it in my calendar to make the drive across the Bay Bridge for a quick visit. I ended up having to put more money in the parking meter because an hour wasn’t enough time for me to quietly walk and examine each display unit around this small, charming shop.
Arlene was working at the time and proved to be the ideal help: Cheerful, knowledgeable about selection and use, and quiet when I was enjoying the tactical experience of browsing through an entire store. Also, a big shout out to her for taking a few pictures of me for my Instagram feed. (Do you guys know this store has a selfie wall?)
As someone who has spent countless hours surfing online to find unique, fun and funny items to enhance parties I’m hosting, I found Pippa & Co. a delightful pleasure. Tucked away on a non-​descript street, it’s a hidden gem filled with moments of cute overload. There were actual times I got visibly upset at how adorable items were.
An hour and a half later, and after several harsh edits with my overall purchases (I guess the ice cream cone pinanta can wait, huh?), I walked away with party hats for a TBD birthday, a playful tatttoo for a girlfriend’s toddler, chocolate bars with original flavors like milk chocolate + carmelized waffle cone, and a great selection of artfully designed cards. I was a super happy camper.
Prices lean towards the higher side, so if you’re used to Party City prices and selection, this place is not for you. Then again, if you just want to get inspired by paper goods or party items that you think you can DIY later, a duck into this store is worth it. (The window display of their oversized dip-​dyed ombré tassels is enviable.)
It just opened late last year so I’m truly looking forward to further developments like a more comprehensive tutorial schedule and an online direct sales channel. For now, if you spot anything swoon-​worthy on their IG feed, give the store a call and they’ll place the order for you. I was told that the store continues to curate different selections throughout the months giving me all the more reason to make future trips out east.

Amazing store! So many wonderful decorating ideas in one place. The owner aims to please and is very knowledgeable about design, color, etc. I am from out of town, but I wish that every town would have a Pippa & Co. Congratulations!!!

Cute, unique, and friendly service! Went in to look for baby shower decoration and found cute wooden spoons for the baby food tasting game. Interested in buying the inflatable animals, but will need to do my research since they were a little on the expensive side.

I wanted this store to be so fun and new… boring. I have been to so many stores just like it I can’t count. And this certainly wasn’t the best of them. The classes were WAY overpriced and un-​original. I got my daughters picture done a couple of times but the backdrops were always so similar. And while the store owner was seemed nice, I never got a chance to say hello. She was always talking to the photographer. Maybe I came in on a bad day, but this really upset me. I wouldn’t come here if I needed anything, that’s for sure.

Your Instagram is fun! But your store really let down. You also didn’t have a lot of my favorite brands I was hoping to find like Rifle Paper. SERIOUS LET DOWN.

I was excited to place a large order for my son’s first birthday. However, the balloons had to be picked up on Saturday at closing for his party on Sunday. Pippa is not open Sunday. Sunday morning the balloons were looking very sad and by the end of the party they had deflated to about a third of their original size. I also ordered a huge balloon that was supposed to be white with red polka dots and when I finally saw it the polka dots were pink. If I had known that the balloons would not make it through the night or the party I never would have ordered them. I know helium does not last forever but I told the cashier the party was on Sunday and I was given no reason to think they may not last. I don’t want to give any stars and I will never have balloons at a birthday party again.

I came across this gem when searching for balloons for my twins birthday. The party goodies are unique and the balloon bar is awesome!
With me being crafty, I love that they offer classes too! I’m looking forward to taking one soon!

This sweet store has some unique, gender/​theme neutral, quality party supplies that add a touch of whimsy to your party. The owner put together a big, fun balloon bouquet that really added some life to the photos at my sons 3^rd birthday party. I will definitely be a return customer, especially now that the Party Warehouse has closed down. I took off one star because the store is pretty small and didn’t have that much to choose from. I love the front window display!

I work down the street from this shop and it’s AMAZING! Lisa is super sweet and helped me pick out some super cute V-​Day items for my fiancé! There are soo many wonderful little gems in her store. I love the idea of workshops and can’t wait to try one someday soon! I will definitely be back!

