Ummm lovely curtains! This place has seen better days or at least I hope it has. There are 252 items on the endless menu and I think it may be a case of quantity not quality. It seems you can just about eat anything you want with any kind of sauce and with or without cashew nuts. I was not brave enough to try the chicken banana rolls, one if the chef’s specials. I was expecting more vegetarian/vegetables dishes for a restaurant with garden in the name. On a positive note they are the only place in Liverpool that still accepts Diners Club. I wasn’t impressed but I am going to give this place another chance.

I hate to do this but I’m afraid the Peking Garden isn’t really even worth one star. This restaurant has the strangest set up — first of all, it is one of the scruffiest and dirtiest restaurants I’ve ever been in. Secondly, you eat your meal in a bedroom upstairs. Strange. Now to the food, if you can call it that, I’m sorry but it was either not cooked properly or was burnt. The meat all lacked any flavour, it did not taste anything like Chinese food. To be honest, I’d rather pop to the chippy.
