Wow. Just wow. A absolute fantastic place pizza place in London. Classic pizza in a modern setting! My family and I went to the London Bridge location. The service was great! Tons of awesome laid back Italians. I ordered the calzone, dough balls, and chocolate fudge cake ! Absolutely delicious ! Great flavors of seasonings ! They gave us ice for our waters! Which was a plus due to other places not serving ice. Everything was great! A must go ! Can’t leave london without coming here!

I like Pizza Express. They tend to have more than two veggie options and it’s always a safe choice as you know you’ll get nice enough food. Unfortunately, it doesn’t apply to this particular restaurant. The place looks nice on the outside but really isn’t cosy on the inside. It’s the kind of place where you just want to get out as soon as you’ve had your food. Still, it’s not why I gave it one star. A while ago I hit up one of Soho’s Pizza Express restaurants where I had a delicious veggie pizza with artichokes. So last night I figured I’ll just have the same. Big mistake. Our food arrived fast enough but after a couple of bites I realised that my pizza is missing something crucial — artichokes. They forgot to put artichokes — the most expensive ingredient — on my artichoke pizza. After I pointed it out, they just sprinkled some artichokes on my pizza but it looked nothing like my artichoke central of a pizza from Soho. It was also surprisingly greasy and my classic base tasted like it’s been cooked in a fat filled pan rather than an oven. Long story short, avoid this place. There’s plenty of other restaurants in the area, so even if you want Italian you can find somewhere within half a mile radius. Just to reiterate, I still like Pizza Express, just not this particular restaurant.

Hard to find from the bridge(it’s sort of underneath it). Totally standard Pizza Express experience. Unfortunately there aren’t many other places nearby to get a proper pizza in Southwark, so if you’re forced to go here for a work do or something, be safe in the knowledge you can nip out for a pie and pint down the road.

They don’t take reservations for less than seven people so expect a wait if you’re less than this number and arrive any time after 6.30pm on a weeknight. Luckily for us we got in just ahead of the queues and managed to get a table downstairs. The Leggera Pizza wasn’t bad, light as expected and served with your own pizza cutting wheel. You can invariably always find promotional offers for their restaurants too, so overall good value for money.

I went here and think it was a good experience. The food has a fair price and I really like what I had. I had a pizza and before that Bruscetta. The Bruscetta wasn’t the way you thought it would be — not very traditional but still good! I paid 12 pounds in total — for pizza, starter and drink so that well good. Atmosphere was nice! I liked it!
