Fung Lok is at the Allerton Road end of town which has a fast growing reputation for yummy but affordable food. The food is great but the restaurant isn’t exactly great… there isn’t much of an atmosphere and it does feel a bit like your sitting in your granny’s house. I’d suggest the takeout because like I’ve said the food is great! Then again the staff are really friendly and the service is great. I suppose it depends on what you’re after, it just doesn’t really fit in with the rest of the trendy and modern restaurants down this end of town.
I recommend the pepper steak and the satay skewers!
