Wow… Pony is amazing. I found her on Unilocal and have seen her twice already. She really knows human body. I work out a lot, so my body is constantly in pain, my muscle is always so tight. Unlike other masseur, either not enough pressure or too much pressure, she worked her way to slowly add more pressure throughout the session. I feel 100 times better after. I would totally recommend her to anyone.

I’ve gotten many massages in Thailand, but none compare to how good this massage was at Yims. She knew which parts of my shoulder and back had problems and she focused on those areas. I walked out feeling more relaxed than ever. This massage was definitely the highlight of waikiki for me.

Definitely a bad experience with this place. We ordered a 90 mins massage and the lady was rushing the all time. I usually like my massage firm but when I tell her to go firmer, she didn’t listen to me. I couldn’t feel anything during the massage. Not good!

Outstanding massage for me and my partner. First time Thai massage for me and it was excellent. Very relaxing as well as therapeutic. We were fortunate to get an appointment soon after we called. Both therapists made us comfortable immediately. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for relaxation, loosening up and help from jet lag. I hope to return before I leave for home. We were looking for a good massage at a reasonable price in Waikiki and we found a gem! No frills but the massage therapists were among the best I’ve ever had. They diligently worked out the knots and used just the right amount of pressure. This will be a place I will definitely come back to on my next trip to Hawaii!!!

I waited only 10 minutes for my appointment. I was greeted with water. The therapist was very polite. However she needed more training. The blood supply to both my arms were cut off when she dangled them over the table despite my protests. My feet were cold with air-​conditioning blowing on them. She used what look like mineral oil on my skin which is not good for your skin. It was painful. There was no softening up of the muscles prior to going deeper in. It was a Swedish massage or deep tissue definitely not a time massage which I’ve had many many times. I’ve had probably close to 500 massages in my life, if she had some more training I go back. This definitely was not professional level sorry to say. She’ll be a good therapist but she needs a lot more training and classes.
Also the music is a fast pace review of oldies. The fast tempo is not conducive to relaxation during massage

I love Thai massage since I was a kid, really like it strong might hurt a bit but always feel good after.
So I requested to her to give me a hard level and after that still too light then I told her again. So she switched with another girls.
This time it was really strong and she forced me to be relax by telling me a whole time but I really can not because it is not feel comfortable at all.
I try to be patient whatever she did. Because I don’t want she to feel I m picky and just hope it will get better but it is a terrible hour I never had T_​T
I really don t know because the place is suck or is not a professional enough to make me feel relax.
By the way, I am Thai !!!
I know and understand everything what u both talked behind me :(really feel bad to hear that.
But I did not say anything, pretending that I m not Thai because too shame to get to know u both.

Tina was amazing! Knew exactly how to balance the pressure so that it was therapeutic but not too painful. LOVED the stretching! Gave very good advice.

I want to start by saying that in my life ive easily had gotten over 200+ massages because of the work and activities i do. I have to say this is the hands down best value massage.
The lead massage therapist Pony is great at what she does. Ive had many of her othere therapist who are also great but she has to be the best.
The great thing about this place is their attention to detail with problem areas. The last time i came here i had a large knot in my calf muscle. It was a little painful but now my ankle has full range of motion now.
Another thing is the therapists here have a lot of knowledge to share. If you have any problem you may have with your muscles from your face to your feet they have an answer. Im a big fan of human anatomy so this is helpful in my quest for knowledge.
Id have to give them a 4.5 because 5 is perfect. They deserve this for their inexpensive 50dollar massage, attention to detail, minimal to no use of oils, and friendly staff. I have many stories about this place but a review isnt place for that. All i can say this is my favorite spot to take care of my aches and pains.

