Specialties
Outside of private practice I work at a charity and for an NHS GP surgery referral centre. I am also three years into a four-year doctorate in Existential Psychotherapy, which provides me with a philosophical outlook on life and the inevitable struggles within it. As part of my doctorate I am conducting research on experiences of ex-military personnel returning to civilian life.
Working across this scope has given me experience of working with a broad range of people and issues, so I can support you in whatever you are wanting therapy for. I am particularly well equipped in supporting people through anxiety issues, stress, bereavement, crisis of values/beliefs, low/depressive mood, low self-esteem, panic attacks and relationship issues.
I work from as few as six weekly sessions up to a period of years, meaning I can tailor our time together to your needs, whether short or long-term. I am available in the daytime as well as in the evening to accommodate normal working hours.
