I got some uniforms done here, didn’t take too long to have the bravo jackets updated with rank and stripes. The place has a lot of items and it’s near the base which helps.

Thank you Dee Bees you truly are the uniform experts. I dropped off two uniforms that needed patching and pressing on a Saturday and they were ready on Monday! There prices are also very reasonable and always help you with a smile. Don’t be fool by the one or two bad reviews these guys are the best!

Sometimes working through official channels to get uniform items is a real hassle. Today, the UDC was not taking orders for whatever reason. I have never failed to walk into Dee Bee’s or call them (as I did today) and get what I needed, pronto. Today it was a used, long-​sleeve dress shirt, size 16. Yup, they had it and it will be on my doorstep within a couple days. Do they cost a little more than «official» sources, yes, but the quick response and good service is well worth avoiding the inconsistencies and red tape of the formal channels. Good people and a helpful business.

Dee Bee’s is the Business! Last minute uniform items that arent available anywhere else are available here. My previous drycleaning experience at another vendor proved to be very hostile and quite expensive. Thanks to «Uncle Frank» and the folks at Dee Bees I now pay nearly half of what I was paying before and the service is always with a smile.

It’s very unprofessional to talk crap about customers right in front of a customer. My husband needed a new rank put on his sleeves of a dress uniform but they wanted to charge $ 55 to do it. I found out that the alteration services at the exchange does it for $ 20 which is a little over half the price. So I had my husband call them to tell them never mind that we found some place else to do it cheaper. They said okay, however when I went in today to pick up the jacket they were pretty rude about it. The one guy talked about it the other guy very loudly and then questioned me on whether on not the exchange would do a good job. That is so unprofessional, and kind of threw me off guard.
I’m almost positive that had it been my husband picking up the jacket nothing would have been said. You have some nerve questioning my decision. The customer is always right! My husband brings business to your shop all the time but now we will think twice before using you again.

This place is the BEST! Exellent work, incredibly fast and very friendly! The shop is amazing! I had a messenger bag labeled with embroidery, and it turned out PERFECT! would definite recommend with 5 stars!!!

Dee Bee’s is the place to go. A few years ago they already helped me with an excellent redo of embroidery on an old jacket and it turned out fabulous. For some reason unknown to myself, for my latest project I decided to go with a different shop. I did not like the final result from the other shop. I went to Dee Bees to see if they could fix it and they were super nice about spending the time to remove the ugly embroidery job and start over. Their pricing is very reasonable and I’m pretty sure that removing the previous stitching was tedious and time-​consuming. The redo, though challenging on the thin material, came out very nice. Outstanding service. They are fast with the turn-​around, and Joel the handsome fella behind the counter is super helpful and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend this place

I was looking for some official gear to wear to the Elite event at the Unilocal Flight Night at the Aviation Museum in Oakland. Dee Bee’s tailors in Alameda has everything from casual dress to formal wear for enlisted and officers dress. Plus they can alter the clothing if need be, thank goodness I can fit off the shelf but I’m sure they would do a great job on alterations.
They outfitted me for the night so I could be Captain Jim, Air Force aviator and flight captain. Based in Oakland, California acourse. From the the shirt to the captain’s bars and aviator wings, they have it all. It was great how knowledgeable the staff was on what officers wear. I like the accessories they have: boots, jackets, shirts, caps and helmets, knives, gas masks, vintage officer accessories. Really neat plus they have reasonable prices.
Who is impersonating an officer? Next time I’m going to purchase the officer’s dress coat. I will fly once again.

I asked them to take in a soft shell jacket, and Wow, it looks great! Price was very fair, the staff is super friendly, and they went out of their way to be helpful. I will definitely use them again. Another gem here on this awesome little island, thanks Dee Bee’s.

i love this place, they always do a great job and they are super fast. i’ve had them do a few embroidery jobs for me.

The best! I’ve been in the military a long time and these guys are amazing! They get the measurements right and the quality is amazing. The dry cleaning beats anyone in Alameda and the turn around time is fast and quality.

I’ve purchased several CGAUX AUXAIR shoulder insignia from Dee Bee’s and found their service to be terrific: reasonably priced and quick turnarounds. The last time I sent them a check, I had my insignia within two weeks and a check for the amount I overpaid. Did I mention they’re honest, too?
Thanks to Aircraft Commander Fred Simmons for telling me about this place, I was wearing surface ops insignia on my flight suit my first day as a TO.
