A line seemed to popped up literally out of nowhere at about 9:30−10am. I’d advise you to turn up earlier than this if you want to walk in for a table and have a wait of less than 10 minutes. I tried the pancakes with bacon and found it to be alright but not amazing. This was due to most of the syrup ending up over the bacon rather than my pancakes making the bacon far too sweet for my liking and the pancakes dry without the syrup. The potatoes however were a saving grace of the meal and I polished the side dish I ordered of them off quick smart and wished I had just ordered a few more round of those instead. My tea arrives in a mug meaning serious business and no faffing about with mini cups, teapots and milk jugs which I appreciated. The interior has a lovely diner feel to it and it a pleasant location to spend time with friends over breakfast/brunch catching up. I would recommend!

These guys specialise in brunches and doing it right! A bit of a local institution and is regularly queued out on the street while waiting on tables! You can eggs anyway you like them, pancakes with everything, smoothies, milkshakes, coffees and the best freshly squeezed orange juice. These guys are good at what they do and do it well. Only negative was that the service was a bit slow as it was so busy!

We were looking for somewhere local for breakfast and well… this place seemed fitting. The quirky vintage décor and friendly staff were very welcoming. We managed to grab a table outside which was lucky as the place filled up quite quickly. I would recommend getting there early if you don’t want to wait for table. I had the Veggie Pancakes with eggs, veggie sausage, home fries, pancakes and maple syrup. Yum! I am slightly obsessed with the savoury food and maple combo. My boyfriend had the Fully Monty and he seemed very pleased with his decision. Overall the meal was very pleasant.

I’ve been for a coffee in a couple of the other branches before and have been waiting for an excuse to have a Breakfast Club brunch for ages … luckily no queues on a random Wednesday mid-morning, but the café was still surprisingly well attended — don’t people have jobs to go to?! The menu is completely overwhelming and I decided to go for the most filling sounding option I could spot — chorizo hash browns with fried eggs! Somehow I expected the creation to look somewhat different from fried potatoes with sausages on the side — pre-sliced chorizo just makes a lot more sense, the skin on these was really touch and spoilt the enjoyment. The fruit salad I ordered as a healthy antidote was nice and fresh — but sadly didn’t arrive before the fry-up as ordered. Summing up, it is the service that lets down the Breakfast Club, if it’s this haphazard on a Wednesday, how do they cope at the weekend?! Still, the overall concept and vibe of this chain is fun and funky, and I’ll try and find another excuse to visit one of the other branches — I’ll opt for one of the less oily breakfast options next time …

Cute breakfast spot with a fun vibe. Go during the week to avoid the crowd.

I absolutely love it here! The breakfast is so amazing I went back two days in a row. It is one of the few places in London that I have found that serves iced coffee and iced tea(that tastes amazing). The first time I went I had the breakfast burrito and the eggs were so fluffy and the chorizo tasted amazing. The second time I went I got the huevos rancheros. It was definitely the closest thing to real Mexican breakfast since I’ve moved to London. The atmosphere in the restaurant is so great and the music is on point. The service was more like an american restaurant than a British one. Also the full Monty is delicious and worth a try.

I mean — when you’ve got the regency café doing the same breakfast for much much cheaper and much much better you ought to buck up your ideas!!! the sickening thing was seeing a queue outside this place on a sat morning… I thought why don’t you support local café’s that are cheap and better!!!

Great place for breaky/brunch! Its got a quirky, fun vibe! I had the Hot Chocolate with cream/mallows and the Eggs Benedict, both were delicious, my partner had the Full English Breaky, complete with maple syrup! No complaints, great breakfast!

Wonderful atmosphere and great food, including yummy vegetarian options. We go whenever we can. Our son loves the laundry area.

The Breakfast Club is great breakfast option close to the Clapham area! They have typical all-American breakfast including large portions. During busy times, the wait time is quite long. However, we planned to come on an off time and had no wait. Whoot whoot. I had the half monty which is was plenty of food and quite filling. I was shocked to see that«bacon» meant a ham like item which was ok. I tried my friend’s pancakes and they were fluffy and light. He had the full monty and raved about it. The atmosphere is pretty fun and we sat next to fun washer/dryer units. The service is also decent. This is totally worth trying and I understand there are many of these locations throughout London. Just be careful… around busy times, the line goes out the door and around the side of the building. This is a testament to how good this place is.

As usual great food(great can be used in all senses as I didn’t have dinner that sunday…). The little slice of east London meets williamsbourgh planted in the middle of Clapham is always a good place to go with friends and family. Very child friendly and lots of space. The staff is wonderful as always so definitely a joy to visit, whenever you get up early and beat the 30 people queues of colourful hipsters outside! No offence — I’m a sympathiser.

I went there for a brunch and it was soooo good ! I recommend the Full American Breakfast: the pancakes were fluffy, the bacon crunchy and the maple syrup tasted like heaven. I can’t wait to go back to try something else. Just one advice: if you’re very hungry, do not take the Eggs royale, that are very small.

The Huevos Rancheros was really good complimented by an adequate amount of guacamole, cheese tortilla and spicy sausage done perfectly. Eggs were an ideal sunny side up too. I would recommend to anyone looking for a brunch option wanting a fun atmosphere and music spicing up the wee hours.

