Neighbourhood is a family run restaurant set in the heart of elegant Childwall. Eating with us is like a cross between having a meal in a Parisian bistro and going out for dinner at the house of an old friend.

We open our doors for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is rustic, desserts are home made and we are a regular refueling stop for yummy mummies and local celebrities. We are also proud supporters of many local suppliers and stock a vast array of organic and locally sourced products. All of our dishes are made freshly to order by our experienced chefs and our specials change daily.

Oh i so agree, this is a wonderful little restaurant/​café, and i cannot praise it enough, i stumbled across it quite by chance on a rainy day as i entered it was so warm and personal the service was excellent and friendly as it was morning time so i ordered what i would call brunch, «Manhattan eggs» which consisted of smoked salmon free range scrambled eggs cooked red onion on a whole wheat ciabatta with home fries. it was amazing ! in fact the whole menu is superb.
i now visit on regular occasions and have never been disappointed. take a look at the menu.
This café also has special evenings and traditional afternoon tea, wonderful!

Way out in the leafy suburbs of Childwall is were you will find the aptly named Neighbourhood.
It’s an old fashioned tea room brought up to date in a modern, vintage fashion for the nearby students of Hope Uni, local families and of course the ladies who lunch crowd of which there are many around here.
Good place to stop by for a brew and a slice of cake but Neighbourhood has also got a good reputation for providing quality, hearty bistro style food such as chicken stew or lamb rump as well as a choice of freshly made burgers and pizzas served in very cosy surroundings. Excellent nieghbourhood restaurant.

This little café in the heart of the Liverpool Hope University area is hugely popular with everyone from students to families to couples. The quaint restaurant opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and even an afternoon tea! Scones with jam and clotted cream along with a cuppa all around!
There is an early bird menu where you can get a three course meal for around £15 — not bad considering the homely feel and real genuine rustic food.
May I also say — some of the best coffee in Liverpool.

The Neighbourhood is a great chilled out venue with a wide range of tasty food. Good burgers etc but I usually go for one of the specials which change all the time. They also have live music on some nights int he week which can be cool (unless they are right next to you — sax in the ear is not good whilst eating!)

Oh my gosh bring on the cup cakes here! Only to be rivalled by the Primrose Hill Bakery! The salads and lunch sandwhiches are also very good. I’ve been here lots and often spot a Holyoaks cast member mulling over thier lines and a coffee. Lots of mums and their little ones come, so if you haven’t been child proofed I wouldnt bother.
