Lim’s TaeKwonDo Academy

Trained with Elite Kicks for about 6 years and taking classes there was one of the best decisions of my life. The instructors are very organized, professional and kind. The master there is Grand Master Lim, who is currently an 8^th degree Black Belt and is well known worldwide for his success in Taekwondo. I recommend Elite Kicks 100%. If you are unsure, you should definitely go to just try it out!

Always welcoming. The staff (Tammy & Master Lin) are so nice and offer a great Tae Kwon Do academy. I would recommend this place to any and everyone of all ages.
If you are looking to get into this sort of sport this is the only place to go. You can pop in on any day to see classes of all ages and skill level in action.

I couldn’t be happier.
My husband (who is a Captain in the Army) and I run a pretty tight ship with our son. Disciple and respect are high on our priorities for values that we instill. We had previously enrolled our son in another martial arts academy and had been supremely disappointed with both the cost and the lack of structure/​discipline.
We were invited to come observe a class by our neighbors (whose son is enrolled). They are Korean and had emphasized the traditional style that Masters Lim and Young used to teach the children.
One of the first things that I noticed was that even though my son was at the low end of the totem pole (a 6 yr old white belt) his class was not led by a teenager, as his previous school had been. Both Masters took turns teaching the children. They both have different teaching styles and sincerely compliment each other. As previously stated by another reviewer, each Master knows EACH child’s name; they take the time to get to know every child and adapt their specific teaching methods to that particular child’s needs.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the discipline. They do it in a way so that they instill respect, not fear, into the child. My son WANTS to have better manners, eat his vegetables, do better in school, focus harder because he wants to earn the respect of his Masters.
Many of the children come from a 2 working parent household. Master Lim offers a shuttle service from some schools so that the children will be able to attend class. They genuinely care about each and every child.
Price … VERY REASONABLE. I pay $ 150/​month for 3 classes a week.
Overall, it is an atmosphere of love, respect and education. Again, I couldn’t be happier.

I have been attending this Tae Kwon Do studio since October of 2008. I’m writing this review with a little doubt because for me this place is a well hidden treasure that I would like to keep to myself.
7^th degree Grand Master Lim and 5^th degree Master Young Kim are in the helm of teaching this exciting Korean martial art. The studio is small but comfortable and houses as many as 20 adult students at a time. Both Grand Master Lim and Master Young know all of their students by name and are more than willing to stay after class to help with any kind of questions one might have.
Since I started classes here I have always felt welcome by every student in the class and the learning atmosphere is very strict yet still enjoyable. Everyone is pushed to their limit in this class and dedicated Tae Kwon Do players will be the ones to get the most of their challenging teaching methods.
They charge either contract based – which will save you money for a 1 to 2 year commitment – or month by month – which is still manageable. All in all, this is one of the best places to come practice Tae Kwon Do with its excellent teaching staff and competitive prices. Highly recommended.
