CompoClay is a cutting-edge, green material that has the ability to emulate everything from wood and metal to concrete and pottery without sacrificing safety and durability. CompoClay — a raw material mainly made up of minerals, water and sand — is an alternative to the common hazardous components, such as resin and polyurethane foam. CompoClay offers stylish, eco-friendly home décor, garden ornaments, building materials and architectural moldings.

History

Established in 2004.

CompoClay was founded to address concerns around sustainability and safety amongst existing materials in the home décor and building industry. Commonly used materials, such as resin, polyurethane foam, engineered wood, gypsum and glass-reinforced cement, pose negative impacts to human and environmental health. After seven years of research and development, CompoClay introduced a revolutionary alternative, a raw material that had the unique characteristics of being eco-friendly, safe, durable and versatile for design.
