Allstate Insurance: Toni Lum

Came in to get a quote for car insurance, Annie was very helpful and friendly. I was with Farmers Insurance for over 15+ years, But Annie got me a even cheaper rate! Also met owner Toni Lum who was also friendly and helpful and came by to say Hi on here way out. They don’t try to sell you additional stuff, basically told them what i wanted and gave me a quote. There was an option for the platinum protection but they told me for my coverage it wasn’t necessary! I like that they were honest! I highly recommend seeing Annie and Toni for your insurance needs!!!

I never really talked to Toni herself but the real MVP of that office is Annie, I guess she is the office manager /​admin of Toni’s. I was looking more so specically for a personal car insurance that supports ridesharing like Lyft and Über locally for the state of Hawaii and after going through numerous insurances Toni Lum via AllState Insurance was where it is at! I was actually really surprised because I was ready to accept rejection but Annie told me to wait and hold off to see if there is a way. Low and behold I got a phone call back and bam she was able to set it up! Indeed, I was in good hands thanks to Annie, again the office manager doing all of these. I am sure Toni helped in the process but that was how effective the customer service was. Annie was able to help guide me through the process and negotiate a suitable rate for my insurance needs case. This was all done via phone calls without even having to step into office which is located in ‘Aiea. I was also about to get the insurance cards and everything in time and everything. Big mahalo to Toni Lum and especially to Annie, the office manager for the huge assistance in helping me meet my personal car insurance needs!

This office is like an Oasis in the desert. As soon as you walk in I feel like I want to buy a traveling ticket. Palm potted plants. Hawaiian music. So cool and relaxing. Owner and staff are so so genuine nice. Super knowledgeable. When the office hours are up, Toni continues to have her phone going. So much to say. You got to come in and find out for yourself. If she doesn’t have the answers, she’ll definitely find it for you. «Living Aloha», is what she lives for.

I only went in for a renter’s insurance policy but was pleasantly surprised at the extremely friendly and professional service I received. Toni truly cares about her clients and will work hard to not only help you and get you a good rate, but also teach you about the process and walk you through everything. She was able to save me hundreds a year! I was so impressed that I ended up also getting a new policy for auto insurance as well, which I was not expecting because I have been a Geico customer for years. This was the best experience I have ever had with an insurance agent, and the first time I have ever felt like I am in good hands. I would highly recommend her to everyone I know!

As I was going through the car buying process, I had to get a new insurance policy. I called my previous insurance company that my family was under but they didn’t seem like they wanted to help me out. The agent was busy (which was understandable) but his tone and demeanor made it seem like I wasn’t worth his time. I got a quote from him and was quickly ushered off the phone.

She asked me several questions and she was able to get it lower than what I would have been paying with the other company. Why? Because she took enough time (just a couple of minutes, really) to ask the right questions and find out what best suited me. She got me set up over the phone while I was at the dealership with no problems at all.
