Mario’s & Sons Barbers

Picked this barber purely on distance Google Maps and Qype are always helpful there. See, unlike women who like to spend days in anticipation of their hairdo and hours in the salon, receiving all sorts of pampering, highlights, cut and bang and the like, the common man has a different, almost ascetic yet at the same time epicurean attitude towards life. A haircut is a haircut, should be faster than the time required to write this review thumb typing on an iPhone.
There is a minimum that I require: clean scissors and clippers, clean shop, barber that inspires confidence that both your ears will stay in place. For me, an added bonus is not much talk if I wanted to chat I would be having coffee with my friends. Not immediately disliking the cut and a cheap price is also good.
In this sense, selecting Mario’s and Son’s is a no brainer. Yes, they don’t spell it Sons and this is a plus. Genius that transcends the common conventions.
I don’t know who the barber was (not really interested in names) looked young, had a shaved head. Asked all the right questions (in a barely comprehensible accent): how would you like your hair?, sideburns?, do you want the back square or natural?. Perfect. At £8.50 for dry cut, £10 wet you can’t possibly go wrong.