Had I booked a massage here without reading reviews, this would have been a completely different review.
But I do my homework.
I booked a 90 minute massage with Tina. Communication is not so great. I think its a combination of language barrier and cultural differences. But we sorted it out. Love that she texts.
Having read prior reviews, I was prepared for a no-​frills experience. I wasn’t prepared for the UBER no-​frills (The room is super super small and there’s nothing to it). You can hear the street noise a bit and the AC is not the greatest. Its next to the new Hula’s Bar and Grill (don’t let that deter you… its not that bad… but I was there during the early part of the afternoon). All this aside, when you pay $ 50/​hour you can’t expect the Four Seasons.
There are several massage businesses in this tiny hallway. Make sure you know which one you’re going to! It says WAIKIKI THAI MASSAGE on the door.
Also: THE BUSINESS IS LOCATED ON THE 2ND FLOOR. Suite 216. The website says Suite 700. DO NOT GO TO THE 7TH FLOOR.
The room next door was doing some very annoying, very noisy project. For the first 15 – 20 minutes there was intermittent LOUD banging and screw gun sounds. Tina finally made a phone call and it stopped shortly thereafter. I can put up with a certain amount of noise… but this was kinda ridiculous. Very Jarring. Had it gone on for much longer without her addressing it I probably would have ended the session early. Kudo’s for that.
I was very pleasantly surprised that her massage was lotion/​oil — less. She used a towel/​cloth as a buffer and the entire massage was Shiatsu-​like (I love Shiatsu!!!) with a bit of the back walking stuff too. I didn’t care much for her back walking technique but her finger work was pretty good. I had to ask for stronger pressure a couple of times (I like it when it hurts so good!) and it was never as hard as I would have liked, but it was sporadic in its application. Sometimes it hurt, other times it was too light. So in the end I put up with the light times because the strong times were good.
All in all I was happy with the massage. Not Five-​star Happy, but I would probably go back. I think, maybe, I’ll try the other girl next time.
Oh, and its true what someone said about the underwear sign… «No Underwear, No Service». I thought it was funny. But after the face up leg portion of the massage I understood why. You’ll have your HooHah out for airing if you don’t. Best to Comply… Glad I read the other reviews before coming here… I’m known to go commando from time to time. {:-O

I found Yim-​Siam through Unilocal and appreciated the heads up about the location. Once you find it — all is great. Wonderful massages (I had one on my layover night in and one on my layover on the way out). I’ve had Thai massages in Thailand and San Francisco. If I lived in Honolulu I’d have one here every week.
Reasonable prices. Excellent skills. Very personable.

Wow. I had put off getting massage here about three times because it sounded questionable. Who runs a massage studio out of a hotel room? And the person on the other end of the phone didn’t sound very hospitable. But what’s the worst that can happen, and all the other reviews looked good.
Best $ 50 I ever spent on the island! My wife and I got a massage at the same time and it was perfect! Especially after 3 straight days of surfing. No frills, no spa treatment, just a great massage! We come to Oahu every year and this has instantly become our fave stop.
Highly recommend!

I’m new to massages so I’m no authority but I found this to be an awesome experience. The lady is very nice and is obviously a master of her craft. I wish she lived nearby — I would become a regular.
One thing that Unilocal has wrong here though is that this place does NOT accept credit cards — cash only. There’s an ATM in the hotel lobby

After a week of sleepless, tossing and turning nights, I finally built up the courage to make an appointment with Pony. I NEVER got a massage before so I had no idea what to expect.
As I was headed to the hotel, pony was nice enough to let me use her parking space so I didn’t need to use money parking at the zoo. The location itself was easy to find. As soon as I entered, she asked that I undress and leave my underwear on. I was self conscious of course, but she assured me that I will be under a sheet so I wouldn’t expose anything.
The massage itself was AMAZING. This is not the typical, massage spa most women expect. This lady gets down to business! There’s no gentle touches here. She will really get in there and get rid of any knots she can find. It hurt SO good! My neck and shoulders were in so much pain & I felt like a new woman walking out. During the massage, I think she was walking on me, lol. But man, whatever she was doing made my legs so relaxed! She found tightness in my legs I didn’t even know was there!
I recommend Pony for anyone who needs relief from their pain. She is AMAZING! She is such a nice lady & a funny one too. I’ll be making monthly appointments from now on :)