I had such a great time playing bingo at BC last night! Anne Hiking is such a lovely, sweet, funny, welcoming host — we wanted to put her in our pockets and take her home she was so cute! It’s a fun night(probably made more so by happy hour wine and cocktails, and me winning the first game to the tune of a pancake breakfast for two!). The décor in the café is good, kitsch fun and the size of the bingo game is kept to a good amount that gives everyone more of a chance to win. By a fluke it was all girls last night so the game took on a definite girl power air, with one of the poor waiters being singled out for special attention from Anne(he took it well!) I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and skin on chips — so yummy and only a tenner! And then after the games had finished and we’d had our food and drinks, we took our receipt ‘next door’(through an internal door that lead through a ‘laundromat’ to a cute, cheap little bar) and got half price cocktails there! Such a fun night and we will be doing it as often as possible. Long live bingo, long live evenings at the Breakfast Club (but not so much the huge queues for breakfasts on a weekend).

Went here for dinner last night and loved the ambiance. Granted, brunch is also my favourite meal of the day, so the fact that it’s served all day is pretty freaking fantastic. Enjoyed the eggs Benedict(although the muffin was a little tough to cut through…) and treated myself to a hot brownie with ice cream for dessert that was just melt-on-your-tongue delectable!

Great place to come for breakfast with a nice atmosphere. The coffee is good and the service is friendly. I went for the full English, which really hit the spot and my friend had the Huevos Al Benny, which gave me food envy… I’ll definitely be back

Went here a few months ago when I was down in London for a long weekend, so the morning of my train back up to Birmingham I thought I would fill up on a full English before the train journey(better than a over priced sandwich meal deal lol) The place is set out lovely with different colours all over the place makes the restaurant look really cool. We was shown a table straight away(first time I have been into a café and had to say table for two haha) All the staff were warm and welcoming and was offered drinks straight away. Free wifi was a bonus because my signal was pretty poor in there. I ordered the full monty(no mushrooms!) it was double the price to what I normally pay but I was in London after all. When it turned up my god you don’t half get a lot of food for ya dosh haha! It was well cooked and well and truly filled me up for my journey home so top marks breakfast club

Came here for a late night Saturday meal and I think A-ok hits the nail on the head with this place. The server was really nice and the place itself is ok if a little odd. For 9pm on a Saturday it was very quiet and annoyingly they didnt have 3 or 4 things from the menu. In the end I went for the fish finger sandwick, beer batter on the fish was nice — consistency was nice, chips were ok. But all just a little average.

For my first visit to The Breakfast Club I made the incredibly poor decision of going on a rainy Saturday, after having spent the evening(and early hours of the morning) prior at Fabric — but that’s another review entirely. So while I was aware of the ABSOLUTEFACT that I would have to wait in a line, I really should have forced my hungover brain to give a little more consideration to the wait. Alas I did not, but it’s ok, I did survive to tell this tale. The staff were very attentive offering(The Breakfast Club-branded) umbrellas and free hot chocolates to those of us queued outside. And the hot chocolate was so good I opted for a full-size version as soon as I got to the table — with marshmallows, naturally. The wait was about 20 minutes, so nothing unbearable, but we did manage to cut it a little shorter by teaming up with another table of two and sharing a table for four instead. The decision on what to eat was pretty simple — it was the All American Breakfast all-round, with a side of French Toast to share. The French Toast was slightly unnecessary in terms of portion sizes, but did I mention my hangover? I loved everything on the plate, and while I had mentally prepared myself not to expect the food to come out too quickly there was no need. The table and food service were super efficient.

I’d been waiting what seemed like ages to not only experience a Breakfast Club but also one closer to me than somewhere in the east. Finally. My time has come. My expectations were met and exceeded. I had the vanilla latte which was sweet but not to much and it was a nice caffeine burst. I had the Huevos Al Benny which is like a Huevos Rancheros vs. Eggs Benedict. Chorizo, eggs, and peppers atop of an english muffin. I also had a side of Spinach which was delicious. Early grey tea to bring my morning buzz back. Pros: The food was great. The waitstaff were attentive and super nice Ambiance — first day of opening… stil working on it a touch The price was on the higher side, but then again, the quality of breakfast food is also elevated. Balances out. cons: I know this sounds weird, but i got confused as to where to enter. I think I’m in love. ______________________________________________ UPDATE! One week later to the day of the opening. I spoke too soon, I’m out of love. At this point we’re not even speaking anymore. \ Here’s the deal breaker. Bad service and babies. Lots and lots of babies in the AM. I can’t handle screaming children who aren’t disciplined enough or naturally quiet enough to handle being out in public. Dont get me wrong, I actually like kids, I just don’t like screaming ones in multiples of 3 that outnumber adults. That I don’t like. its turning into a place for yummy mummies and daddies to congregate and commiserate. Now to the service. I was one of 2 people in the place and my tea, its just hot water really… made the 8 feet in about 10 min. seriously. i’m the only paying customer there. There was a complaint from a near by customer with the same grievance. Maybe someone was hungover… that I understand. but I still don’t care, mama wants her TEA. Speaking of tea, it was burnt and nothing special. Oh where did we go so wrong?
