I have to say, I was impressed by the time, effort and really meticulous nature of this haircut. I was going to go to Gino’s like I usually do, but when I walked in and saw one barber and a line of four dudes, it was an immediate, «Nope!» I turned out and checked Unilocal for the nearest, next best place. Mesut had excellent reviews and so, I figured why not. There are a few Turkish barbers on this street and I can’t speak for all of them, but I like this one. It’s a relaxed environment, well-lit, very clean. When I came in, there was no one else there, but it filled up during my cut. Which is exactly the point, there was enough time to have it fill up. This man was not in a rush, took his time, gave me an excellent cut, exactly the way I wanted. And then it was the little touches that impressed. He used scissors and an electric razor but then used a straight razor for the back and to get the little bits. He also lit a metal wire on fire and used it to burn off my ear hair! That was insane and when he lit something on fire, I had no idea what was coming next, but I figured, thumbs up, let’s do it. And it was awesome. It’s £12 for a cut, which is maybe two or three pounds more than a normal guy’s haircut should be, but still, it was a service and I do appreciate good service. And it is a really nice cut.

You’ll get here a nice haircut. Staff is amazingly friendly and you won’t be bored while they cut your hair. It’s cheaper than many other places and still it is a high quality service.
