History

Established in 1983.

The Cantu Family has been in the pest control business for two generations. The first generation was represented by Carlos H. Cantu who served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Terminix International, and ultimately, the Chief Executive Officer of The Service Master Company. Mr. Cantu learned the pest control business both domestically and internationally by heading up the Mexican operations headquartered in Mexico City for Terminix and later became the leader of the worldwide organization.

Today, Cantu Pest Control has a staff of over twenty highly skilled and trained associates serving over 6,700 residential and commercial customers in the Dallas/​Fort Worth Metroplex. We continue to strive to be the best pest control company in the Dallas/​Ft. Worth market. Business Owner

The second generation is led by Albert Cantu, who joined the business in 1985. During his tenure, he has served in every operational capacity in the Terminix business including President and Chief Operating Officer of the company. Mr. Cantu also served as a Group President for The Service Master Company before leaving the company in 2006. He continued to pursue opportunities in the pest control industry. As an Executive Partner for Waud Capital Partners, he led their investment strategy in the consumer services sector.

Mr. Cantu has known the opportunities for any entrepreneur in this business were significant, and in 2009 acquired Express Pest Control based in McKinney, Texas. Mr. Cantu has continued to build the business by providing exceptional customer service and expanding the company by strategically acquiring companies such as Complete Pest & Termite Control, Discount Pest & Lawn and Impact Pest Services.
