The Pineapple

Fruit glorious fruit, where would we be if places like this did not exist. At the mercy of the super market giants of course with their genetically modified offerings. I love fruit salads with a passion and this is heaven for those wishing to mix up a bowl for yourselves.
Pineapple is not at the top of my list of tropic fruits but it does add a bit of zip to any fruit salad, albeit it scarce amounts. In copius amounts it just seems to cut your tongue with that sharp taste which is left in the mouth for a while. I am much more inclined towards the softer seductions of the Melon. The wholesome taste of a coconut also is ahead of the pineapple as is the juicy nature of watermelons. Point of the matter is whatever your fancy fresh fruit is here for ya’all to enjoy and we are thankful oh lord for providing such splendours on this humble planet of ours.

The Pineapple is a little local fruit and veg shop which is in the middle of the main shopping road in Waterloo, Liverpool. Obviously it mainly sells fresh fruit and veg. but it also sells fresh flowers which the lady arranges for you beautifully.
The prices are fairly average for most of the fruit and veg shops in the area but they do special deals where u can get some real bargains. I also know that they deliver fruit and veg to all the local business in the area and since there is a lot of choice the business could make then they must be the best.
