As I stomped past Childwall Fish and Chips I was pleasured with the smell of chips. On a mission, I took a sharp turn back and went in to buy some chips. The lady serving was very friendly, quick and efficient. The chips were of a good size, ungreasy and fresh. At £1.10 I couldn’t complain. If I had had a bigger appetite I would have tucked in to one of their soups — chicken with noodles — followed by crispy chicken cantonese style with a few prawn crackers. There is the option for 2 at around £8.20 or £10 in total which looked equally appetising. There is a really good range of chinese meals to choose from but if you don’t fancy this, then the fish and chips will make you smile. Last point to note is the cleanliness of the place — really good!