Pippa & Co is my new favorite. I am always thinking of an excuse to go in (even if I don’t have a party to plan) because the owner is so darling and helpful — and the store is so lovely. Whether you are throwing a cocktail party for your girls or a toddlers birthday, pippa is your one stop shop for high quality on trend party décor. The items are curated to prrrrfection with an eye on sustainability — everything I’ve purchased I’ve been able to reuse as home décor!
My daughter participated in the very reasonably priced mini photo sessions with sweet themed backdrops — perfect for holiday cards or invites. I’m looking forward to trying out one of the workshops soon!

Pippa + Co is exactly what Alameda needed, an adorable store front with the most amazing goodies inside. Lisa and I have extremely similar taste and I love stopping in to get inspiration and see what classes and workshops she has in store. I treated myself and my mom to a fun calligraphy class and loved making a wreath in one of her floral workshops. I’m also thankful to have a place other than Target to run in and get cute party accessories. Love, love, love this store!

Not as big of a selection as I had hoped for and didn’t really give me ideas as I was hoping for when I was really wanting to hire them to do the party for me. Disappointed.

Adorable little shop for high end party supplies, and they also offer classes. If you love what you see on Pinterest entertaining boards, but aren’t crafty or patient enough to make it yourself, you may find it here. «Done for you» comes at a higher price tag than DIY though, so be ready. Owner was super friendly — hoping they’re able to make it work.

Very cute store and a perfect addition to Alameda. I went in today to look for birthday supplies for my daughter’s upcoming party. There isn’t a ton of inventory yet, but everything they have is classy, simple and tasteful. Lisa, the owner is friendly and not pushy at all. I ended up buying a simple but unique. balloon arrangement that will not go unnoticed at the party! It will be a unique decoration– much better than the standard dozen balloons I intended to buy. I will definitely go back every time I am looking for items for a party. Love this store. Loved the owner and I think they will do great in this town. Yay! More cool stores in alameda!

This place is basically hidden between a nails salon and a bar. It’s a strange location for a party store. Kamakura the place that has terrible service and serves rubbery fish is across the street (bonus review, you’re welcome).
Anyways, I expected Pippa&Co to be special, different, exciting, etc considering that their Instagram photos boast all that, but it wasn’t.
The shop is small, the front half has tassels or party streamers whatever you call them hanging in the window. There’s one center table and 2 walls (small) sparsely filled with things I’ve seen before. Not fun. The back half of the store is empty. I’m guessing she’s going to have her workshop there. But do I want to spend $ 35 to learn how to gift wrap? Not really. I can probably learn all that stuff on the Internet. And $ 150 to carve spoons? No thank you.
Workshops at a party store isn’t the most original idea. It’s been done before by countless people, and done better. The classes here aren’t interesting. I expected more out of this place. And I don’t know about her party planning, but I will not pay someone to plan my party unless it’s a wedding. I mean, seriously, in this day and age. Go to Pinterest people. Get inspired. Do it cheaper, do it better.
3 stars because she tried and it isn’t that bad. I mean I wouldn’t buy anything, but the place was moderately cute.

It’s like I had a dream about a perfectly curated and styled shop and then it came true! I literally can not stop gushing about this sweet little gem.
Lisa, the owner, is sweet as can be, and totally helpful without being pushy. She tells me creative workshops and even custom parties are coming soon…
The shop itself is stocked with everything from adorable party supplies (a balloon bar!) to Jess Brown dolls, letterpress cards and delicious smelling candles. Although the price point for some items can be high, there is truly something for everyone here — i. e a set of colorful appetizer plates for a mere $ 10.
This is the answer for anyone looking for some original and festive décor for their next bash. I am already making pathetic attempts to come up with an excuse to have a party just so I can snatch up some more bunting flags, confetti and paper goods. A fabulous addition to Alameda and totally worth the trip from Oakland or SF!
