Personally I quite liked Caffee Concerto chains in general. Love their cakes, their hot chocolates, and their coffee. This one though I felt less settled and was a little rushed. Admittedly we got in a little late so it’s fine that some cakes are out, however I felt like we were rushed to order and rushed to finish off, which I’m sure it’s just because particular members might have had a bad day. Cakes were nice but given so many things were out I wasn’t able to get what I wanted. That said the chocolate tart was still wonderful, and lemon cheesecake dos melt in the mouth. Just ashamed the strawberry one was gone. The coffee came quite slowly, and when it got here it wasn’t superb; but the hot chocolate was quite nice which is good. There was another ‘party’ table next to us, which was quite loud and quite excited for the entire time, which kind of made our experience a little less pleasant as it was hard to hold any conversations. All in all it was a fair experience, the goods and bass net each other off.

Café concerto is well established in London. This brasserie has eye catching cakes and patisseries in the window to lure you In. The atmosphere is busy and a little hectic which difficult to fully relax. Although busy staff are quite attentive. I had a delicous strwberry tart filled with fresh cream with a crispy chocolate base. We sat at the window where they have a few french style tables which allow you to look out and to a certain extent forget the bustling restaurant behind you. Good for a quick pick me up when shopping on Kensington High Street.

I went here for dinner on a quiet Wednesday night. I had tagliatelle with sausage, which tasted great, but didn’t sit well afterwards. The waitresses basically ignored me, until finally I had to go to the counter and ask to pay my bill. I don’t intend to come back.

Welcome to identity crisis café. I ordered a scone with a pot of tea at this institution boasting a «strong music policy», «fine Italian dining» and a menu full of French baked goods, bad Italian spelling and British afternoon tea items. What is a scone, really? This one sort of met the description of a small lightly sweetened cake made from flour, butter and milk. It was small, lightly sweetened, but also dry, crumbly, and almost rubbery after it’s turn in the microwave: the ideal kind of ball-shaped soft toy one could lob playfully at one’s toddler. Unfortunately, I’m all out of toddlers, and I couldn’t salvage the situation with the teaspoon of clotted cream that accompanied my soft toy. So my advice is not to order the scones but also to realise that the fault really is ours. For not giving scones the definition they deserve and talking them up.

Boarf. Pas exceptionnel. Les gâteaux sont plutôt bons, légers(vu la taille), mais pas fous. Les prix sont assez élevés, l’endroit est bruyant, et le personnel peu aimable. Pas indispensable.

£3.80 for one strawberry tart. I didn’t realize this was a chain. I just wanted a nice insulin spiking sugar fest before I called it a night. I was pretty disappointed. Since everything outside of the USA closes early on Sundays finding a dessert place after 6 is damn near impossible. I’m not a huge cheesecake or chocolate fan so the only thing that appealed to me was the strawberry tart. I failed to see the chocolate crust that had a light layer of white chocolate underneath the tart. The tart crust was a bit dry and the cream filling was underwhelming. This review is basically for my one dessert. I’ve never eaten a sit down meal here.

Another egg-citing place to eat brunch! At 11am, my friends and I were searching for an open pub that served curry. All of those places were closed, so we opted for this place. My friends ordered the omelet, Eggs Benedict, and Eggs Florentine. The Eggs Florentine was superb! Eggs were poached just right and the order came with a small slice of salmon. I was eating the dish half way since it was so good. Then, I just remembered that I forgot to add the hollandaise sauce! I’ve had more flavorful hollandaise sauce before, but this one tasted just good nonetheless! I ordered freshly squeezed orange juice for 4.5 pounds, and let me tell you, it is not worth it! It tasted like store bought orange juice. There was not much pulp, which leads me to believe it was not freshly squeezed. Overall, I enjoyed the place and would come back for brunch!

You come here if the Orangery is closed. The ambiance is really decadent and with plenty of flourishes. The scones are more like biscuits(in a texas usa sorta way) and the clotted cream is mediocre at best. But they do have Gelato and in summer this place is packed… not sure what that says, but its good to rest your heels and grab a tea and relax.
